I have encountered issues with my Tinder accounts being banned twice now. The initial ban seemed to be triggered by a user feeling offended when I pointed out their mistake. The second ban, however, appears to be without any logical explanation.
I am puzzled by why Tinder, a company focused on generating revenue from paid users, would prioritize the sensitivity of a few over their financial gains. It is concerning and unclear why my second account faced a ban.
Creating a new account is quick, taking less than 5 minutes, but I am hesitant to support a company that seems trigger-happy with bans. I seek a genuine explanation for the repeated bans rather than a generic reference to terms and conditions. This situation has soured the experience for me and others I know who have abandoned Tinder due to similar issues.
Thank you.

I logged into my account and was surprised to find out that I have been banned unexpectedly. I haven't received any explanation regarding which rule I violated. I have been a Tinder user for many years without any issues. I'm unsure if my ban is related to my shirtless photos, especially considering that there are females with revealing outfits on the app. I am a Calisthenic Athlete in the Army who is proud of my physique, and my profile doesn't contain any inappropriate content. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan, which might be causing some issues with my account. I would appreciate it if you could lift the ban on my account as I believe I haven't broken any rules. I hope to resolve this matter soon as I am looking forward to finding dates once I return home in a couple of weeks.

I'm feeling quite upset and frustrated at the moment because I've lost access to my Tinder account. This means I've lost the opportunity to reconnect with the people I was having great conversations with, which is really disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to recover my account by following the usual Tinder procedures, such as requesting an SMS code, I've had no luck. It's frustrating that there isn't an option to recover the account using just an email address instead of a phone number. I even tried creating a new account to lift my spirits, but now it's not showing any profiles in my area. The new account is also limiting me to only four pictures, though that seems irrelevant since I can't use the account to connect with others anyway.

Good morning,
I am reaching out to Tinder regarding a concerning situation. Recently, I discovered that my brother, Christopher Wilson from Orlando, FL, has uploaded a picture of me onto his Tinder profile without my consent. Despite my attempts to have it removed through my mother, he has refused. This breach of my privacy is distressing, and I am considering legal action. Before proceeding further, I would like to understand Tinder's policies on unauthorized photo usage by users. I urge Tinder to consider implementing stricter measures to prevent such privacy violations in the future. Thank you for addressing this serious issue promptly.

I tried to renew my Tinder Gold subscription last night, but I was surprised to find out that my account has been banned. I don't understand why this has happened as I haven't broken any rules. The photos and bio on my profile were all suitable, and I only had one conversation with another user about work. It's frustrating to see other profiles with inappropriate content still active while mine got banned. I would like to request the reactivation of my account as I believe it was unjustly banned.
- Thanks.

Upon attempting to log into Tinder, I was informed that my account has been banned for supposedly violating the platform's rules and regulations. I am taken aback by this as I have not knowingly breached any guidelines. I maintained a peaceful and respectful presence while using the app, engaging with a limited number of people.
Given this situation, I require Tinder to substantiate their claim against me by presenting concrete evidence of the alleged rule violations in writing. My account is linked to the phone number [redacted].
I kindly request that Tinder presents the evidence supporting their accusation within 30 days of this communication, or sooner if possible. Failure to provide such evidence may lead me to take legal action against Tinder, potentially involving the CEO, based on suspicions of fraudulent practices. Should Tinder fail to meet the specified deadline, I urge them to rectify the error and unban my account.
Respectfully, Soul of Jesus Christ's Consciousness.

I recently bought a 6-month Tinder Gold package for [redacted] INR. The amount was deducted from my account, as confirmed by the bank notification and the transaction appearing on my statement. However, I received a message from the Tinder app stating that my bank does not allow recurring payments, leading to the transaction being canceled without receiving the Tinder pack. I am now seeking a refund for the amount deducted. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently had pleasant conversations with two lovely girls on Tinder, named Noelia, 19, and Julia, 20. Unfortunately, the conversations suddenly disappeared while I was about to meet one of them. Despite receiving notifications from them, I'm unable to view or respond to any messages when I click on them. I would greatly appreciate being rematched with these girls or receiving assistance to continue our conversations. It's frustrating to receive notifications without the ability to reply, and I feel disheartened that they are waiting for my response. My Tinder name is Cedric, 19. I hope to hear from you soon to resolve this matter. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Hello, I recently discovered that my old Tinder account is inaccessible because my previous phone, along with the sim card, is currently held at a police station for pending legal matters. I won't be able to retrieve my phone for about four months due to ongoing investigations. Since I also deleted my linked Facebook account two weeks ago, traditional account recovery methods won't work for me. My Instagram account is associated with this old Tinder profile, and I am hoping to reconnect them. I can provide proof of ownership using invoice documents or my ID card to verify the old phone number and my identity. Any assistance you could provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I have been struggling to receive a refund for a subscription that I have not used since signing up three years ago. Despite not using the account, Tinder has been deducting money from my bank account. Google advised me to contact you for the refund. It is frustrating as I have not logged in since signing up. Additionally, my bank charged me a $50 overdraft fee due to this situation. I am requesting a refund for the amount that was taken from my bank account after canceling my subscription.

I woke up one day to discover my account was banned. This occurred after I revealed the presence of one of my friend's partners on the app, causing tension in their relationship. I apologize for my error in disclosing this information. I promise not to repeat this mistake. Kindly consider reinstating my account with the email [redacted], phone number [redacted], and my full name Alec C. Slawson. I believe I have not committed a severe offense and have addressed the situation with the other parties involved. Thank you for your understanding.

I would like Tinder to delete my current account so that I can open a new one and purchase Tinder Gold. I recently changed my phone number but forgot to update it on my account. When I tried to log in, I didn't receive the code on my new number. I then tried using my email, but the link didn't work. Despite my attempts, I couldn't create a new account as the system recognized my existing one. I'm hoping my current account can be deleted, allowing me to use the payment I made recently for another year.

I have an old Tinder account linked to Instagram that I can't access due to losing my phone at the police station. They have my phone for a month, and I won't be using that number again. I deleted the Tinder account and the linked Facebook account two weeks ago. I need help restoring the account as it is also connected to my Instagram. I can provide proof of ownership with invoice papers or my ID for the old phone number. Can you help me? The Instagram account linked to Tinder is "psywalker_3".

Dear Support Team,
I am reaching out for assistance regarding a concerning situation. After being accused of being on Tinder by my partner's colleague, it has led to the unfortunate end of our 2-year relationship. Being 73 years old, I am not very tech-savvy and have no recollection of ever being on Tinder, creating a profile, or uploading a photo. I vaguely recall using RSVP's browse free feature in the past but cannot confirm doing the same with Tinder.
To add to the confusion, my son, Trent K., visiting from the UK, used my phone to set up his own Tinder account in Australia. When I tried to access the site and received a code on my phone, it led me to my son's account, not mine. According to him, finding me on Tinder without a profile photo would be challenging, as users would need to sift through numerous profiles within age categories.
I kindly request your assistance in verifying whether there is or has ever been a Tinder account associated with my details. This situation has been distressing for both my partner and me.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Warm regards,
Brian K.

I have used Tinder for years without any issues until recently. Towards the end of October [redacted], during a trip to Toronto, I connected with a girl from the city with whom I chatted for a while, although we never met in person. She expressed interest in visiting me in Vancouver, my hometown. As time passed, her intentions seemed to be moving towards staying with me, which I was not comfortable with. When I conveyed my feelings, she reacted negatively despite us never meeting face-to-face, only communicating via phone chats and occasional video calls.
After I distanced myself from her, she persistently contacted me from various numbers, prompting me to block her on Tinder. A few days later, I attempted to log in only to discover that my account had been banned.
I am a single guy hoping to rejoin the dating scene in Vancouver and would greatly appreciate help in getting my account unbanned. Thank you!

I believe I have been mistakenly banned and found the customer service to be very unhelpful and rude. I updated my bio with a light-hearted comment to potentially get more matches, but was shocked to find out I was banned shortly after. I reached out to customer support but received unsatisfactory responses that felt automated and dismissive. I even tried emailing but never received a reply. As a paying customer, I expected better treatment. I hope for a proper review of my account to see there was no wrongdoing. I am frustrated and disappointed with the lack of assistance I have received so far, hoping for a more helpful response this time.

Hello,
I wanted to report a serious security issue I recently encountered. My old account has been compromised, and the individual who gained access has been reaching out to contacts from my previous chats. This breach occurred because your platform only requires a phone number for login, which is not secure as numbers can easily change hands. To address this matter promptly, I am requesting that all accounts linked to the number [redacted] be deactivated. The unauthorized user is engaging in inappropriate communication, posing a threat to my privacy and security. To prevent further incidents, I urge you to take immediate action in removing any accounts associated with the mentioned phone number.
The email likely connected to my compromised accounts is [redacted]
I insist on a revision of your login procedures to enhance security measures.
Thank you,
Veronika Goncharova

Dear Sir,
I am troubled as to why my Tinder account has been disabled. I am disheartened because I have always followed the terms and conditions. I have never uploaded inappropriate pictures or used offensive language. I suspect someone might have reported me out of spite because I wasn't interested in them. Therefore, I kindly request the Tinder management to review all my past interactions to verify if I have breached any rules or used inappropriate language.
Please conduct your investigation, and if I am indeed in good standing as I believe I am, kindly reactivate my paid account and take action against those members who have falsely reported me.
Best regards.
