I am facing issues with Turbo Tax as it has inaccurate information imported from QuickBooks. Despite efforts from two employees to rectify the errors, my taxes are ready to be filed electronically with completed [redacted] and 2[redacted]s and 1040s. I had switched to a competitor briefly but couldn't get assistance, so returned to Turbo Tax for its prior helpful customer service. I am concerned about qualifying for stimulus funds for payroll due to delays in my [redacted] filing. Urgent help is needed.

Hi, I used your online tax service to file my [redacted] taxes on February 10, [redacted]. The IRS sent me a letter on February 25, [redacted], requesting identity verification in person, which I couldn't do due to starting a new job on February 18, [redacted]. I was expecting a $1,[redacted] refund with an $89 service fee to be deducted. I visited the IRS on February 23, [redacted], to verify my identity, and had to paper file for [redacted]. I'm still waiting for both refunds and need an update on my [redacted] refund status. How will you receive payment? Will it be deducted from my refund? I have verified my identity since. I'm frustrated and eager to know when I can expect my refund. Please reach out to me promptly.

I am unable to locate my [redacted] login details for the debit card refund. I received an email indicating my stimulus check was deposited to this card. I believe you may have my stimulus funds. Instead of helping me, I was directed to a suspicious site asking for my credit card information. Turbo Tax needs to address this issue.
Thank you for the update on the stimulus payment from the IRS! The government is depositing the stimulus onto my Turbo Visa Debit Card. If I have the card, I can use the funds right away. If I need a replacement card, I can request one without any fees. The website and phone lines are busy, so it's recommended to try during off-peak hours. I'm eager to access my stimulus money, and I appreciate your efforts to assist customers promptly. For more details or to request a new card, I will visit the Stimulus site for Turbo Visa Debit Card holders provided in your message.
Sincerely,
S. K.

After I submitted my [redacted] tax return to NYS, it was accepted. However, after receiving my federal refund, I did not get my NYS refund. Around mid-February 15th, I received a notice saying the information and refund amount didn't match what they had on file. I sent copies of my W-2 forms shortly after and received confirmation of their receipt. Since then, I have not heard back from the state. Could someone explain the usual procedure for handling refund discrepancies? I would appreciate insight into what to expect and a potential timeline for receiving my NYS tax refund. Thank you for your assistance. - William

I've had my e-filed tax returns rejected twice, not due to TurboTax. I'm unable to communicate with the IRS directly since my cell phone number is not recognized due to being on a pre-paid plan. The IRS is not accepting snail mail either, leaving me in IRS limbo indefinitely. Just a heads-up! Two knowledgeable TurboTax representatives spent hours with me attempting to resolve this issue, but unfortunately, they couldn't break through to the IRS. Despite my current situation, I do want to express my general gratitude to TurboTax for their efforts – thank you, TurboTax.

I have been using TurboTax Deluxe to file my federal and Virginia state taxes for the past decade. As a retired federal employee with a second job, last year I unexpectedly owed a significant amount in taxes, attributing it to the new tax laws. This year, while inputting my incomes from KBR and my federal retirement annuity shown on a [redacted]-R form, I noticed a discrepancy in tax liability compared to last year. TurboTax now indicates I am owed a substantial refund, raising concerns about my previous year's filing accuracy and the presentation of the "taxable Amount" on the [redacted]-R form. I seek guidance on whether I am filing correctly this year and if I should amend my previous year's return.

I submitted my [redacted] Federal and State tax returns on March 26, [redacted]. They were accepted, but I haven't received my tax refunds or Covid-19 Stimulus payment within the 21-day timeframe as indicated by the IRS. When I try to track my refund or stimulus payment, it shows that the IRS cannot confirm my eligibility for the stimulus payment, even though I meet the requirements. The system also indicates that my information doesn't match the return details. I've read about delays for individuals who used TurboTax and the TurboTax green dot for direct deposits. I chose this option and paid $[redacted] for the service, which was supposed to be deducted from my return of $1,[redacted]. I'm worried because I've been laid off and really need these funds. I no longer have my old phone, so please contact me via email at [redacted]
Thank you!

I encountered an error message when trying to submit my transmission. The message stated that my return could not be e-filed due to a Duplicate Social Security Number, indicating that a return with the same Social Security number was already submitted. To make changes, I must file an amended return by mail. If I wish to e-file my state return with TurboTax, it must be filed together with my federal return. Alternatively, the state return can be e-filed later through TurboTax, by mail, or on the state's tax website.

In [redacted], I started a subscription for the Quickbooks Self Employed/Turbo Tax Self Employed Bundle, which I paid $11.99 per month through my iTunes account, totaling about $[redacted].00 for the year. Although Quickbooks failed to connect to my Credit One Bank credit card accounts, I didn't cancel it because it worked with my other financials. When it was time to renew, I realized the amount of work needed to prepare my [redacted] taxes and decided not to renew the subscription. However, when I later attempted to access my [redacted] data to file my taxes, I faced issues with saved passwords and account access. After rejoining Quickbooks Self Employed hoping to resolve the problems, a customer service representative named Jonathan assured me over the phone that I would be reimbursed the $[redacted].99 for Turbo Tax [redacted] software purchase but I have not received the reimbursement or any confirmation email as promised. My total unrecovered amount is $[redacted].99 along with a year's worth of financial data.

I was in the middle of finalizing our tax return when I encountered issues that prevented me from e-filing with TurboTax/Intuit. However, before I could resolve these problems, $[redacted].58 was deducted from my account. I am seeking a refund of this amount because my taxes are not completed yet, and I need this money back in my account until I can successfully file the tax information with the IRS.

I forgot my password and the phone number linked to my account is incorrect. I've been attempting to access my account for days without success. I tried creating a new account, but that also failed. I need to file my taxes but am unable to do so without accessing my account. My name is Ilona Durnin, email: [redacted], and my current phone number is [redacted], which I am unable to update due to being locked out of my account.

I filed my [redacted] taxes and faced issues during an IRS audit. Turbotax assisted me and I ended up owing the IRS $57. They have not withdrawn this amount. I have direct deposit set up through Turbotax, but I have not received my stimulus check. When I check the IRS "get my payment site," it doesn't recognize my information. I'm puzzled as to why the IRS hasn't taken the owed $57 or processed my stimulus check. I receive disability benefits that include my social security details. Thank you, Doreen D.

I submitted my [redacted] tax return using TurboTax on a CD for my computer and mailed it on March 6, [redacted] instead of e-filing. I included Form [redacted] due to an early withdrawal from my 401K. I am disabled on SSDI with a doctor's statement confirming my permanent disability. It's been 9 weeks since I mailed my return, and I have not received my refund or stimulus check. The IRS helpline is not accepting calls, and the website says I may not have enough information yet. How can I confirm if the IRS received my return? Can I contact them another way to check the status? I keep receiving notifications from TurboTax to file my return, should I e-file now despite sending the paper return with the doctor's letter? Thank you, J. Nixon

Last year, I got married and filed jointly with my ex-wife. I've been trying to reach out to her to get our [redacted] AGI or PIN number, but she has not been responsive. The questions on the IRS website for retrieving this information don't pertain to me since I don't have details like home mortgage or credit card information. She used TurboTax to file our [redacted] taxes. What information should I provide to file my [redacted] return and receive my stimulus check? Thank you.

I have a question about my husband's tax situation as we file separately. He hasn't been employed for a long time due to schooling commitments and hasn't filed taxes. When we filed together, they took my share, so now I file independently. He's looking to claim the $[redacted] stimulus from the state to assist us. I suggested he use TurboTax, but he's unsure how to proceed without any employment history. We're awaiting further guidance. Thank you.

I am awaiting a direct deposit of my Social Security disability funds in my bank account, where they have been deposited for over 15 years. My husband moved out in March, and he has never earned enough for taxes. I have not been obligated to file taxes due to not receiving enough in Social Security for over ten years. Despite living at the same address for 18 years, my husband left before the pandemic. He received an IRS letter dated April 24 stating our joint stimulus payment has arrived, but he claims he hasn't received it and is unable to track it through the postal service. Concerned that he may have taken the money, I am seeking advice on how to address this situation. The IRS has previously advised individuals on SSDI to take no action as they have the direct deposit information. I am separated, facing medical issues, and in need of assistance with this matter.

I have been using TurboTax for a few years now. I utilized TurboTax last year and this year to file my taxes, but they were rejected due to a missing personal pin code (as I am the victim of Identity Theft). This year, I received a prompt email notification about the rejection, enabling me to make corrections. Unfortunately, last year, I was not informed about the rejection, leading me to discover it only recently when I checked the status. This oversight caused me to miss the tax deadline, resulting in penalties and interest charges.
I kindly request the following:
1. Refund for the payment made to TurboTax last year
2. Refund for the payment made for TurboTax services this year
3. Refund for the payment made for live service this year
I am dissatisfied with the service provided, as it has consumed both my money and time. I have since consulted a CPA to rectify the tax issues. Please process the refunds promptly to avoid further actions on my part, including potential legal recourse such as a class-action lawsuit. I believe others may have faced similar challenges.

I have not received my tax refund yet, and I am unsure why it was initially pending and now seems to have disappeared. It is possible that there was an issue with the bank account information provided. I have been unable to update it with either the IRS or TurboTax despite my efforts. This is causing problems with my stimulus check as well, as the incorrect information led to it being returned. I need TurboTax to reach out to me directly so we can resolve this issue promptly. I want to provide the accurate information so my refund and stimulus check can be processed correctly. Could you please assist me in updating the information on file with you to avoid any further complications with the IRS? Thank you.

Two of my children were missing from my [redacted] tax return. I am confident that I included all their information, so I'm not sure why they didn't show up. Only my three daughters appeared on the return, and I'm seeking advice on how to rectify this. Additionally, I'm curious as to why my 17-year-old daughter, who I claim as a dependent, isn't eligible for the stimulus credit. Once I resolve the issue about my sons missing from both my tax refund and stimulus, will I still receive the funds?
