I have not yet received my stimulus payment. I am eligible as a participant in SSDI for permanent disability. When I check the IRS website and click on "Where's my stimulus payment?" it directs me to an automated page stating I may not be eligible (which I know I am) or that they may not have enough information about my payment yet. This has been going on for weeks without any updates. When I called the IRS, I just end up being shuffled around and can't speak to a live person. I only receive automated information and the call ends. Can anyone help me with this situation?

I have tried multiple times to check the status of my [redacted] tax return on the IRS website, but I keep receiving an error message when trying to set up an account. I submitted my original return on October 2, [redacted], and after sending additional information on November 19, [redacted], I have not received my $1,[redacted] refund or any update. I suspect there might be an issue with my account since I can't get a response through the website or over the phone. I have tried contacting them without success. Can someone please assist me in resolving this matter? Thank you.

I have not received my stimulus check. After contacting the IRS, I was instructed to fill out Form [redacted]. Although I have received my [redacted] tax return via paper check, my stimulus check has not arrived. The IRS representative advised me to complete Form [redacted] for direct deposit and submit it via fax or mail to ensure my stimulus check is sent.
I am in need of the fax number and mailing address for submitting Form [redacted]. Can someone please provide me with this information as well as confirm that Form [redacted] is indeed the correct form for individuals who have not received their stimulus checks?
Thank you for your assistance, as I had difficulty understanding the IRS representative during our phone conversation.

I e-filed using TurboTax with automatic deposit back in April. When I checked the IRS website for my refund status, it showed that my refund was sent by mail on 5/15/[redacted], even though I had selected automatic deposit for a faster refund. I never received the refund in the mail. The website instructed not to call before 6/10 if the refund wasn't received. By 6/10, I still had not received anything, so I contacted the IRS. After following the voice prompt to explain my issue, I was informed that I would receive a form by mail to confirm my identity and the missing refund. It has been over two weeks, and I have not received the form. Today is 7/6, almost two months since the IRS said they sent my refund, and I am still waiting. I urgently need my refund and require assistance from a live representative.

I previously filed my taxes using the filers version but encountered issues where my taxes were never accepted, resulting in not receiving my tax refund due to errors made during the online filing process. Consequently, this affected my eligibility for the stimulus payment as well. I was advised to use the non-filers section, but am unable to proceed due to the initial filing error. I am a single mother facing additional challenges as my child's father has left, taking my child's social security card. As a result, I am unable to provide her social security information at this time. I am hopeful that speaking with a live representative can help me resolve these issues to receive the much-needed benefits.

On April 1st, [redacted], I discovered fraudulent activity on my DIRECTEXPRESS account. Despite receiving $[redacted] per month from SSD, I found only $23 available when trying to access my funds. After contacting DE, it came to light that someone in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was attempting to transfer $[redacted] to an MGM prepaid card without my authorization. Following their instructions and reaching out to GetHuman, the money was eventually returned to my card on June 1st, [redacted], which I assumed to be stimulus funds. However, on July 1st, [redacted], I found my balance reduced to $23 again. DE claimed they deducted the funds to repay a loan, even though it was my money that had been taken. They mentioned MGM prepaid cards withdrawing the money for an online game, which I have never engaged in. I am baffled by how my funds can be taken without my consent, leaving me struggling to make ends meet for essentials like deodorant and rent. It is disheartening to have the majority of my funds taken twice in three months, making it incredibly challenging to cover basic living expenses.

I have been struggling to get in touch with your team to address my concern. Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to receive any assistance regarding the non-receipt of my stimulus check. It's already July, and I have exhausted all possible means to determine the status of my payment. I require an IRS representative to contact me, as indicated on your website. Kindly provide the necessary support by calling me. If your organization is not associated with the IRS, I am uncertain how you can aid me in this matter.

Hello,
My name is Teresa Hall, and I submitted my taxes in March [redacted]. I am waiting for a letter detailing the amount I owe. So far, I have only received a letter directing me to view my account online. However, I am encountering issues answering the security questions, particularly regarding my Student loan account number. Despite inputting the correct number, it states it does not match their records. Following the instructions, I continually get locked out and have to retry the next day. I am seeking assistance as I am unable to get through on the phone. I would like to know my balance and if I can set up installment payments until the full amount is paid. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My spouse and I sent our income tax return around April 9th, [redacted]. Upon reviewing the IRS refund site, I noticed that no refund has been issued. I am concerned that the return might have been lost in the mail. My primary goal is to confirm if the return has been received to determine if I should send it again.
Best regards,
Lloyd T. Brent

Hello,
I recently filed my taxes and received a stimulus payment check, even though I am not an American citizen. I would like to know the correct steps to return the payment and whether I should refile my taxes using the appropriate form (1040N instead of [redacted]). The payment was made through a direct deposit, so returning it via email is not possible. I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed with this matter. Thank you.

It has been 12 weeks since I mailed my amended tax return to the IRS, and I have yet to receive confirmation that they have received it. Even though they state that it typically takes 3 weeks to be received and 16 weeks to process, the lack of any update is concerning. How can I verify if my amendment was not lost in the mail? The IRS advised against resubmitting to avoid further delays, but the uncertainty is frustrating. Is it common for the IRS to have such disorganization in handling amendments?

I need to set up a payment plan with the IRS. After sending in a payment slip with $50 to initiate the process, I requested to pay $[redacted] monthly but haven't received any follow-up yet. I previously had a successful payment plan and received monthly statements. I'd like guidance on what steps to take next or how to reach an agent for assistance. Thank you, Mary R.

My taxes have been under review since February. A tax advocate was assigned to me about a month ago. We discovered that two companies I worked for last year did not report my correct earnings, so I provided her with the information via fax. However, due to being unemployed since October and being a single parent of two, my bank account was closed after 45 days of inactivity. I need to provide a different bank account for direct deposit or opt for a paper check to be sent to my home address, which was also closed. I couldn't afford a PO Box, so I had to choose between household needs and paying for it, as there is a mailbox at the end of my driveway.

I was informed that I qualify for a $[redacted] stimulus payment due to receiving Social Security Survivor's Benefits starting in May. Previously, I was receiving SSI. When I contacted the IRS, they mentioned they have no record for me. I tried using the non-filers tool, but it requests a pin that I do not possess, and it keeps getting rejected. I am unsure what steps to take to receive my payment as I am in urgent need of it. Thank you.

I have been trying to obtain my W2 from past employers for months now. They keep saying they will mail it, but I never receive it even though I have confirmed my address multiple times. The tax deadline is approaching in 6 days and I cannot risk not having this crucial document. I have a newborn and this is a pressing matter for me. Today, I contacted my previous employers again to ask for the corporate phone number, but the number they provided was out of service. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and as a next step, I am considering reaching out to the IRS.

I recently returned my economic stimulus debit card to the IRS office in Austin, Texas after receiving it in May following my husband's passing in April. The IRS.gov website indicates that a recalculated card was mailed on May 22, likely the original one. However, I am unsure of the status of my returned card or the recalculation timeline. I contacted a helpline offering to replace destroyed cards, but I am concerned that the new card might be issued for both my husband and myself despite his passing. How should I proceed in this situation?

Hello, I'm Ashley. My husband and I filed our taxes on April 4, [redacted]. Unfortunately, we had to file with an injured spouse report attached. The process is taking longer than expected, and in two weeks, it will be a total of 16 weeks. I spoke with an IRS representative who mentioned that our taxes are randomly selected for review. He stated it would be another 16 weeks before we receive our refund. His explanation was confusing, so I am hoping for clarification. If someone could reach out to me to help me understand the situation better, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Dear Team, I have a query regarding amending a [redacted] tax return. I used Turbotax for my daughter's taxes and mistakenly reported an excess [redacted] Roth IRA contribution of $[redacted] on the return that has already been processed by the IRS. However, this was an error. I had not actually made the Roth IRA contribution when I sent the return to the IRS. I realized the mistake and made the correct contribution to my investment company without exceeding the limit. Now, I am unsure if I need to send an amended return to the IRS. I am seeking guidance on any potential issues that may arise if I do not amend the return. Thank you for your assistance. Steve

I submitted my taxes two weeks before the deadline but have not yet received a letter from the IRS regarding the specific code I was informed about a month ago. I was told that if they needed more information from me, I would be notified by mail, but I haven't received anything. Each time I call the IRS, after waiting for 2 hours, I either get disconnected or transferred two to three times. In [redacted], I mistakenly used the wrong W-2 form when filing as head of household, leading to a year-long delay in receiving my refund. This year, I corrected the filing status with H&R Block, providing all necessary documentation except proving the change from [redacted] to [redacted]. This change may be causing the delay in receiving my stimulus and tax refunds. I am feeling frustrated by the lack of assistance and may consider seeking help from a state tax attorney if the issue is not resolved promptly.

I submitted my tax return through H&R Block in March or possibly at the end of April. I have not received any communication regarding an issue that was supposedly flagged on my return involving a code unfamiliar to the representatives. I have tried to reach out for clarification, but the phone calls have been abruptly ended by the customer service. It has been over a month since this occurred, and I am still awaiting any updates by mail. This delay is also affecting my eligibility for the stimulus check during the pandemic. I value the owed $9,[redacted] more than the stimulus payment at this time.
