I recently received a CP14 notice for my [redacted] Form [redacted] taxes, indicating the amount due. When I used TurboTax to file my taxes, I selected to pay the owed amount later, which came with 4 payment vouchers. I have already made two payments of $[redacted] and $[redacted] using these vouchers, but they are not reflected in the notice I received. The vouchers mention "[redacted] Form [redacted]-ES" but are for the [redacted] taxes. I thought this was a payment plan with the IRS, but the notice suggests otherwise. I have been attempting to contact someone for further assistance.

I have not received my tax return or the $[redacted] stimulus for my daughter. I am in urgent need of the refund since my son is undergoing brain surgery and I cannot afford additional expenses like dog sitters or travel fees. I filled electronically on April 12th, [redacted], and it has been accepted, but it still shows as being processed every day. Without this refund, I won’t be able to accompany my son for his surgery or provide him with what he needs for his recovery, especially since he may have eye-related complications not covered by insurance. I desperately need the money now as I have no other resources left. Your assistance in looking into these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I e-filed my [redacted] tax return in early February [redacted] to claim my missing first stimulus payment (EIP 1). Despite receiving "information not available" messages on the IRS "Get My Payment" tool for months, I recently got a CP13 notice dated May 24, [redacted]. The IRS changed my $1,[redacted] refund claimed for EIP 1 to $0 as they believe I'm not eligible due to filing jointly with my wife, who has an ITIN, not a SSN. I've tried calling IRS customer service with no luck. As a senior citizen and long-time taxpayer, I'm owed the $1,[redacted], rightfully claimed. I urge the IRS to rectify this issue promptly. - AB

We have not yet received our income tax refund from [redacted]. We recently received a letter from the IRS stating code 5071C. We followed the instructions by submitting the IRS ID form and calling the ID verification line, but were informed that the information provided did not match. We have been attempting to schedule an appointment with the IRS for over a month now, but have been unable to get through. We have double-checked all the information entered, including name, birth date, and SSN, and everything seems to be correct. We are concerned that there may be an error somewhere in the process. We would appreciate a prompt response to address this issue. Thank you.

I submitted a recovery rebate through H&R Block, but there seems to be an issue. The refund was sent to them as a tax return for a payment they claimed I owed in [redacted]. Despite having evidence that $[redacted] was withheld, I actually did not owe anything that year. I am concerned as I have not received my $[redacted] refund, which I suspect may have mistakenly been sent as a tax return. There was supposed to be a $1,[redacted] refund instead of $[redacted], leading me to question if the correct amount was sent to H&R Block. Kindly contact me at your earliest convenience as I would like to provide accurate information and require transparency, especially as a mother of two unemployed children who could benefit from the stimulus. Please reach out to me via email or phone at [redacted]. Thank you.

Being on a foreign visa without a social security number, I've been following the investment guidelines of my visa by entrusting a company to manage my investments online. Recently, my account manager advised me to acquire a "Wirex card" from the IRS due to my lack of SSN. I made the purchase as instructed and also sent an additional payment for taxes to a bitcoin wallet address provided, supposedly owned by an IRS agent who facilitates currency exchanges. This situation seems dubious to me, and I'm questioning its legitimacy after falling for it.

I submitted my taxes on May 15, [redacted], and was supposed to receive a refund of $[redacted]. After waiting almost two months for the refund, I checked the status online and found out that it was returned as undeliverable by the post office. I contacted them to update my address as it had changed, and they reissued the refund on June 30th. They assured me it would arrive within five business days, but it has been over two weeks, and I am yet to receive it. The online status still shows the same message as before with Reference #[redacted]. I desperately need the refund to cover my bills like rent since my work hours are limited due to school. If there is a way to have it directly deposited or express mailed, please advise on the necessary steps. Thank you.

I use TurboTax to file my taxes, and each year I list my biological daughter as a dependent. However, TurboTax consistently processes her as an "other dependent," causing issues with my filings. To correct this, I have filled out the necessary child tax forms and sent them in separately for each year, clarifying that she is indeed my biological daughter and not just another type of dependent. I believe this may have impacted my eligibility for the tax credits in [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. Although I attempted to rectify the situation by redoing the forms between February and April of [redacted], I am unsure if the corrections were successful. I am now experiencing difficulties being approved for the $[redacted] tax credit scheduled for July 15. Despite not receiving any approval letter and being deemed ineligible on the website, my daughter, who is 5 years old, should qualify for this credit. I have been trying to resolve these ongoing issues with TurboTax promptly. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Heather M. Mother of Angel B., my biological 5-year-old daughter

My daughter is receiving the child tax credit of $[redacted], but I have legal custody of the children registered in the Monroe, LA courthouse. I am supposed to receive this money to assist in caring for the kids. Unfortunately, my daughter, who lives with a criminal using meth, wrongly claimed the children on her taxes last year. Despite reporting this, no action has been taken. I will be submitting documentation and court papers again next week to address this issue. The children need this money for school, clothing, and especially for the special needs of my 6-year-old with autism. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated by both myself and the children.

I did not receive my stimulus payments because I accidentally had someone claim me as a dependent. I spoke with a representative who explained that this was the reason for the issue. I was advised to wait until tax filing season to claim the Recovery Rebate. However, after filing for the rebate, I have not received it and the online status shows as unavailable. When calling the IRS, I am unable to proceed after entering my personal information. I am trying to determine the underlying problem. Additionally, I indicated on the Recovery Rebate form that no one can claim me as a dependent this time. I am unsure if this impacted my eligibility for the third stimulus payment. Seeking guidance on next steps or who to contact for assistance.

I e-filed my [redacted] taxes and received a refund of $[redacted], but I did not get my $[redacted] stimulus check. The IRS initially said the payment was sent to the wrong address, and then adjusted my taxes to remove it. When checking the automated system, it showed that the $[redacted] was reissued to me in April, but I never received it in my direct deposit account. I am unsure where the payment is and would like assistance in resolving this issue and ensuring my information is correct. Any guidance on the next steps would be appreciated.

I submitted my tax return on March 12, [redacted], and it was initially processing until it was pulled due to law changes a week later. As of late July [redacted], it is still processing, and I am concerned because the oldest returns should be processed first. I am puzzled as to why I did not receive the advanced child tax credit payment when everyone around me did. I am a single mom supporting three qualifying kids with no child support, and my bank account information remains the same. I urgently need the IRS to prioritize processing my return or issue the refund amount, even if it means I might lose some additional money related to unemployment benefits I received. This delay is severely impacting me financially, leaving me struggling to cover bills as I anticipated my refund at the end of March.

I have received the first two stimulus checks, but the third one, which was scheduled to be shipped on April 2nd to my old address, never arrived. I was informed by GET MY PAYMENT that I needed to set up direct deposit but I am having trouble verifying my identity as I haven't filed taxes in years due to being homeless and then starting fresh after serving time in prison. I am unable to order a transcript online or create an account without this information. I have requested a transcript by mail, but I can only select my old address which is no longer valid. It is crucial for me to receive this payment to prevent losing everything I have worked for. Please assist me with resolving this issue.

I have yet to receive the $1,[redacted] and $[redacted] stimulus checks. I recently discovered they were sent to my old address without my knowledge. I contacted the IRS phone line and completed a 2[redacted] form regarding this issue. After receiving a letter for identity verification, I spent five hours on the phone resolving it. Even though I was told the problem was resolved, the information has not been updated in their system. I completed this process on Friday the 16th, speaking with 3 to 4 representatives. I am awaiting confirmation that my new address is updated so that the first and second stimulus checks can be reissued to me, with the third one as well if approved.

I mailed my paper return for [redacted] since I didn't receive a PIN number. I've been disabled since October [redacted]. It has now been 10 weeks, soon to be 11 weeks since I sent it. I called before sending it and was told I was identified. I have my PIN papers from previous years when I last worked in [redacted]. I am puzzled by the delay since the IRS did not provide me with the PIN. I haven't changed my address and I receive Social Security benefits in the same account. Please assist me with this matter.

On 06/07/21, I observed a Post Dated Debit of $58.41 from my checking account with the Description: Debit acct. tracing ID #[redacted]4 for a payment dated 04/07/21 to Payee Earl Shiply / IRS Treas FDES NMO [redacted] [redacted]. The Merchant Name aligns with this information. The Transaction category is listed as Uncategorized. Upon contacting my bank, they indicated it was related to the IRS without further explanation. Subsequently, after a lengthy 4-hour wait with the IRS, they clarified it was a stimulus check issue and advised us to call the U.S. Treasury. The U.S. Treasury redirected us back to the IRS. In July [redacted], we received a letter from Bank of America stating that the U.S. Treasury mistakenly deposited $[redacted].00 into our account, which was subsequently returned on June 30, [redacted]. Despite this, we have not experienced any withdrawal from our account as claimed by the U.S. Treasury. We request clarification on this matter and appreciate your prompt assistance. Thank you, Linda & John C. Sr.

Hello, my name is Robert Mason. Unfortunately, there have been ongoing issues with my direct deposit information for both stimulus checks. The initial problem resulted in a delay in receiving the payment, which eventually bounced back from the bank. Although attempts have been made to correct the issue, my tax return was only recently processed due to a finance company holding the payment. The current concern is that the direct deposit details are still incorrect, leading to missed payments, including the advanced child tax credit. To address this, I would like to request that the incorrect direct deposit information be removed from the system entirely, and instead, a paper check be mailed to me. Your assistance in resolving these matters is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I am looking forward to a prompt resolution.

My former spouse and I have outstanding taxes from 2[redacted]. According to our divorce agreement, he is responsible for the tax debt from 2[redacted], while we agreed to split the [redacted] taxes. Originally, the [redacted] taxes were around $3,[redacted] but later adjusted by the IRS to approximately $19,[redacted] due to penalties, possibly linked to a $34,[redacted] canceled debt that our accountant deemed non-taxable since we were insolvent with no assets. Communication with the IRS regarding this matter has been challenging. Since our divorce in [redacted], I have faced financial difficulties, especially due to COVID-19 impacting my business for 10 weeks, while my ex's income remained unaffected as he could work from home. Additionally, he now resides in his girlfriend's home with a combined income exceeding $[redacted],[redacted] annually. I seek to be released from liability for the 2[redacted] tax debts and settle my share of the original [redacted] debt through the offer in compromise program. According to the IRS assessment tool, I qualify as an ideal candidate with a suggested offer amount of $1,[redacted], whereas it indicated my ex could afford to pay the entire debt. My request is to have the IRS separate my responsibility from my ex's for the combined debt, allowing me to address my part as determined by our divorce decree.

While I am currently overseas, I received a notification from the embassy regarding an outstanding debt of $75,[redacted] owed to the IRS for the [redacted] tax year. During this period, I was unwell with a chronic illness, leading to minimal work. My ex-wife handled our tax filings at that time, holding high-ranking positions in companies like Genentech and being well-compensated. I suspect she may have inaccurately reported information on our joint tax return, as we were in a Community property state. I aim to apply for Innocent Spouse Relief, but my memory of that timeframe is hazy, hindering my ability to recall our financial situation or her filing details. Despite attempting to access IRS financial records online, I am unable to complete the registration process due to not owning current assets in the country. How should I proceed with submitting the Innocent Spouse Relief form?

My [redacted] taxes were submitted by a tax preparer in March/April [redacted]. The IRS has requested I resend my documents as the electronic file was unreadable. The "where is my payment" tool shows my $[redacted] refund scheduled for deposit on April 7, [redacted], to a bank account ending in [redacted], which I do not recognize. I contacted Bank of America, and they advised speaking with an IRS representative to confirm the release of funds. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter urgently. Kindly respond promptly to my concern. Thank you. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss further details with a live agent.
