Hello, I have a concerning issue to address. Recently, a Twitch streamer reportedly violated the platform's terms by sharing a link to a website featuring adult content. My question is regarding the enforcement of Twitch's policies in such cases. I am not accusing anyone, I just seek clarification on how this violation occurred without repercussions, whereas others face bans for similar actions. I have observed varying behaviors on Twitch, not implying all users are alike. Your response and insights on this matter are greatly appreciated. I stress that my intention is not to target anyone specifically, which is why I have refrained from mentioning names. Sincerely.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties accessing my Twitch account after changing the phone number linked to my Authy app. Despite updating the phone number to both mine and a family member's, I am not receiving the SMS code needed to log in. Additionally, trying to use the code from the Authy app is proving unsuccessful. I have reached out to Twitch support, but they were unable to assist due to what they deemed as incorrect information provided. Concerned, I wonder if the birthdate I used when setting up the account years ago might be incorrect. The original phone number for 2FA ended in [redacted], and the new one ends in [redacted]. I fear starting over would mean losing a year's worth of hard work building my community. I am seeking guidance on alternative ways to verify my identity for account access. Thank you for any help.

I am having trouble accessing my Twitch account. When I tried to log in with the correct credentials, it prompted me to reset my password. I tried to use my phone number and email linked to the account for verification, but Twitch claimed they were not associated, despite me receiving verification messages in the past. My account is not suspended or banned, but my email and phone number seem to be unlinked. I am unable to contact Twitch support without the associated email. I cannot find cases similar to mine and need help from the support team to regain access to my account. My account name is SteamierJarl. Thank you.

Dear Twitch Team, I am writing to express my sincere apologies for the recent incident on my stream. Despite my efforts to ensure no inappropriate content was displayed, I realize that I failed to fully comply with the guidelines. I understand that ignorance is not an excuse, and I accept any temporary suspension as a consequence. I value my community greatly and would hate for them to suffer due to my mistake. Moving forward, I am committed to strictly adhering to all rules and regulations. I kindly request your understanding and compassion in reconsidering the severity of my punishment. I truly believe in learning from this experience and would be grateful for a second chance to continue sharing content on Twitch. My account is currently banned since March 6th, [redacted], and I sincerely hope for the opportunity to rectify this situation. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, AiimoTV

Hello, I go by VegasPhantom. Recently, I took advantage of your promotion and bought 5 subs for the cost of 4. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue trying to gift one to ToreSays as it seemed the process didn't complete properly on my subscription. After a second attempt, I managed to watch the episode but noticed that 2 subs were used, and my subscription still showed it would expire within the month. My intention was to use the sub/token for ToreSays for the next 5 months, one month at a time, but it didn't extend my subscription. I was hoping to adjust the expiration date to reflect two months if that's easier. Thank you for your assistance.

I have reached out to Twitch support multiple times regarding my inability to access my Twitch account on desktop due to not having a connected phone number. When I try to link my phone through the Twitch app, I do not receive the text message. To troubleshoot, I created another account to test if my phone can receive messages, and it successfully does on that account. Despite being directed to use the Authy app, it is ineffective since my phone cannot receive texts on my main account for unknown reasons. The instructions provided to confirm my old and new numbers are not applicable to my situation as I do not have an old linked number and cannot add the new one in this manner. This issue is frustrating as it is causing me to be locked out of other accounts like D&D Beyond. I believe the problem lies on Twitch's end, preventing me from receiving texts on my current account. I urgently need assistance to resolve this issue as I have been unable to access my account for approximately a month now.

Hello, I'm Laura Cervera F. I'm an 18-year-old artist collaborating with Nextfest in Edmonton, Alberta, using your platform to stream their festival featuring local artists. The festival asked me to re-edit my 30-minute horror film due to concerns about gore content that may be flagged. The film features fake organs and an implied murder, mainly visible at the end. I'm reaching out to clarify if Twitch might flag the content as gore, especially since horror video games are allowed on the platform. I wonder if this is more about the festival's guidelines than Twitch's. Please reach out for further discussion. Thank you.

I have been trying for nearly a year to receive my verification email. I recently joined the affiliate program but am stuck waiting for the verification email to arrive in order to start. I have contacted the support team, but despite them resetting my password and providing instructions on becoming an affiliate and troubleshooting the verification process, I have made no progress in the last three weeks. Following their advice to change my email temporarily and then back to the original one, the verification code doesn't come, even after multiple attempts. I'm eager to receive the verification email to proceed with the affiliate program, but haven't received the affiliate email either, even though my account status shows I am part of the program. The situation is extremely frustrating, especially when the system falsely claims the verification email was sent but then shows the last sent date as September 27, [redacted]. I'm looking for assistance resolving this issue. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my Twitch account. I am unable to log in due to the addition of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), a security measure I did not set up. I understand it is for the protection of our accounts, but since I no longer have access to my old phone number and have a new one, I am unable to log in or change my number. I have requested several times to have my account deleted so I can create a new one with my registered email. The account name is Decemberend and it is connected to my Facebook and email, both of which I can access at any time.

I recently received a payment from Twitch, which I had requested to be sent to my PayPal account. However, at that time, my PayPal account did not have a bank account or card linked to it. Due to this issue, I was unable to receive the money by the scheduled date of March 14, [redacted], as informed by Twitch. My PayPal account indicates that the payout was returned to the sender, which is Twitch. I am currently unable to retain the funds in my account until I fulfill the necessary requirements to claim it. Unfortunately, I have not made any progress in resolving this matter with Twitch Support.

My Twitch channel was flagged, resulting in the removal of various emoticons, badges, and other items. I am puzzled by Twitch's actions regarding symbols like a leaf, a poppy flower, or anything "nug related." My emotes, bit badges, and sub badges are all themed around Delta 8, CBD, or hemp, which are legal substances across all states and should be viewed similarly to a beer or cigarette. I am reaching out in the hope that Twitch and I can find common ground, reinstate my content, and move forward without any future penalties.

To Twitch Support: Subject: Assistance Required for Unfair Ban on Friend's Account Dear Twitch Administration, I am reaching out on behalf of a friend, DannyRodriguez, whose account unfairly got banned after a fraudulent bid was made during one of his live streams. As a loyal user who has spent thousands on Twitch, I am disappointed by this situation. I urge you to review my purchase history to verify my commitment to the platform. I believe that the individual responsible for the fraudulent activity should be held accountable, rather than penalizing my friend's entire account. I kindly request details on how to rectify this issue and restore my friend's profile to its original state. If a resolution cannot be reached promptly, I may need to escalate this matter by taking similar actions against other accounts, including those of prominent streamers. Considering the time, money, and support invested in Twitch, I hope for a fair and swift resolution. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,

About a year ago, my account got suspended indefinitely due to a vague "other terms of service violation." Despite submitting multiple appeals, I haven't received any response or explanation for the ban. Previously, I had an active community on Twitch and streamed regularly, but now I avoid the platform to prevent my friends from getting banned while being on stream with me. The suspension came out of the blue without any prior violations, and Twitch only cites "other" violations without elaborating. Prior to the ban, my account was targeted by trolls who spammed, trolled, and used bots on my stream. It seems like the influx of reports from these trolls may have led to my account suspension unjustly. It's frustrating not knowing the exact reason behind the ban.

I am writing to inform you that my Twitch account was compromised on June 30, [redacted], resulting in an unauthorized purchase of 10,[redacted] bits and a donation to a streamer without my consent. The transaction was processed through PayPal from my bank account, and although PayPal initially credited it on July 29, [redacted], they are now requesting a refund of £[redacted].55, which I am unwilling to pay. This incident is particularly distressing as I have never encountered such issues in the 18 months I have been streaming on Twitch. Normally, I only purchase [redacted] bits for about £6.81, which is sufficient for me. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards, Tim Healy (Mod_King_UK)

I unintentionally got banned on Twitch for streaming a live NBA Finals game without realizing it was against the rules. I had no idea streaming such broadcasts could lead to a ban, as it's freely available on TV. I was sharing the experience with my audience, thinking it would be enjoyable. I sincerely apologize for any rules I may have broken and this is my first offense related to an NBA game. I have tried to reach out to Twitch support multiple times over the past month without any response. My Twitch handle is LoomyCheese, and streaming is not just a hobby but also a vital part of my life and career. I seek to be a significant presence on Twitch and hope to be unbanned soon to continue entertaining my followers.

I have reached out to Twitch support multiple times over the past week regarding my issue with the 2FA SMS login. My username is aXXel__TTV. The problem lies with my old phone number that no longer works, and I am unable to receive any SMS or calls on it. I have provided details about my Affiliate program, such as my address, active subscriber count, invoice numbers, and both old and new phone numbers in the emails I sent. My request is simple, either update my phone number for 2FA or disable it so I can regain access to my account with my password. One of the case numbers I referenced in my emails is Case #[redacted]0. I hope to receive a response soon. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I'm having trouble accessing my Twitch account on all my devices, including my PC. I usually stream four times a week, but I haven't been able to since Monday when I was logged out while trying to link my account to my Xbox One S. I believe my login information is correct, but I keep being prompted for a token from my 2-step verification, which I can't access since I no longer have the number associated with my Authy app. I've tried to update my number, but it hasn't worked. I've gained 21 followers, which is a significant start for a small streamer like myself. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently unable to access my Twitch account due to issues with the Two Factor Authentication. I recently changed my phone number earlier this year and my 2FA was connected to my old number. Despite having my password, my Amazon account, Streamlabs OBS, and other linked accounts, I cannot get back into my Twitch account. I have reached out to Twitch Support via email but have not received any response. I possess all necessary proof of identity and it is crucial for me to regain access to my account. I have attempted to reset the password, but I am unable to reset the 2FA, which continues to keep me locked out. The reset process requires the 2FA token to be sent to my old number, which is no longer active. I have exhausted all options and seek assistance in recovering my Twitch account.

I have recently noticed an influx of bot follows on my stream, with names consisting of random numbers or patterns like "[redacted]." While I received 2 genuine follows, the bulk of them (28 in total) were from bots that follow and then unfollow shortly after. I disabled follower alerts to prevent them from appearing on screen, but they continue to occur off-stream and on-stream randomly throughout the day. I am wondering if this could potentially lead to any Terms of Service violations, such as follow-botting, and if so, what measures can be taken to avoid such complications.

I am seeking to address the indefinite suspension of my Twitch account, which occurred following a live stream where I expressed my feelings about someone. While I acknowledge that my actions violated Twitch's guidelines, I want to emphasize that I did not engage in any hateful, harmful, or disrespectful behavior during the stream. I understand that going live to discuss this individual was a mistake on my part, but I am only human. Streaming on Twitch is a significant part of my personal growth, and I am truly passionate about it. I humbly request another opportunity to demonstrate improved judgment. I believe it is essential to consider that well-known individuals may swiftly regain account access by submitting an appeal. We are all human beings sharing the Twitch platform to pursue our dreams, and I am no exception. As a female streamer focused on roleplaying in fivem, I aim to entertain and engage my supporters. I fear that a momentary dispute during a stream could jeopardize my aspirations. I implore you to grant me a second chance so I can continue evolving both personally and professionally.
