I recently filed a dispute request (#[redacted]75) to correct the balance on a credit card (THD/CBNA) that I paid off. However, TransUnion has mistakenly removed the entire account from my credit report. This account is under both my husband's and my name as I am an authorized user. I kindly request for the account to be re-added to my credit report promptly and for the balance to be corrected as initially intended.

I have noticed a few old items on my credit report, some going back a decade. I am seeking to have those removed. Additionally, I encountered an issue at WalMart Canada where a cashier mistakenly used the wrong address to charge a purchase to my new card. Despite my attempts to rectify the situation by contacting Walmart, I faced obstacles without the card number. After persistent efforts, I finally obtained the card number, identified the problem, and promptly canceled the card. I believe this incident should not impact my credit score as it was not indicative of my commitment to timely bill payments. Thank you for assisting me with this matter.

In June [redacted], my Bank of America credit card statement showed unauthorized transactions. After disputing the charges, Bank of America credited my account, issued a new card, but refused to dispute one particular charge. Despite my prompt payments for 20 years, they reinstated disputed charges on the new card. The original card number where fraud occurred was 5[redacted] [redacted] 94, and the replacement card was 5[redacted] 7[redacted]. Bank of America's actions have affected my credit reports on Transunion and Experian unfairly. It seems like internal fraud as someone accessed customer records to target specific vendors. I need assistance to correct my credit history with the credit bureaus.

I am inquiring about the alerts on my credit report. I am currently in the process of applying for a rental home, but my application has been rejected due to information from my TransUnion report. Earlier this year, I reported fraudulent activity, which I believe is impacting my current credit situation. I have limited open credit accounts due to significant student loan debt. I suspect the alerts may be affecting my rental applications as two properties have already expressed this concern. I recently attempted to address this through the automated system, inadvertently adding a new alert between 10:30-10:50 a.m. I would like existing alerts removed and prefer not to escalate the issue with additional alerts. I recently checked my credit reports. As of today, my Transunion score is [redacted], Equifax is [redacted], and Experian is [redacted]. However, I applied for a loan at Wright Patt credit union, and they pulled my credit yesterday, stating my score is [redacted]. This [redacted]-point difference is causing significant issues as I urgently need a car. I believe my score is accurately reflected in the Transunion report I just obtained. I need assistance resolving this discrepancy with Wright Patt so they can access the correct score.

Capital One Credit Wise notified me about an inquiry on my credit report from CBNA located at [redacted] Las Colinas Boulevard in Irving, TX. I haven't applied for credit or loans in four years, so I'm concerned about this inquiry and want to identify the source. I placed a Fraud Alert with TransUnion on 11/15/21. I've spent today trying to find a contact number for CBNA without success. Both Community Bank and Citibank confirmed it wasn't them, and Comenity Bank also denied any involvement. My Credit Score dropped by 2 points due to a $[redacted] increase in my Master Card balance, as indicated by Credit Karma. I am perplexed by this since I consistently pay my bills early and often overpay my credit balance. I have been a Master Card holder since [redacted], I am retired, and my credit limit is $20,[redacted]. I am debt-free, own my home and vehicles outright. This situation highlights an illogical connection between spending habits and Credit Scores. Using my Master Card for convenience should not affect my score negatively. It seems unfair to penalize individuals for responsible credit use. The correlation between Transunion Credit Score and bill payment methods is questionable. It's important to review and revise such policies to align with common sense and fairness.

Please correct my credit information for my auto loan ending in [redacted], which was refinanced by Penfed Credit, and Firstbank mistakenly applied the auto balance check to the principal. I sent a letter to Firstbank requesting to correct this error. They sent me a notification stating that the 30-day delinquencies on my credit history for August and September [redacted] were removed from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion agencies for the vehicle Yarus [redacted]. The loan was paid off on November 1, [redacted]. Additionally, the $[redacted].00 charge from Spring is not valid as it was transferred to the phone company Claro, which was fully paid. I was unexpectedly charged $27.99 by TransUnion for something I didn't knowingly order. I thought it was a free annual service and cannot afford this charge on my limited income. Please refund the money and cancel whatever I was charged for. As a smart senior, I feel misled and would like this resolved promptly.

I have two Target cards, one for J. G. and one for D. G. TransUnion mentioned an active card with Target affecting J.'s credit but Target stated there are no active cards. Could you fix this issue? Why does not using a card negatively impact credit? My American Express card has also not been used for years. Would this affect my credit too? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I recently applied for an Amazon credit card and unfortunately was denied due to a discrepancy in my credit score. The decision letter from Synchrony bank indicated a score of [redacted] based on TransUnion's Vantage Score 3.0, while when I checked my score directly with TransUnion, it was reported as [redacted] - a significant difference of [redacted] points. I've made several calls seeking clarification on this issue but encountered difficulties. Two representatives were not trained to handle credit scores and were unable to assist, one advised me to contact Synchrony (which led to no resolution), and another simply repeated scripted information without addressing my concerns. Despite my efforts, I have yet to receive a clear explanation for the conflicting scores provided to Synchrony bank and myself. This has left me feeling frustrated and confused after hours of back-and-forth communication without any progress.

I've been attempting to unlock my TransUnion credit report since before Christmas for my lender. Despite successfully unlocking it, it keeps getting shut down, possibly by my Norton/LifeLock or someone else. Each time I call and enter the correct information, TransUnion claims it is incorrect and hangs up on me, which is frustrating. I prefer speaking with a person rather than dealing with the AI system. I have cleared all my debts after being referred to the bureau in December of last year on the 18th. I am currently trying to reach TransUnion to verify if they have updated my information. However, their landline continually puts me on hold. I simply need to ensure that my name is correctly updated in their system. Despite settling my account in December [redacted], I am still encountering issues when applying for a loan as my information seems outdated. The 20-30 working day timeframe for updating a client has passed, and I am confused as to why my information has not been processed yet.

There is fraudulent activity with Citizens Bank, currently under investigation. There are two related collection agencies, Systems Transmetal and Mercantile, with issues from Citizens Bank. I had dismissed traffic citations and other matters that need addressing. I am working on obtaining the necessary documentation. I am requesting a security freeze promptly without any inquiries and only the last four digits of my Social Security displayed. I was instructed to send a cover letter providing specific details, along with a "photocopy" of my Driver’s License and a bank statement or utility bill displaying my new name and address. Unfortunately, the term "photocopy" led to confusion regarding how to provide this documentation. I seek clarification on what format is acceptable.
