I've noticed that many of my posts are being flagged by your system recently. None of my posts contain sexually explicit content, and I believe this is a mistake. I would appreciate it if you could improve your algorithm to prevent this from happening, as Tumblr is important to many users. It would be beneficial to stop flagging and potentially deleting posts until the system is completely accurate. Preserving Tumblr's open and free environment is crucial, and finding better ways to protect minors from sensitive content would be more effective than removing creative content that users have worked hard on. The current situation doesn't seem fair, and it's changing the essence of Tumblr.

Dear Tumblr, I am deeply disappointed by your recent decision to block sexually explicit content. Tumblr's unique appeal has always been its welcoming attitude towards adult content. While I agree that child pornography must be eradicated, banning all explicit material risks turning the platform into just another mediocre site. I joined Tumblr years ago because I appreciated being able to view both NSFW and SFW content in one place. It was a game-changer compared to other websites. The ability to toggle between the two seamlessly was a brilliant concept. Now, with the ban, many users, including myself, will likely seek alternative platforms where they can freely express themselves without fear of censorship or account suspension. Your move toward censorship may alienate loyal users and undermine the edgy reputation that set Tumblr apart from others. As a result, I have decided to delete my account in protest. I refuse to support a platform that prioritizes profit over user satisfaction. Farewell, A former Tumblr user.

I am disappointed with the recent changes on Tumblr. For years, my blog has celebrated male nudity and naturism, emphasizing the diversity of male bodies beyond traditional standards of attractiveness. I have proudly shared images of men of all shapes and sizes, aiming to promote body positivity and acceptance. As a naturist for 25 years, I have frequented naturist clubs and spas, particularly enjoying the openness of naturism in Germany. While I agree that content involving minors should not be allowed on Tumblr, I find it concerning that male nudity is now deemed as explicit or adult content. The vast majority of my blog features tasteful images of non-sexual, unclothed men. It is disheartening to see Tumblr categorize naturism in such a negative light. In response to these changes, I will be moving my content and my 27,[redacted] followers to a more welcoming platform.

Your upcoming policy change effective December 17th is concerning. The decision to take down the app was troublesome, but I had hoped for a better solution. The issue lies not in nsfw content, but in porn bots, child porn, and hate groups. The new policy may not effectively tackle these problems as offenders can circumvent the filters, resulting in many users leaving the platform. I urge you to reconsider and engage with the community. Enable users to report inappropriate content, involve human moderators, and seek input from your dedicated user base. We care about this platform and its future. Please, I implore you to reconsider this policy change.

It's disappointing that Tumblr has decided to stop featuring adult content. While I haven't personally posted on the platform, I regularly used Tumblr to access adult images and videos for personal enjoyment and sharing on Twitter. I am unsure of the reasons behind Tumblr's decision to censor adult content. In my view, Tumblr could consider creating a separate platform, like TumblrAdult, to cater to those interested in such content while keeping the original Tumblr in line with its desired policies. I will likely discontinue using Tumblr if adult content is no longer available, and I believe many others may do the same. While I recognize there are alternative platforms like Twitter and Reddit for adult content, I will miss the unique features of Tumblr. I am hopeful to discover a new platform or app that can fill the void left by Tumblr's policy change.

It appears you are frustrated with the recent changes on Tumblr regarding the ban on adult content. You believe that Tumblr should be a platform where nudity is accepted as a form of art and expression. You express disappointment in the decision to ban all adult content, as you feel that this type of content should be allowed for adults who choose to view it.

I realize that I have unknowingly violated some rules, but I was never properly warned about it. I received one warning in August, and it was removed because the person who owned the picture allowed me to post it. I was told I would receive 3 strikes before my account was terminated, but this did not happen. All my posts were sourced from @strangerthingsfilming and I had permission to use them. These pictures were not copyrighted as they were obtained correctly. I am willing to delete the posts in question and would like to appeal the decision. This account has been a source of comfort for me, helping me through depression and allowing me to connect with dear friends. Losing it would be devastating. I ask for a reconsideration of this decision to restore my account. It holds great personal value and has brought me happiness and valuable connections.

Hello Tumblr community, I understand that those of you reading this are likely not responsible for the upcoming changes in the community guidelines. I apologize if it seems like I am directing this at you personally. I feel the need to voice my concerns about the recent changes. While I agree that certain content like hate speech should not be allowed on Tumblr, the decision to make it a Safe for Work (SFW) website will have a negative impact on many communities and individuals. Many users rely on Tumblr for not safe for work (NSFW) content. Tumblr is not oriented towards children, and the Safe Mode option already exists, making this change puzzling. As an adult, I believe there should be online spaces where people can freely express themselves without excessive restrictions. I have been an active user of Tumblr for years and would be disappointed if the platform suffered due to decreased usage. Perhaps in the future, all sites will follow this trend, and individuals like me will be compelled to explore alternative avenues for content. Thank you for considering sharing these concerns with those in charge of modifying the guidelines. Many others feel the same way. Best wishes for a good day or night.

Hello, I am aware of the recent policy changes on flagging and removing posts containing inappropriate and nsfw content. However, my Dua Lipa blog @dualipaisagod has been affected as many of my posts and reblogs have been flagged. There is absolutely no nsfw material on my blog, and the flagged posts only feature fully clothed photos of Dua. I understand the new guidelines regarding nudity, but I fail to see how images of a fully clothed woman singing or in a photo shoot could violate them. I hope this issue can be promptly resolved, as I would be greatly disappointed and may consider deleting the Tumblr app if my content is removed without valid reason, as it fully complies with the updated guidelines. I kindly request a review of the flagged reblogs and posts on @dualipaisagod to rectify this error. Thank you, and I trust that this matter will be resolved soon so that I can continue enjoying Tumblr.

My blog "aceagustd" was incorrectly marked as explicit just because it contained the word "ace." I am frustrated by this. I am concerned about my main account being deleted due to this error, as I have many messages from friends on there and I enjoy using the site. The site could greatly improve if the staff would listen to user complaints. I understand that you cannot catch everything, but implementing a better system would help. It's disappointing that features like colored text were released without functioning properly, while issues that affect users directly seem to only be addressed when it affects revenue or App Store availability. Here are some suggestions for small updates while you work on resolving this issue: - Temporarily disable blogs and hide them from the blog list to allow users to focus on specific blogs without deleting them. - Allow users to follow people from sideblogs with separate columns for each blog to streamline feeds. - Enable sending asks from sideblogs. Thank you for reading this. I hope these problems will be resolved promptly.

I'm encountering an issue with some content being flagged on the platform. I came across a post that I usually enjoy on my feed from a user known for their humor, expressive nature, and dedication to advocacy. The specific link I'm referring to is from a user sharing thoughts on body positivity and the non-shaming of nipples. While I may not fully align with the wording used, I support the essence of the message that nipples should not be stigmatized. In a society striving for progress, it seems contradictory to allow violent content and hate speech while censoring a natural symbol of life and love - a breast. I believe the image shared should not be classified as explicit. To me, it invokes thoughts of breast cancer awareness, which holds personal significance due to my family's struggles with cancer. Seeing a pink ribbon can be a subtle yet impactful reminder for regular health checks. The image depicts a woman adorned with a pink bow revealing one breast tastefully, devoid of any sexual connotation or explicit display. I have seen more provocative images in art galleries, and this appears far from lewd or obscene. I urge a reconsideration of the policies in place. Encouraging transparency by explaining the reasons behind content moderation instead of generic responses would enhance user understanding. We should assess whether the objection is solely based on the image itself or a broader effort to address problematic content. I genuinely wish for Tumblr to evolve positively, but the current handling of this issue doesn't align with the values I'd wish to instill in young audiences.

I would appreciate more details on the content that has been uploaded from my blog. Previous communication with Tumblr was somewhat helpful but did not address all my concerns. I share the account with my good friend, jabawoki91. I am requesting all the data to be sent to me along with an explanation of its contents. I found the downloaded blog confusing. Unfortunately, my friend has harassed me and uploaded videos that may be incriminating. I need these posts to remain for legal purposes, as advised by my lawyer. Please provide me with further clarification on the data.

I would like more details about the content that has been uploaded from my blog on Tumblr. I have reached out to Tumblr before but the response I received was not entirely helpful. I share this account with a good friend using the username jabawoki**. I kindly request that Tumblr provides me with a comprehensive summary of all the data that has been uploaded. I recently downloaded my blog, but I find it confusing to navigate through the content. My friend, who co-owns this account, has been harassing me and has posted videos that appear to be of himself engaging in inappropriate behavior with others. These posts are crucial evidence for an ongoing legal matter, so I cannot have them removed. My lawyer advised that I seek further clarification from Tumblr regarding the data I have downloaded. I would appreciate it if you could explain the specifics of the information in my Tumblr download.

I disagree with the decision to censor the American public, as you are planning to do to us. I do not have a blog nor have I ever desired to have one. If your intention is to impose censorship on the internet, I would prefer to sever all ties with your organization. Please cancel my account with your organization by December 17, [redacted], or immediately if possible. Kindly notify me via email only to confirm the closure of my account.

The recent ban on Tumblr is truly disappointing. The platform was known for its adult content, which many users appreciated for its freedom of expression. The decision to ban such content feels like a betrayal to the community. This move may even result in users migrating to other social media platforms that offer similar content. Additionally, the ban negatively impacts artists, as the algorithm mistakenly marks non-adult blogs as NSFW. While addressing issues like child exploitation is important, banning all adult content may create more problems than solutions. It's crucial for platforms like Tumblr to find a balance that prevents harmful content without alienating their user base.

Hello, I am a member of several Tumblr websites and I have noticed a recent change in your policy without any warning. The introduction of the "safe-zone" policy seems unnecessary and limiting. Despite the new "sensitive material" label on adult content, I believe in preserving the right to free speech and the autonomy to make adult decisions. It is important to respect individual choices on what content to engage with without unnecessary restrictions. By imposing such stringent measures, you risk alienating users who may seek alternative platforms. Is this the legacy Tumblr wishes to leave behind after December 17th, [redacted]?

I want to express my disappointment with the recent changes to adult content blogs on Tumblr. These blogs have been a vital part of the platform since its beginning, serving as a space for adult artists to share their work and promote their businesses. By censoring these blogs, Tumblr is alienating a significant portion of its user base. Implementing restrictions for minors would have been a better solution than completely removing adult content. These changes are causing harm to many users without effectively addressing the issue at hand. I urge Tumblr to reconsider its approach and focus on improving the platform rather than driving away loyal users. The drastic actions taken by Tumblr are unnecessary and could lead to a backlash from the community.

A few days ago, my Tumblr account was terminated unfairly, citing policy violations about child pornography, which is not accurate. My blog did not contain any inappropriate content, only images of fully clothed young models or in swimsuits. There was no nudity or explicit material involving children. I believe my account was wrongly targeted, and I am seeking to have it reinstated.

My Tumblr account was behaving strangely, not refreshing or displaying new posts, despite working well a few hours prior. In an attempt to resolve this, I logged out. Upon trying to log back in with my email, it stated that there was no account associated with that email, even though I had used it recently. I find this puzzling as I have not deleted the account. I have only engaged with other posts by liking and sharing, never posted my own content.

In November, my account was terminated, and now I have lost access to all my blogs. The pictures on the blogs have not been deleted since I can still see them on other people's blogs or shares. Despite emailing weekly, I have not received any response on how to recover my account. This issue started before the announcement about Tumblr no longer allowing adult content. I did not receive any warnings or notifications about any issues with my account; it was simply deleted one day. Today, I received an email stating that content violating the policy was uploaded on my blog, which I currently have no access to.
