I am inquiring about the status of my tax return as I filed my federal taxes on April 7, [redacted], but have yet to receive any updates regarding my refund. It is currently June 25, [redacted], and I am unable to reach a live person at the IRS for assistance. My father, who resides in Georgia, is also experiencing delays with his federal and state returns. We have both checked online, only to see that our returns are still being processed. I am concerned about the delay in receiving my tax refund, especially since some individuals have already received theirs. As taxpayers, we rely on these funds to cover expenses, and the wait is unprecedented for me, as I have never experienced such a delay with an electronically filed return before.

I filed my [redacted] tax return during the pandemic and I suspect I made errors. I submitted proof of healthcare coverage promptly upon request but have not received any updates since. Despite numerous call attempts, I have been unable to reach the IRS due to high call volumes. I also need to address changes in care payments and know that the amendment process may be delayed until the end of summer. Before having my tax preparer resubmit my [redacted] taxes, I need to confirm the status of my original return with the IRS.

It has been 5 months, and I still have not received my tax refund. The IRS keeps stating it is processing. Despite numerous attempts to reach them through their phone number, I have been unsuccessful. I managed to speak to someone in early May who assured me I would receive my refund within 6 weeks, around June. Now that June is coming to an end, I am frustrated as the promise seems unfulfilled. It is almost July, which marks 6 months without my tax refund. With news of another stimulus in July, I am concerned about further delays. I am incredibly upset and frustrated by this situation. I request my hard-earned money promptly, just as the IRS would expect payment if I owed them. Where is my tax refund that I rely on? Please send it to me without further delay.

I have learned that once I file for my stimulus refund and verify that it is in process, it is recommended to inquire about the status after 20-30 days if I haven't received it. Can my stimulus delay be escalated to get more information on the wait time? I am unsure if my mailing address listed is correct as it dates back to my [redacted] tax filing at [redacted] Left Fork Bull Creek, Prestonsburg, KY, [redacted]. This is not my current address, and I have concerns about mail being compromised due to property issues with my family. My father admitted to manipulating property titles without my knowledge, which has caused confusion and issues. There are suspicions that my father may have interfered with my tax filings and possibly my stimulus check, as he has control over others' finances. I appreciate any assistance or advice you can provide in this situation. Thank you for your consideration.

We had our taxes initially filed as Married Filing Separately, but due to an error, our tax person submitted an amended return as Married Filing Jointly which was accepted by the IRS on May 10th. Despite having proof of delivery to Fresno, CA, the IRS only acknowledges the first two filings, causing confusion with refunds and amounts owed. We are now meant to receive a $95.00 refund as per the corrected return. Unfortunately, upon verification, my husband received a letter regarding the initial filing. We mistakenly affirmed the single return online, not the corrected one. Seeking guidance on rectifying this, unsure if I should pay the amount owed and wait for a refund after correction. Attempts to reach the IRS have been unsuccessful.

Hello, I have encountered issues with my tax return, prompting the IRS to request identity verification. Despite attempting to verify online, I was instructed to contact a specific individual for assistance. Unfortunately, even after dialing the recommended number ([redacted]) repeatedly over the past two months, I have been unable to reach anyone. The automated message abruptly disconnects due to high call volumes, hindering my ability to resolve this matter promptly. This delay is causing significant setbacks for my tax refunds and stimulus payments, which I urgently need as a student. With limited time and dwindling alternatives, I may have no choice but to visit an IRS office in person to secure an appointment. The situation is becoming increasingly frustrating, and any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. S.W.

Subject: Need Assistance with IRS Identity Verification Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to address an issue with my identity verification as a taxpayer for the year [redacted]. My name is Agustin N. Bonaparte Jr., and I submitted my [redacted] tax return electronically through TurboTax in March [redacted]. I recently received a letter from the IRS (LTR 5071C) requesting verification of my identity. I have attempted to complete this process online, but I am unable to provide the required financial documentation for verification. I have also tried contacting the IRS at 1-[redacted] multiple times over the past month, only to encounter a high call volume message followed by a disconnection. I kindly request assistance in finding an alternate contact number or guidance on how to successfully fulfill the IRS's verification requirements. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, Agustin N. Bonaparte Jr.

I am seeking guidance on handling Medicaid Waiver [redacted]-7 on my tax returns for [redacted] to [redacted]. Despite researching online, I am uncertain about my situation and hesitant to file amended returns without clarification. Years ago, I was advised I did not qualify for an exemption, so taxes were deducted from my pay. I have since learned I am exempt and have updated my forms. Before proceeding with amended returns, I wish to confirm this with the IRS. Additionally, I am unsure if this exemption applies to Social Security, Medicaid, and federal withholding tax as a provider for my adult son residing in my home. I appreciate your swift assistance and response to my queries. Best regards, B.K.D. Sherwood, AR

Since February [redacted], I have been living in Ireland as a US and Irish citizen, without working in the US or returning. Recently, I unexpectedly received my W2 wage summaries for 2[redacted], which must have been lost in the mail. As a single parent in financial need, I believe I am owed a refund. This situation has left me baffled. I attempted to reach out to my former employer, who had sold the business with no forwarding details, adding to my predicament. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with filing for my refund under these circumstances. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Molly S.

I am inquiring about the status of my [redacted] tax return, which I submitted over a year ago. I have contacted the IRS three times and each time I was informed that it is still being processed. The first contact was in November [redacted] when I was scheduled for an in-person identity verification in Las Vegas in early January [redacted]. I was advised that it might take three to four months for processing. In late April [redacted], I was told to wait another 30 days after inquiring about my return. Again in early June [redacted], I was assured I would receive a letter or a check within the next 30 days. Despite all the follow-ups, as of July [redacted], I have yet to receive any update on my [redacted] federal income tax return. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter and obtaining information about the status of my return.

My name is Amanuel F. and my wife is Tahsas B. Our taxes were prepared by Block Advisors. We received a letter from the IRS on July 5, stating we needed to pay by the same day or risk property seizure. Due to lack of preparedness and funds in our account, we were unable to make the payment yesterday. Our Block Advisors agent, who is our power of attorney, is in communication with the IRS. Unfortunately, all Block Advisors offices are closed this week due to the July 4 holiday. I have reached out via email, but she has yet to see it since her office is closed. I fear the IRS may seize our property before I can connect with her and decide the next steps. Can anyone advise on how to secure an extension until the Block Advisors office reopens for discussion with the agent? Thank you.

Following a joint tax filing and subsequent separation, my husband and I are now living apart. I am currently caring for our three children post-separation and am exploring options regarding the child tax credit. As I am now the primary caregiver, I am seeking to redirect the child tax credit payments to my account and away from my spouse, who has kept the funds thus far. I am in the process of divorcing and navigating child custody issues. Any guidance on changing the direct deposit destination for the child tax credit would be greatly appreciated.

I had a miscommunication which led to filing my [redacted] taxes in March [redacted]. The IRS website still shows my balance as unavailable. Additionally, I found out how to check my balance this year and saw that the [redacted] information was also initially unavailable but now shows that I owe $[redacted] accrued over time. I fear the same issue may happen with my [redacted] taxes. Despite numerous attempts to call the IRS, I receive only automated responses stating they are too busy and then the call ends, leaving me feeling trapped.

I recently received an ID verification form and have been attempting to get verified since March. After finally completing the verification process on Monday, I have been unable to access any information on the IRS website or through any portal, receiving constant messages about not locating my account. There seems to be tax fraud involved, and it appears that the IRS is more focused on preventing individuals from receiving their checks rather than ensuring the correct person is verified. Despite trying the 1-[redacted] number numerous times, I was unable to reach anyone who could help with verification until a kind lady assisted me in July. Even after getting my ID verified, I am still encountering the same issue of the IRS not being able to find my account, which is incredibly frustrating.

I am eligible for the advance Child Tax Credit. I filed my tax return early this year, claiming my 10-year-old daughter to receive our stimulus payment, which we did without any issues. However, the IRS website now states that I am not eligible to receive the advance payments. I need this issue resolved promptly so that I can receive the payments. Our family income is extremely low, as I only receive $[redacted].00 a month in SSI. The portal does not allow me to add or change any information due to the eligibility status.

I am attempting to create an online account but lack the necessary documentation. I have no student loan, mortgage, or car documentation. I have been utilizing EFTPS for tax payments. I aim to establish an account to make payments and view my [redacted] & [redacted] balances. After a frustrating 2-hour wait on the phone, I was given a non-functional help desk number ([redacted]). I must resolve this by July 16th to avoid a fee. I am determined to resolve this issue amidst my frustration, similar to others experiencing the same difficulties.

I recently filed my tax return independently using TurboTax for the first time. The software indicated my refund would be $[redacted], which was accepted by the IRS months ago. However, upon receiving my check recently, it was only a fraction of the expected amount, with additional charges deducted, totaling just $[redacted]. I attempted to contact the IRS multiple times without success to inquire about the discrepancy. Upon speaking to a representative, I learned that I have no outstanding debts that could have caused such a significant reduction in my refund. As a single mother with a 10-year-old dependent, I am confused and concerned about this unexpected change in my refund amount.

I e-filed my [redacted] taxes on April 4, [redacted] with H&R Block, but I have not received my refund yet. My taxes were accurate, and I included the [redacted] stimulus check for $1,[redacted]. I spoke to an IRS agent in December [redacted] who advised me to claim it on my taxes if I had not received it by the end of the year. I am certain I did not get a check for that amount. I am puzzled by the delay in processing my taxes as there should not be any issues. After deducting the $85 H&R Block fee from my total refund of $1,[redacted], I should be receiving $1,[redacted]. I have never experienced such a delay before, and I would appreciate it if someone could look into this further.

I received a final notice about a levy for my [redacted] balance. However, I am unable to pay it without an installment plan. To qualify for the plan, I need to submit four years of past returns first. I'm a bit confused about the IRS instructions, and I haven't been able to access the free taxpayer advocacy service due to high demand in my area. The IRS has mentioned a deadline to file a substitute [redacted] return, but I'm unsure about the exact date. I would appreciate an extension on both the levy and the substitute return deadline. I also need advice on how to utilize the free taxpayer help services.

I recently received a CP14 notice concerning my [redacted] Form [redacted] taxes. The notice stated an amount due, even though I had opted to pay later when filing through TurboTax. TurboTax provided 4 payment vouchers with due dates that I've been using to make payments. I've already sent $[redacted] and $[redacted], but they weren't reflected in the notice. The vouchers show "[redacted] Form [redacted]-ES" for the [redacted] taxes owed. I followed the voucher instructions assuming it was an IRS payment arrangement, but the notice implies otherwise. I'm trying to speak with someone for further assistance.
