I submitted my [redacted] taxes (Form [redacted]) in February [redacted] and was asked to provide my W-2 in late March or early April, which I promptly did. I am eager to know when I can expect my refund to be processed. Additionally, I have not received my stimulus check yet. Can you please inform me when the IRS plans to distribute those funds? I have attempted to contact the IRS four times regarding these matters, but unfortunately, each time I have been disconnected after a lengthy wait. It has been more than six weeks now, and I am feeling the financial strain. Your prompt assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I submitted my [redacted] Tax Return using TurboTax in March. It was accepted by both the federal and state tax authorities two business days later. Despite requesting direct deposit, I have not received my tax refund after four months. All the helplines I've contacted have not provided any assistance. I verified my bank information multiple times and it is accurate. The IRS' Where's My Refund tool indicates that my return is still being processed. While others I know received their refunds within two weeks, I'm still waiting. I'm frustrated as I haven't received my stimulus payment either. I'm seeking advice or assistance regarding this matter. Thank you.

I am having difficulty locating some important documents. Earlier this year, my husband, aged 81, was hospitalized, and we are still in the process of obtaining or replacing these papers. Based on our estimated net income of $72,[redacted] from various sources including Social Security and retirement plans/IRAs, we usually receive a small tax refund, except for last year when we had to pay a small amount due to changes in tax deductions. Since I retired in June [redacted], I requested additional tax payments be withheld to avoid owing too much at tax time. Our household consists of seven people, including two elderly and disabled individuals, two adults with ADHD, one of whom is on disability, and two children. Our paperwork is disorganized, and contacting the different income sources, especially during the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, has been challenging. I downloaded form [redacted] to file an extension, but I am unsure about the next steps online. I would appreciate speaking with a representative for guidance.

I missed the filing deadline and am still figuring out how to send my return. I was prepared to file except for the $4,[redacted] owed this year. On the 16th, I made a $1,[redacted] payment through taxusa.com. The following day, I transferred $3,[redacted] from savings to checking and tried to send the remaining tax amount using my bank card, but it was denied by the bank. While resolving this issue, please understand I have been trying to file since earlier this week and plan to request a payment plan for the balance owed. Note that my email is under my maiden name, but I use my married name otherwise. Thank you, Christine Conner.

I have been attempting to acquire my [redacted] tax transcript for a week now. Unfortunately, the nearby IRS offices are closed due to covid-19. Despite numerous failed attempts to reach them by phone, the automated system informs me that due to the high call volumes, they are unable to assist me with this crucial issue. I've also tried obtaining the document online, providing all the necessary information. However, when using my car loan details to access it, the system claims the account number I've entered doesn't match their records, despite it being accurate. This is causing me considerable distress as this information is urgently required. My daughter is in the process of registering for her fall college classes, and the institution insists she needs this particular information.

I need guidance on which tax form to use. Should I use Form [redacted]-NR? 1. As a Canadian Citizen who hasn't resided in the U.S. since [redacted], am I considered a non-resident alien? Can I utilize Form [redacted]-NR for my [redacted] tax return? 2. Although separated from my husband since [redacted] without a legal agreement, should I still file as married? 3. Handling the sale of a property in Nevada, USA apart from my former spouse, do I split the proceeds and expenses equally for my tax return submission? 4. How do I report property depreciation in my taxes? When should I start the calculation? 5. Form [redacted], [redacted], or Schedule D – which one to use? 6. For mortgage interest on a Canadian property I obtained, should I calculate up to April [redacted] since the property was sold that year? 7. If I can't determine the loan's starting balance, can I estimate it for calculating the mortgage interest? 8. Can I deduct the estimated $2,[redacted] spent on property improvements from the sale proceeds without receipts?

I have been waiting for my stimulus check. I spoke with a representative twice. The last time I spoke with a lady, she requested information that does not apply to my situation. Specifically, she asked for details from a W2 form, but as a divorced homemaker living on spousal support until January [redacted], and then doing odd jobs until the pandemic, those details were not relevant. Recently, my purse was stolen from a local hotel that has now closed. When it happened, I asked the front desk clerk to call the police, but he refused, claiming they do not involve the police in such incidents. Subsequently, I had to replace my ID. I suspect identity theft might be the issue, especially considering the rampant problem we had in the area back then. I am uncertain how to rectify this to secure my identity, receive the stimulus payment, and most importantly, involve the authorities to catch the culprit.

I recently received a notification from my bank, NFCU, regarding an attempted unauthorized electronic transfer of $3,[redacted].00 to the IRS from my joint checking account with Steven and Teresita Flinn. Fortunately, the transfer was denied due to insufficient funds, and a $29.00 service charge was imposed. After contacting NFCU to dispute the transaction, they refunded the service charge. Upon checking my IRS account online, I confirmed a zero balance for all tax years and also downloaded my transcripts. I suspect this was a fraudulent activity, and I aim to address it promptly by closing my current checking account and reopening a new one with a different number for added security measures.

I recently discovered that the father of my twins fraudulently claimed both children on his taxes despite a court order allowing him to claim only one. He falsely informed me that he corrected this mistake, leading me to file my taxes claiming the child I am supposed to. However, my filing was rejected as he did, in fact, claim both twins and received a stimulus payment for them. The twins have always resided with me, not him. His name is Jonathan Mckenzie, and my twins are Andrew and Matthew Henry. I have resubmitted my taxes by mail along with proof from child support showing he should not claim both children, yet I have not received any updates after contacting the IRS once before. The dance studio where I work has closed due to the pandemic, leaving me uncertain about the next steps or if I need to resend the information. I am in need of guidance as I am at a loss for answers.

I need help from a financial attorney due to identity theft by a family member. I have federal protection because of my lineage, being both a Rothschild and a Rockefeller descendant. I am a council member in my town and am unable to get assistance locally. Someone is pretending to be me, and I require DNA testing for verification. I have a court date on August 11th and need legal representation due to my civil rights being violated.

I recently received a 4464C form informing me that my tax return is under review. Upon reviewing my taxes, I realized I did not qualify for the American Opportunity Tax Credit due to misinterpretation. Although I started to file an amended tax return, I am unable to proceed without paying $[redacted] by check, which I cannot do until my refund is released from being held during the review process. I am concerned about potential interest charges and need my refund urgently. Should I wait for the review to be completed or take another course of action to resolve this issue promptly?

I e-filed my taxes on February 22nd. Four weeks later, I received a letter from the IRS stating that I hadn't submitted a Form 1040A for the Health Insurance subsidy I received from the state of MD. The letter had a deadline to submit the form, which I missed. I didn't send the form, and the letter mentioned that the refund balance would be adjusted if it wasn't received on time. Now, it's August 4th, and I still haven't received my federal or state tax refunds. I've attempted to contact the IRS, but all the numbers I've tried give me the same recorded message about the high call volume before disconnecting. I just want to know the status of my refunds. Thank you.

My [redacted] tax return was rejected, possibly because my two disabled children received a stimulus check in May [redacted] with the help of their Disability Counselors. Even though I am the Head of household and claim them on my taxes, the stimulus was obtained by them by confirming on a website that no one else can claim them. This situation is frustrating, and I am unsure of how to proceed with my already submitted tax return. Should I fill out new forms as single despite supporting both children in [redacted]? One of my children, who I still fully support, has no income or job prospects, while the other child moved out in March [redacted] but still has belongings in her room until she completes the move to a new rented room.

I recently received a demanding letter claiming I owe $18,[redacted].80; this is distressing given my current financial situation below the poverty line, relying on SSI-SSDI. I find it unwarranted, especially as I await a new stimulus check. I am considering legal recourse such as BANKRUPTCY FILINGS through the IFP [PN] Pendants Lite in accordance with @17 USCS [redacted], [redacted] "COPYRIGHT ASSISTANCE FOR DISABLED." It's frustrating to face such tax demands when struggling economically and counting on imminent financial support.

I am unsure if I can get assistance, but I have a query to ask. I faced issues receiving stimulus money for my kids at the beginning of the pandemic. Despite filling out the non-filers tool, it rejected my data citing a birthday mismatch with IRS records. My stimulus was successfully deposited in my bank account, but I need help obtaining it for my 13 and 14-year-old kids. As a recipient of SSI who doesn't file taxes, I am unsure how to correct my birthday data. I possess my birth certificate, driver's license, mail with my address, and social security card. I would appreciate any guidance you could provide in this matter. Apologies if I have bothered the wrong person or wasted your time. Thank you in advance. - Johnny C. Jr.

Hello, I am a recipient of SSI benefits totaling approximately $[redacted] monthly due to a physical disability that prevents me from working. With President Trump's recent executive order for payroll tax cuts, I have concerns about how this will impact my SSI payments. I am unsure where the funds will come from and if my SSI amount will be reduced. I am also wondering if there will be any stimulus checks issued. The rising prices have made it challenging for me to afford groceries and pay my rent, and I am in need of assistance. Are there additional funds available for disabled individuals in California similar to those for the unemployed? Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently filed my [redacted] taxes and my economic stimulus check was supposed to be directly deposited into my bank account. However, the check was intercepted due to a child support case. When I checked the status of the economic refund, it showed that the check was sent out and should have been received by July 24th, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I have not received it. I would like assistance in stopping payment on the original check or getting a new one issued. I am wondering why the economic stimulus check did not go directly into my bank account like my tax return. I would appreciate it if the economic stimulus check could be deposited into my bank account as soon as possible. Thank you for your help.

I am in need of my identification PIN to file for the stimulus payment. I have two children, and the IRS informed me that they've sent it twice to my old address with no success. My boyfriend, who lives separately due to recent heart surgery, also hasn't received it. We've thoroughly checked with his accountant to no avail. Being a single mother to a disabled toddler, the pressure is immense. I'm currently facing homelessness with my kids amid the ongoing pandemic. Despite providing all the necessary information and even offering to email my ID and social security details, the situation remains unresolved. I feel completely helpless and frustrated by the lack of assistance.

I am the father of two boys, Gregory Scott Serena III and Joshua James Serena, and I wanted to share how my ex-partner allegedly misled the state to increase my child support arrears. After serving time in Lee County Jail in [redacted], child support was filed against me while I was incarcerated. However, upon my release in [redacted], we reconciled and moved to Michigan, where she supposedly closed the child support case legally. We resided in Michigan for about five years, during which I financially supported the family. Eventually, we had a falling-out and she desired to return to Florida. Despite my reluctance, she left with our daughter and younger son, while our older son decided to stay with me.

The stimulus payment that was meant for my mom was sent to my Uber bank card with a missing digit. I canceled my account at Go Bank, so they sent the payment back to the IRS. Now, it's scheduled to be mailed on August 28th. I have the option to provide my account information for direct deposit, but since I closed my old account and opened a new one, the details don't match. I need assistance from the IRS to ensure the payment is deposited into my new account instead of being mailed. Initially, I had provided the correct information, but due to a missing digit, it was rejected. I've been informed that I can update the information once the IRS receives the payment. It is crucial for me as I am currently working in California but reside in Nashville, and receiving the check by mail would cause significant delays. I simply need the IRS to update the payment destination to my new account.
