Hello. I am reaching out on behalf of my mother, Silvia Biniuc, regarding her Turkish Airlines reservation. Her Confirmation Number is VIG3ZF. She traveled from JFK airport to Chisinau, Moldova on March 9th, [redacted], and was supposed to return to New York on March 15th, [redacted]. Due to recent travel restrictions, we are worried about any potential issues she may face. Despite numerous attempts, we have been unable to reach the call center at 1-[redacted]. Silvia also tried contacting Turkish Airlines in Moldova without success. We simply want to check the status of flights TK270 and TK0001 on March 15th, [redacted]. Silvia is a permanent resident and we hope she won't encounter any problems returning to New York. It is essential for us to confirm the flights' schedules and her ability to fly back. Thank you for your assistance.

Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed with Flight Reservation
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been attempting to contact you via phone at [redacted] without any success as it always gives a busy signal. I understand the overwhelming situation due to numerous air travel adjustments amidst the current circumstances. My wife has a reservation from Dallas to Bodrum on March 16 returning on March 26, but with the escalating Covid-19 concerns and flight restrictions, I am concerned about our return to the USA. Can a refund be processed considering the circumstances? Alternatively, could we reschedule for a different date or receive credit for future flights? I am eager to visit Turkey and willing to use the credit within a year. With our flight approaching in 2 days, a prompt response would be greatly appreciated. I am open to a refund, flight rescheduling, or receiving a flight credit. Despite finding a lower price for a different date, I am willing to make an even trade. Please assist me promptly. You can reach me at [redacted]
Thank you,
Shirin H.

I was under the impression, based on an announcement that TKY posted on their website last Wednesday, that if I changed my flight to Turkey before March 16th, I wouldn’t be charged a rebooking fee. It appears that the offer now only applies to countries that have been blocked from certain countries. I find it disappointing that the information changed within 2 days. Despite trying to contact customer service through phone, it has been continuously busy. My email to customer service has also gone unanswered. I would like TKY to clarify why they are not honoring their initial offer for all passengers. My father managed to change his Turkey to US flight without any charges. I understand TKY may be overwhelmed with numerous calls and emails, but I anticipated being able to change my ticket free of charge before March 16th.

I recently contacted your [redacted] call center to reschedule my non-refundable tickets to Athens, Greece via Istanbul in mid-April. Despite requesting the agent to lower her voice due to her rudeness, she abruptly hung up on me after I asked about deferring service charges due to the current travel restrictions. I am unable to return to the US from Greece as initially planned. I am hoping for one of three resolutions: a TA credit for future use, re-scheduling at no additional cost, or a full refund. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your anticipated response.

On the 15th of March, my mother (A.M.) flew from Gatwick to Istanbul with an Italian passport. At Gatwick airport, they confirmed twice that an Italian national could travel to Turkey, allowing her through. However, upon arrival in Turkey, she was stopped at the airport and sent back on the 16th of March. Despite presenting her UK residency proof, bank statement, and driving license, she was not allowed entry. Her UK friends accompanying her had no issues entering Turkey. Istanbul airport later confirmed they were not allowing Italians at that time, which contradicted Gatwick's earlier advice. I am seeking a refund for both tickets and an explanation for the confusion that led to this situation.

Hello, I'm Anna V. I need to cancel my flight from Nursultan to Germany with booking number SXHMVX and ticket number [redacted][redacted]. I'm having trouble canceling it in the app as it shows an error and advises me to contact the call center. Unfortunately, none of the numbers I've tried seem to work. Turkish Airlines no longer flies to Germany, so I need to cancel both flights. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided by Turkish Airlines. I recently had a booking with your airline under ticket number [redacted] [redacted] 07 /C2. The flight from Manchester to Istanbul was canceled without any prior notification. Despite my attempts to contact customer service for assistance with rescheduling, I only encountered automated responses with no resolution.
I am currently in the UK on vacation but need to return to my home country before March 23 for work reasons. The unexpected cancellation has not only disrupted my travel plans but also incurred additional costs for accommodation in Istanbul. The proposed refund for half of the flight cost is inadequate considering the increased expenses I now have to cover due to this situation.
I discovered that an alternative flight was available at 11 am from Manchester, which would have been a suitable option if it had been offered during my initial call at 8.30 am. Instead, I was only given a flight for April 8 as an option.
I kindly request a thorough review of my circumstances and a more feasible solution, even if it involves booking a seat on another airline. I can confirm that the claim made by your representative regarding the airport closure in Nigeria is false, as all major airports there are fully operational.
I am currently running low on funds and cannot afford to be stranded in a foreign country. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Kind regards,
A.B.

I have a one-week return APEX trip booked to fly from Boston to eastern Turkey (Mardin) in April, with a layover in Istanbul. Due to medical advice given my age of 79, I am unable to fly until the Covid-19 epidemic is under control. I am interested in converting my ticket to an open one for a future date, as indicated on the TA website.
I have attempted to contact customer service repeatedly over the past two days, but have been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. Any insights you can provide on this matter would be greatly valued.

I have attempted to reach Turkish Air for several days but have been unsuccessful. On February 6th, I booked round-trip flights for myself and my husband from SFO to FRA via Istanbul departing on April 28 and returning on May 12. However, due to medical advice advising against travel to Germany and through Istanbul airport, I need to cancel or reschedule. Our Agency Record Locator is BRYODU, and our names on the reservation are Valerie Ee Kazansky and David Howard Kazansky. Our flights are as follows: 4/28 SFO to IST on Flight #[redacted], IST to FRA on Flight #[redacted], and return flights 5/12 FRA to IST on Flight #[redacted], and IST to SFO on Flight #[redacted]. I am looking to reschedule for September or the first two weeks of October if fee-free changes are possible. Kindly advise on the necessary steps. Thank you for addressing this promptly. - Valerie K.

Hello, my name is Rohmingmawi Sanate, and I traveled on the 16th of March on flight TK012 from New York to Turkey, then to Delhi, and finally to Imphal. Upon arriving in Delhi, I discovered that my luggage was missing. I was assured it would be taken care of and sent to my permanent address. Recently, I was contacted by Delhi airport staff who couldn't find my address, which seems unlikely. I requested my luggage to be sent to my home airport in Imphal, but there have been conflicting messages about its delivery to Guwahati instead, another state. I cannot travel there to collect it. I urgently need the airline's assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Thank you.

As an international student from Pakistan currently in the USA, I am facing a situation where my college has shut down, and I need to return to Pakistan soon. The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has made it mandatory for all incoming international travelers to present negative covid-19 test results starting from March 21. Being in Davenport, Iowa, it's challenging to find available testing without symptoms. I am planning to fly on March 20 and arrive on March 22, after the new regulation is enforced. I'm concerned whether the airline will permit me to board in Chicago/Turkey or enter Islamabad without the covid-19 test report. Could you please advise on how airlines handle passengers without the required test results?

I recently booked a flight with Turkish Airlines departing from Brussels to Delhi on 03 Apr [redacted] and returning on 26 Apr [redacted]. Unfortunately, my Brussels to Istanbul flight was canceled due to the Coronavirus situation. I received a message from BudgetAir informing me of a "slight change" to my ticket, stating that it is now from Istanbul to Delhi and Delhi to Brussels. This change is more than slight as my departure flight was canceled, making it impossible to catch the connecting flight. BudgetAir mentioned that schedule changes are beyond their control and that the airline is responsible for transporting passengers to their final destination. Turkish Airlines did not offer any alternative flights, and BudgetAir advised me to refer to the ticket conditions for any changes or cancellations. I have also contacted Turkish Airlines Customer Care for assistance. I booked with Turkish Airlines based on their reputation, but now I am facing this issue without any fault of my own. I am seeking a refund or guidance on how to escalate this matter. The situation is causing me financial strain, and I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this.

Hello, my name is Barbara D. My flight on April 13 was cancelled due to the Indian lockdown. After being offered a choice between a new ticket or a refund, I opted for a new ticket: NO [redacted] [redacted] from Delhi to Geneva for April 19. I recently received an email from Ebookers stating that my flight was cancelled by the airline. When I contacted Turkish Airlines, they denied cancelling the ticket, while Ebookers insisted it was Turkish Airlines' decision. I urgently need to return home, and as my April 19 flight is still scheduled, I kindly request my ticket to be reinstated. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - Barbara

I made this booking with VAYAMA back in January. Recently, I received an email stating that Turkish Airlines needed confirmation for a rescheduled departure date from 4/27 to 5/1. However, the email did not mention the option to cancel and receive a full refund, which I later found out by contacting Turkish Airlines directly. Unfortunately, upon clicking the Confirm button in the email, a new E-ticket was issued, overriding my original ticket. I have been trying to reach VAYAMA since March without success, feeling frustrated and trapped. My Gate 1 Turkey tour has been canceled, and traveling to Turkey no longer serves a purpose. I did not agree to this change and wish to know if there is a way to cancel the unwanted alteration and revert to my original E-ticket.

I am seeking a full refund from the travel agency for our Turkish Airlines flight to Delhi from SFO that got canceled due to the lockdown in India. The agency claims the airline isn't issuing refunds and shared the cancellation details below. However, when I contacted the airline before the flight, I was assured a full refund or credit valid for a year due to the airline's cancellation. They stated that as the booking was made through the agency, only the agency could handle the refund process. We are unsure how to proceed and need assistance in obtaining a full refund for our tickets. The agency provided the Turkish Airlines cancellation guidelines for tickets purchased until March 20, [redacted], and for travel until December 31, [redacted], including the date change policy and conditions for free changes.

Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you that I purchased two economy class flight tickets through the flytoday.ir website for Turkish Airlines flights from Beijing to Istanbul and Istanbul to Tehran. Regrettably, these flights were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
I believe Turkish Airlines has a policy for refunding payments in such situations. Could you please confirm whether the payment has been refunded to flytoday company? There seems to be a discrepancy as the company claims they have not received the refund from Turkish Airlines. If the refund has not been processed, could you provide an update on when it will be issued?
As a frequent traveler and loyal customer, your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely, Sepideh Pourhashem

I recently bought 3 airline tickets for my family from Bologna to Manila with a stopover in Istanbul, which got canceled due to Covid-19. Our final destination was Bali, but due to unforeseen circumstances like work changes, I can't go on this vacation anymore. I've been trying to request a refund for the tickets, but I'm facing issues completing the process. Should I wait for flights to normalize as mentioned in the refund option? I contacted MYTRYP where I purchased the ticket online, and they advised me to reach out to Turkish Airlines directly for the refund for 1 adult and 2 children. Here are the details:

- BELLINI HERGUIDO, Carmen
- BELLINI HERGUIDO, Alessandro

Dear Sir,
My name is Samiullah Essakhel, a resident of the UK.
I bought a return ticket from a Turkish airline agent in February. Due to the pandemic, the flights were suspended by the government of Pakistan, leaving me stranded. I had to change my ticket twice and now my latest flight on May 27th got canceled by the airline.
According to the online information, Turkish Airlines has suspended all flights until May 28th, with plans to operate limited flights in June. I need to know the exact dates when Turkish Airlines will operate from Islamabad to Istanbul and Istanbul to Birmingham in June so I can change my flight accordingly. The agent I bought the ticket from was unsure about this information.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide me with a reply.
Thank you.

Hello,
I am reaching out regarding my flight booking from London Heathrow to KLIA on 28th May [redacted]. Unfortunately, the flight has been cancelled and rescheduled to 1st June [redacted]. I am inquiring about the flight availability in June because when a friend contacted Turkish Airlines, they were informed that there are no flights to Malaysia until July. I am concerned about the lack of consistency in the information provided. I understand the challenges posed by the current situation but would appreciate clarity on whether there will be flights in June. The constant rescheduling of flight dates has been inconvenient. I hope for a prompt update on the status of Turkish Airlines operations in June. Thank you and have a great day.
