Hello, I hope you are well. I'm currently facing an issue with my flight today. My booking number is U5BXTI, for a trip from Brussels to Cape Town with layovers in Istanbul and Johannesburg, with the final flight on South African Airlines. When attempting to check in, I received an error message stating "check in is not possible DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THE FLIGHTS." I would appreciate it if you could provide more details on the situation and advise me on whether there is any cause for concern. I have attempted to contact the call center without success in reaching a representative. Your prompt assistance is highly appreciated.

Hello, My husband took me on a trip to Zanzibar, and we flew with Turkish Airlines, but there are so many different reptiles here that they even come into the hotels and rooms. The hotel staff is not attentive enough, and today the power went out, which really scared me. We are starting to consider cutting this trip shorter than we planned for the sake of my mental health. We are requesting assistance from Turkish Airlines. Our return flight is on December 30 to Berlin, on flights TK567 and TK1723. Please let us know if there is an opportunity for us to leave Zanzibar for Berlin earlier on that day, or if not, we can fly to Istanbul. We can spend time in Istanbul until December 30. Kind regards, A customer of Turkish Airlines. We would appreciate contact via email or phone call/online discussion.

Hello, I am writing to you with a big request. My husband brought me to Tanzania, Zanzibar for a vacation, but unfortunately, there are so many reptiles here that they are even coming into hotels and rooms. We have changed a few hotels, but the same issue persists. Additionally, we have been experiencing power outages constantly, which has made me very scared. I am struggling to compose myself as I am phobic, and I feel stuck and very disgusted and scared here. Please find a solution for us and if possible, send us back on the next available flight. Our normal return was scheduled for 30.12.19 TK567 to Istanbul and then to Berlin TK1723. We are in an urgent situation and we are reaching out to Turkish Airlines for help. If you could move up our return flights free of charge, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is just the Istanbul flight, it would be sufficient. We are open to anything. Please contact us via this email. Thank you to all Turkish Airlines fans for your assistance.

I am Christiana Janet Yeama Charley, and I recently traveled with Turkish Airlines from Stockholm to Istanbul and then to Freetown. Unfortunately, my luggage did not arrive with me, causing a great deal of inconvenience during this holiday season. My essential medications and expensive gifts for my family are inside the missing baggage. My booking reference number is Fnatk10797, and my last name is Charley, as previously stated. I am bewildered by the delay since your airline operates flights to Freetown three times a week. Please assist me promptly in locating my luggage. I am contemplating legal action if this matter is not resolved swiftly. The contact number provided on the lost luggage form at the airport is not functional, leaving me with no means of communication regarding my belongings. I look forward to your prompt response. Best regards.

I am looking to purchase a ticket using my friend's Ecobank card. He is aware that I am using his card, however, the issue is that his card is from a Ghana bank (Ecobank) and we are currently in Ukraine. The verification code is being sent to his Ghana number, which is not working here in Ukraine. I am hoping there is a way for us to buy the tickets where the verification code can be sent to his email for him to respond. My name is Adams B. and I am a Ghanaian citizen studying medicine in Ukraine. My friend's name is Isaac O. N.

Hello, I purchased a tourist visa for Turkey to begin on January 7, [redacted], through E-Visa. Unfortunately, due to a flight delay by Turkish Airlines, I will be in Istanbul on January 2, [redacted]. I mistakenly did not start my visa on this date. I realize I should have started the visa on January 2 but forgot. Is it possible to change the dates on my current visa instead of purchasing a new one for 99USD? I believe this is an exceptional circumstance. Thank you, Rachel

I am currently traveling from Des Moines to Delhi. My bag was checked in at Des Moines, USA, and I was supposed to retrieve it in Istanbul and check it in again for New Delhi, India. Regrettably, my bag was not given to me in Istanbul, causing me to board my next flight without it due to the short layover. This experience has been quite distressing. I have spoken with Indigo and Turkish Airlines customer service representatives, who advised me to reach out to you to arrange the delivery of my bag on the next available flight. I can be contacted at A [redacted] New Friends Colony, New Delhi [redacted], India, or by phone at [redacted] or [redacted]. Kind regards, Amisha Pershad. Please provide an email address where I can send my boarding pass and baggage ticket for further assistance.

Hello, we reserved a round-trip ticket for flight TK1480 for Tkalich Lilia. Today, we completed online check-in for the flight, only to receive another email a few hours later informing us that the flight has been cancelled. Despite having a confirmed apartment booking and all preparations in place for the trip, we are now left with uncertainty. We have two inquiries: 1. When is the next available flight from Zaporizhiia to Istanbul and back? 2. Is it possible for Turkish Airlines to replace the cancelled trip with a new one from Kiev on the same travel dates?

Hello! I have a couple of inquiries. I booked a flight through Travelgenio for two people on the 6th of January from Luxor to Budapest via Istanbul. The booking is under the names B. Markanovic and G. Komarcic. We did not opt for any cancellation protection or flexible dates. 1) Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, G. will not be able to join me on this trip. Is it possible to get a partial refund for her ticket? 2) I am considering changing my travel date to Budapest to an earlier time. Could you please let me know the procedure and associated costs? I look forward to your response. Thank you.

Hello, I am currently attempting to reserve a roundtrip flight from Stavanger, Norway to Tehran, Iran. My child was scheduled to fly from Catania to Miami with a layover in Milan. The airline changed her reservation to Turkish Air. She was rerouted to Istanbul where her flight was delayed for twenty-four hours. Turkish Air arranged for her to stay at a hotel without her luggage or money. I am unsure of the hotel details. They provided her with a single meal voucher for the extended wait. She is feeling anxious and struggles with communication. I am unable to reach anyone at Turkish Air, and Air Italy claims they cannot assist further. Seeking assistance with this matter, thank you.

I had a disappointing experience with Turkey Airlines on my return flight from Kathmandu to London. On December 24, [redacted], after boarding flight TK727, it was canceled causing significant inconvenience. Passengers were provided a hotel for the night and an alternative flight, TK [redacted], was scheduled for December 25, which was delayed over 3 hours. Missing the connecting flight to London, passengers, including myself, struggled to find assistance and were left without accommodation or proper welfare services. Finally, after much effort, I secured a replacement flight, TK [redacted], departing on December 26. The series of cancelations and delays had a severe impact on my Christmas plans with my family. I am seeking compensation for the extended delays, lack of support at Istanbul during the transit, incurred expenses, and the distress caused by this ordeal. I am reaching out to Deurali Travels London to assist me in claiming compensation as per EU Regulation [redacted]/[redacted] from Turkish Airlines. I hope that the airline will acknowledge the challenges I faced and offer a suitable resolution promptly. Thank you, Diptiya Rai Thulung Kent, UK

Hello, my name is Sharofiddin Isanov. I experienced a flight delay on December 10th on flight TK6 from ORD-IST-TAS. The Chicago-Istanbul leg was delayed by 2 hours. I encountered issues with my carry-on luggage when a crew member took it due to lack of space in the cabin, promising to place it in business class but it ended up in the cargo hold. This caused me to miss my connecting flight and incur a $[redacted] charge to book a new flight. Despite explaining the situation, the airline staff insisted I pay for missing my flight. As an elite passenger, I expected better treatment and accountability from the Turkish Airlines agents. I am disappointed with their handling of the situation and seek compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss. My reservation number is SWSMNB, and my ticket numbers for the flights are [redacted] [redacted] 33 and [redacted] [redacted] 01. I have evidence including photos of my bags and carry-on for reference. Thank you for considering my case.

On our recent journey from San Francisco to New Delhi with a layover in Istanbul on Turkish Airlines, my spouse and I encountered significant challenges. We missed our connecting flight due to the delay in obtaining our boarding passes. Despite receiving incorrect directions from airport staff in Istanbul's vast airport, we arrived at the boarding gate after it was closed. Subsequently, we had to purchase new tickets to reach New Delhi. Unfortunately, Turkish Airlines automatically canceled our return flight from New Delhi to San Francisco because of the missed connection in Istanbul. I kindly request Turkish Airlines to reinstate our return tickets, as we initially purchased round-trip tickets in Istanbul for consecutive flights. I have already reached out to Turkish Airlines customer service via email, creating reference number TK-[redacted], but I have not received a response yet. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. - M.S. Khalsa

I am writing to address an issue regarding a refund for an Economy Flexible ticket. I have reached out to customer service twice, but was directed to use the Feedback form for assistance. Despite following the TA agent's instructions, I have attempted to use the online feedback form three times to no avail. My concern stems from purchasing economy return tickets for 3 passengers on the Turkish Airlines website with my credit card. The tickets were for travel from Durban to Tblisi, where the Economy Flexible return ticket was advertised as fully refundable. However, customer service now claims that due to it being a promotional ticket, no refund is possible, even though this information was not disclosed on the website, the ticket, or the fare rules. After reviewing the fare rules for the Economy Flexible ticket, it is evident that the information provided differs from what was promised, causing confusion and dissatisfaction as I had paid extra for flexibility that is now being denied. I urge Turkish Airlines to reconsider this discrepancy and provide a fair resolution, either by honoring the full refund as advertised or offering an alternative destination for my travel plans.

I flew from Tashkent, Uzbekistan to San Juan, Puerto Rico with a layover in Istanbul, Turkey and New York (JFK) using Turkish Airways to New York and JetBlue from New York (JFK) to San Juan to work on a cruise ship. Turkish Airlines experienced a check-in system issue on my connecting flight in Istanbul, resulting in the deletion of all luggage tag records from Istanbul to San Juan. Upon my arrival in San Juan, I did not receive my luggage. Turkish Airlines in Istanbul has no record of my luggage, but JetBlue informed me that it is still in Istanbul due to the deleted tag records. I have filed a case with Turkish Airways under number [redacted] and request urgent assistance in locating my luggage, as it contains all my clothes and personal items. I am eagerly awaiting an email response. Thank you.
