I made a booking for a boat trip in Cancun with the booking number SAT-[redacted]6 which was supposed to include a buffet lunch. However, on the day of the trip, we were informed that the buffet lunch was canceled due to supporting local businesses on the island, and we would have to cover our own meal expenses to be refunded later. Upon boarding the bus, we were asked to pay an additional $25 per person for port fees without any mention of the lunch refund. I inquired about the refund three times during the trip, and the tour guide directed me to an online website without specifying which one or providing instructions. I later learned that we needed to request the refund immediately on the bus, as no refunds would be issued otherwise. The lack of communication and transparency regarding the refund process was disappointing. I am seeking assistance to reclaim the $40 spent on lunch at the island restaurant.

Hello, this is Hotel Villa Bellavista in Praiano, Italy. I would like to address a review that was posted on the 24th of March which accuses us of fraudulent behavior. The guest had made a reservation using an expired credit card with a February [redacted] expiration date, which our system does not accept. We did not mention tripling the price, and our hotel is closed until April, which is why there was no response. The review does not align with the situation since the reservation was canceled due to the invalid credit card. We kindly request the removal of this review as it is unfounded. In Italy, defamation is taken seriously under the penal code, and we have evidence of the expired credit card email. Thank you.

According to the information on the Trip Advisor website, the excursion was supposed to take place on Saturday, April 22nd, [redacted], at 1:30pm. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the pickup location, there was no shuttle awaiting us as indicated. After contacting the excursion company, we were informed that there were no excursions scheduled for the date we had booked through Trip Advisor. This unexpected turn of events led to us having to reschedule the excursion for another day, resulting in the loss of a day of our vacation.

TripAdvisor included a booking.com link with "Reserve now, pay at the property" for our lodge, but our policy requires a prepayment. A guest booked using this link, but when we tried to charge the deposit, the transaction was declined. The guest accused us of fraud despite our clear terms on booking.com. They canceled the reservation, left a 1* review on TripAdvisor without staying, and no payment was processed. We believe the guest's frustration stems from misleading advertising, and we requested TripAdvisor to remove the review without success.
