I recently submitted my taxes to the CRA but encountered issues with my NETFILE Access Code being rejected and my account getting locked. Despite trying to follow instructions provided via chat, I have been unable to resolve the problem with TurboTax or CRA. I am frustrated with the automated responses and unhelpful advice I have received. As a long-time user of this software without any prior issues, I am seeking assistance to rectify this situation. Thank you for any help. - Mickey LaBrie, [redacted]

I have successfully paid my TurboTax bill and completed all my tax work. Initially, I attempted to charge the amount to my credit card but encountered issues. Subsequently, I opted to establish a payment plan. Following the program's instructions, I made an initial payment of $[redacted] through the IRS Direct Pay website, and the remaining amount was scheduled for installment payments, which were accepted. However, now the program seems to be stuck with the credit card information, preventing me from signing and filing.

I purchased the TT Premier [redacted] Federal and State software from Best Buy in Falls Church, VA, for $[redacted].99 on 03/27/[redacted]. The TurboTax Activation Code is 3WCHUL7MLAMQHEBX. Best Buy did not provide a CD; instead, they used my email address, [redacted], to download the software package. I completed both federal and state taxes using Intuit TurboTax, but when trying to file, it keeps asking for payment of $[redacted].00 for both packages. I am stuck in a loop and unable to file without paying again. I need help accessing my tax information without having to repay TurboTax.

My extension for [redacted] was rejected with code IND-[redacted] due to using the "RETURN HEADER" of a deceased person, my late husband, with whom I filed jointly in [redacted]. When I refiled the extension using only my information, the rejection occurred again. I contacted TurboTax, but the initial Tax Support representative was unable to provide clarity on the issue. After speaking with a more knowledgeable representative the next day, we updated the submission with only my details, assuming it would make me the primary account holder. Despite these changes, the rejection persisted. I have concerns that the system might still be using my late husband's SSN in the submission process, and I need this issue resolved before I can file my [redacted]. I would appreciate a phone call once this matter has been addressed.

I am encountering an issue with the Premier edition for investing. While using the "Find" tool, I can input information for the "Foreign Tax Credit," but it does not reflect as a deduction from the Federal Tax owed (line [redacted]/[redacted] on the Federal tax form). This is a significant drawback for individuals like me who have paid foreign taxes. Additionally, I have noticed that the Premier edition does not include the T2209 tax form for foreign tax credits when using the "Find" tool. It seems misleading to allow users to enter foreign tax data without integrating it into the rest of the tax return as expected. I believe it would be helpful if the relevant tax form for foreign tax credits was also included when discussing the "foreign tax credit" feature in the program.

I recently checked the IRS Track My Refund tool and found out that my federal refund was deposited over a month ago. When I spoke to an IRS representative, they mentioned the deposit went to an unfamiliar account and routing number. They explained that refunds are typically sent only to the taxpayer or the tax preparer, in this case, TurboTax. I suspect the refund might have gone to TurboTax if I chose to cover my tax preparation fees with it. I'm reaching out to get assistance in locating my refund and to understand when I can expect to receive it, considering it was transferred a month ago.

I have been a loyal TurboTax user for years, relying on the convenience of transferring prior year's data to streamline the current year's tax return. Unfortunately, this time around, the "Last Year" information was missing, leading to a tedious process of reentering details from W-2s and 1099s. Moreover, despite regular updates, TurboTax failed to reflect the extended tax deadlines for filing and payment, causing confusion as I rushed to meet the original April 18th deadline. The unexpected creation of an amended State return coupled with missing information on the extended deadline further complicated the situation. In light of these issues, I have several pressing questions regarding TurboTax's functionality and the proper submission of my California tax return. The lack of access to last year's data and the outdated deadlines in TurboTax have significantly hindered my filing process, prompting concerns about correctly submitting the amended State return and potential late fees or interest charges. Ultimately, I seek guidance on how to handle the situation, especially regarding the dilemma of submitting an initial versus amended State return and the possibility of reverting to the original filings to simplify the process. Navigating through these unexpected challenges has been frustrating, underscoring the importance of a seamless tax preparation experience with accurate information and deadline updates. I am hopeful for resolution and appreciate any assistance in addressing these complexities efficiently.

I recently received a notice from the IRS stating that I owe $[redacted].85 for my [redacted] taxes. Last year, I filed my taxes late using Turbotax due to my husband's health issues requiring constant care. Aside from pension and Social Security, we have $10,[redacted] in farm income annually, usually reported on a K-1 and Schedule E. However, Turbotax directed me to report it as Additional Income on Schedule 1, potentially causing the additional tax demand. I need assistance in resolving this issue as I believed I had already paid everything owed, and I'm unsure why there is a sudden need for extra taxes.

The IRS indicates that the bank still has the funds as of March 11. They provided a bank account number, routing number, address, and phone number. It's important to confirm the amount of the check. I urgently need assistance as my family is homeless. Please address this promptly before my lawyer gets involved.

I am facing an issue with depositing a check through the Turbo Card app. After trying to take a photo of the signed check, I received a message stating that I haven't used the service for a long enough period to access this feature. I am uncertain about what activity is needed to enable check deposits to my card. I have relied on Turbo services for my taxes and online banking for years, and being unable to deposit checks is causing inconvenience. Additionally, I suggest ensuring customers can use the deposit function before requiring them to sign the check, as I found myself with a signed check that I couldn't deposit. It would be helpful to receive guidance on how to utilize the services effectively.

I am having difficulty depositing my paper check using the check deposit app. It indicates that I do not have enough usage history to proceed. I am unsure of the meaning of this message, what steps I can take, or how long it will take to resolve. The check is a handwritten payroll check. I have a history of using Turbo for my taxes over several years and use my card frequently for payments and purchases. This situation has been extremely inconvenient, costing me both time and money, which I currently do not have. Additionally, during my last attempt to use the app, I was prompted to sign my check with the assurance that the process would be guided further. However, upon signing, I was informed on the next page that I could not proceed with the app, leaving me with a signed check that I am unable to cash anywhere I have tried.

I believed I had submitted my [redacted] tax form as instructed. However, I received a notice stating that I owe $97 to the Federal government. Despite the payment being made, they claim the filing was never received. Upon reviewing my records, I cannot find any paperwork or confirmation. As a result, I will need to refile the taxes. It is confusing because I recall making the $97 payment, and even when setting up a payment for my [redacted] taxes online, it shows that the $97 was received. It seems like a misunderstanding or error in processing. I am uncertain about the status of the documents and the situation is perplexing.

I've spent the last two weeks trying to e-file my taxes, and I am extremely frustrated with the amount of time this has taken. It turns out there is a credit card hold on my Intuit account that needs to be resolved. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service, I have encountered various issues such as the number being out to lunch, in a meeting, unreachable on Fridays, not receiving callbacks, and now the number isn't even working today. I previously used TurboTax [redacted] to file my taxes on the same computer I am currently using. I have successfully accessed my [redacted] return multiple times. However, when I tried to open it now to print a copy of my tax return, I encountered an issue. Upon updating as usual, I received an error message stating "TurboTax [redacted] cannot be opened because of a problem." I also tried opening my [redacted] and [redacted] returns, which updated but opened without any issues. I restarted my computer, reinstalled TurboTax [redacted], and contacted an Intuit agent for assistance to no avail. I am using a Mac laptop with Big Sur OS 11.6.8. When I attempted to file my taxes using TurboTax, it showed a return from my previous job and the two stimulus checks. After receiving an IRS letter requesting proof of my identity due to not filing in the past, I had to visit an IRS office to verify who I am. They assured me I would receive my return. However, TurboTax has not sent the return, and I am owed over $[redacted]. Despite taking my documents to H&R Block, I have made no progress. They even lost my paperwork. I am unsure of what steps to take next and desperately need the money.

I bought Turbo Tax from Amazon on February 3, [redacted], with a special offer. I spoke with an Amazon representative who mentioned that due to a "third party" involved, they couldn't assist with making the program available for download. He suggested reaching out to Turbo Tax directly. I need to download the product for tax preparation. What are my next steps to resolve this issue? Can the download be fixed? Or do we need to consider starting from scratch for a refund, which I would rather avoid.
