In late [redacted] or early [redacted], while shopping at Sam's Club, I was offered a Sam's credit card at the register. I agreed and was approved for the card. I have been a Sam's Club member since [redacted], with my address originally being Rt 1 Box [redacted]-1 Redfield, Ar. [redacted]. Later, due to the introduction of [redacted] addresses, my address changed to [redacted] Sanders Rd Redfield, Ar. [redacted], which is the same location. Unfortunately, when the statement for my purchases was sent out, it went to my old address and I did not receive it. Consequently, the account became past due without my knowledge. As soon as I discovered this, I paid the full amount immediately. It was a series of unfortunate events. I am seeking guidance on how to rectify this situation and have the derogatory mark removed from my credit report. The account in question is SYNCB/SAMSDC/[redacted]D.

My social security number was compromised through a message on my computer pretending to be from Windows Defender. I mistakenly gave one bank's customer service number to the scammer who then contacted me, pretending to be from my bank. They requested my SS# which I unfortunately provided initially, but realized it was a scam before sharing my bank account details. I disconnected the call. The scammer persistently called me back five times. I immediately contacted TIAA to freeze my account and they may have updated my account numbers. I am planning to visit the banks involved tomorrow. I'm an 82-year-old with a spotless financial record and a credit score over [redacted]. I once had a credit card with a $20,[redacted] limit that I decided to cancel when I retired, as I felt I had too many cards. Recently, when I requested a credit limit increase on one of my remaining cards, I was denied due to information on my credit report. I have been a victim of identity theft according to TransUnion. The issue has impacted me since [redacted]. I have discovered warrants for my arrest due to this. My credit has been negatively affected since I was 13 years old. My step-grandfather and grandmother have unlawfully used my identity. They have put all their cars in my name and taken out multiple credit cards in my name, damaging my credit. Whenever I dispute these accounts, my grandparents reopen them and falsely claim the accounts are valid. They have a history of fraud. I require help to freeze my late husband's credit report. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in [redacted], and there was an attempt to apply for a Citi Mastercard in his name. Luckily, the application was declined because of "too many recent credit inquiries" on his Experian report. I have now placed a freeze on his credit file with Experian and Equifax and wish to do the same with TransUnion.

My Facebook account has been hijacked by someone who is using my name, profile picture, and personal photos. They are requesting money from my friends and adding new people. I have been unable to regain access because they changed the email associated with the account. Despite reporting this issue to Facebook twice daily, I have received responses stating that it does not violate community standards. It is frustrating that they seem to be allowing identity theft on their platform.

I require assistance from TransUnion to resolve issues with Royal Bank and CITIFINANCIAL. Royal Bank insists the account in question was closed, despite TransUnion showing it as open. The balance is $0, but the status is inaccurately reported.
Regarding CITIFINANCIAL, TransUnion shows two open accounts with a $0 balance each, last reported in [redacted] and [redacted]. CITIFINANCIAL advised me to obtain the account numbers from TransUnion so they can officially close these accounts.

I am facing an issue where a mix-up has occurred due to sharing the same name with someone else. Upon attempting to create an account, I receive an error message stating the information doesn't match. Additionally, my calls get disconnected when I try to seek help. I have discovered the other individual's name, age, location, and relatives' names, but I am unable to communicate this to TransUnion as the system only accepts his details, making it impossible to reach a real person for assistance. Despite trying various numbers, the problem persists, and I am willing to pay in order to clarify the situation.

I encountered an issue when attempting to open an account as I was informed that I already had one. It has been so long since I last used it that I do not recall my login details. Upon contacting customer service and opting to speak with a representative, I was repeatedly disconnected after being notified of a problem. When opting for the text option, I received a document that I could not open, even after several attempts. Despite alerting them to this, I was simply sent the same document again. Unfortunately, they have not transferred me to a human and have advised me to try again later due to a potential glitch. I followed their suggestion and called the following day, but encountered the same issues. I am eager to speak with a human representative to either retrieve my login information or create a new account. My main goal is to engage in a conversation with an actual person regarding this matter.

I recently reviewed my Trans Union credit report and noticed that my JP Morgan Chase bank account has been closed, affecting my credit score negatively by approximately 30 points. The account was originally for a leased vehicle under a call Lisa agreement, which has since been converted into a purchase with the new lienholder being Space Coast Credit Union. It is crucial that this closure is accurately reported as it may currently appear as a forced closure. I fulfilled all payments on the lease agreement, and this should be reflected correctly on my credit report. I would appreciate a call to discuss this issue further.

I was just contacted by Bank of America about two credit card applications opened in my name in April [redacted]. They placed fraud alerts and suggested contacting you to add a phone alert and join all three fraud alert agencies for added protection.

I recently noticed that TransUnion has updated my address incorrectly, causing confusion with my accounts. This address has been consistent for 12 years as both my physical and mailing address. Despite reaching out to TransUnion and waiting on hold for 30 minutes, I was abruptly disconnected without a resolution. This incorrect change has led to my bills being sent to an unfamiliar and unsafe address, prompting unnecessary notifications to update my information. My driver's license, passport, and banking accounts all reflect my original address, and this sudden discrepancy is alarming.

I found some unfamiliar collections on my credit report that I did not open or recognize.
I just spoke with Equifax, and they identified three accounts in collections that were not opened by me. The first one is with South West Recovery Service for $[redacted], opened in June [redacted]. The second account is with Southwest Credit Systems for $[redacted], also opened in June [redacted], which I was informed is an international credit card I am unaware of. The third account with Medical Commercial Audit for $[redacted] was opened in June of the same year.
I have been on Medicaid due to being a full-time caretaker for my partner, who recently passed away, and have no medical bills. I am puzzled as to why my credit score is decreasing when I consistently pay my credit card and student loans on time every month. It seems my personal information may have been compromised.

I need to verify if TransUnion has my correct name on file. When I applied for a loan, my credit check linked my SS# [redacted]-60-[redacted] to the name Sandra B Giles, which is incorrect. Furthermore, the report erroneously listed me as deceased. My correct name associated with the Social Security number is Sandra V Bowser Giles. This mistake is causing significant issues as it may jeopardize a considerable deposit I placed on a motorhome at Lemke RV in Rocklin, CA. My Capital One account ending in [redacted] was reported delinquent, but I also have another Capital One account that should have been linked to a single login. I received an online payment notification for the second account, but when I logged in, it showed a $0.00 balance. I didn't pay because of this, leading to the delinquency. My payment history is excellent, with larger payments than the minimum. After speaking with Capital One and resolving the issue on their end, I kindly request to update my credit score. My credit score recently increased by 32 points, and I received positive notes from Credit Karma congratulating me for paying all my payments on time and having 41 open accounts in good standing. However, inexplicably, my score then dropped by 89 points. This sudden change was alarming, especially considering my heart condition. I have been diligently working to improve my credit after making three major purchases, and it had been steadily increasing until this unexpected drop.
