My Steam account was stolen. A friend informed me that they mistakenly reported me for fake purchases. They directed me to a fake "Official" Steam account for steps to prevent my account from being banned. I unknowingly provided them with my code. Subsequently, they instructed me to purchase bitcoin, leaving me without money or my account. I managed to recover my funds but am yet to regain access to my Steam account. Account: gigano92.

My Steam account was stolen on 05.02.[redacted]. The other person changed the email and password. The stolen account is strategnr02. My real name is Hannes Trapp, which is why the old email associated with the account is [redacted] I'm eager to have my account restored to me promptly so I can resume playing my games.

I have unfortunately fallen victim to a scam on my Steam account, and I am currently working on reclaiming it. A similar situation happened to one of my friends, which led to this incident affecting me as well. The scammer has been impersonating me and contacting many of my friends on Steam. I have evidence of these actions and am willing to provide any necessary information to recover my account. The scammer may have some of my personal information due to my initial mistake in falling for their deceptive tactics. They often pose as Valve administrators to appear legitimate. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the money they took from me by contacting my bank. My account name is superzwarriorz; however, the scammer has changed the password, email, and phone number associated with it. I am urgently seeking assistance to prevent further harm and ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

I believe my Steam account has been compromised. I created the account on 6/29/[redacted] using the email [redacted] and the username mha040607. When I tried to log in recently, I realized that the email and password associated with my account had been changed by someone else. Although I haven't used the account in a while, I have made purchases on it, so I am eager to regain access to it. Thank you for your help.

I recently encountered a situation where an individual who claimed to be a Steam admin or moderator from the security and support team restricted my access to my account, alleging fraudulent activity and requesting money to reinstate access. Despite my innocence and lack of evidence, they blocked me and demanded a payment to resolve the issue. They also asked for personal verification codes and transaction history, which raised suspicions and led me to believe it was a phishing attempt. It's essential to remain cautious and verify the legitimacy of such requests to protect personal information and accounts.

Hello, I've been playing CS:GO for a while and I noticed in the community section on Steam a post from "CS:GO News" offering a free skin due to maintenance issues, which turned out to be a scam. Despite the warning signs, I fell for it, providing my account information. Now, my password has been changed, and I noticed all tabs showing "no connection" before getting logged out. I'm concerned about what they might do with my account. I reached out to Steam support, but I haven't received a response in a week.

I recently encountered an issue where an individual from my friends list, DarkDragon****, directed me to contact someone named Howell Gerpaks, now identified as Ben Jackson, on Discord. As a result, I have lost access to my account under the username NiNjAFiGhTr** and I am desperate to regain control. I have invested a significant amount of money into this account and cannot afford to lose it. I am seeking assistance from Steam to facilitate the recovery of my account. Your support in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I believe my Steam account has been compromised. I usually stay logged in but was prompted to log in when I tried to play a game. After multiple failed attempts to log in, I realized my password no longer worked. The hacker changed the email associated with the account to something unrecognizable, possibly "i**********@i***.i". I am unable to regain access to my account with the username "yfavuty" and Steam name "kleinchef". Your help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Fabian D. from Germany

I recently lost access to my Steam account due to a broken laptop with Steam Guard enabled. I've tried contacting Steam support via email, but I can't access the email linked to the account because I forgot it. The email address is partially hidden like this 'k*******'. After fixing my laptop, Steam doesn't recognize it, and I don't have the code to activate my account. I remember my username (kasey_maria) and password but forgot the email. I'm hoping to recover my email linked to the account and possibly disable Steam Guard. I have purchased games on that account and would like to access them again. Last time I contacted support, they requested me to specify my needs.

Hello, my boyfriend's account has been hacked. He has contacted you numerous times, but no one has responded to help him with this situation. We are unsure of what steps are being taken to resolve this issue and no one has indicated if his account can be recovered. We have already made purchases on the account that was compromised, so creating a new account and buying everything again is not a viable option. We kindly request a prompt response via email to assist us in recovering his account. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick update: My account was compromised by a scammer 48 hours ago. The scammer has altered my password, changed the linked email address, and deleted my phone number. I am currently awaiting a response from Steam's support team after submitting a ticket. However, it would be helpful to have an additional request for them to investigate the matter. I have all the details needed to verify my ownership of the Steam account.

I received a message on Steam offering a free skin roll for CS:GO, which I was excited about as a new fan of the game. After clicking the link and rolling for a skin, I was prompted to connect my Steam account to receive the item. Unfortunately, once I did this, I was logged out and unable to regain access. The hacker changed my account name and email, and now the account is being sold with a link in the description. My account has been compromised and is now up for sale.

When I was younger, I spent $[redacted] on TF2 with high hopes of trading. One person offered me a fantastic unusual item for my belongings. I diligently followed their instructions, visiting marketplace.tf and completing the trade. Regrettably, this incident haunts me to this day, it occurred around two years ago. I kindly ask for assistance in retrieving my lost items from that Team Fortress 2 trade. Your help in resolving this matter and returning my items would be greatly appreciated.

When I was younger, I spent $[redacted] on TF2. Excited about trading, a guy offered me a crazy unusual in exchange for my items. I followed his directions, went to marketplace.tf, and traded my expensive stuff to his account. This happened two years ago, but I still think about it every day. I really need those items back, and I can't shake off the memory of this scam. The game involved is Team Fortress 2, and I'm hoping Steam can assist me in recovering my lost items. This scam continues to upset me.

When I was younger, I spent $[redacted] on TF2. I was excited to get into trading, and one guy offered me a crazy unusual for my stuff. I followed all his directions: went to marketplace.tf, waited for a trade offer, and then traded my expensive stuff into their account. I think about this every day. It happened 2 years ago, I believe. I really need those items back. I can't stop thinking about this. This incident occurred in Team Fortress 2. I would like Steam to return my items and ban the scammer, please.

I recently reset my password for my account after a long period of inactivity. However, I've been blocked from trading for the next 16 days. I find this restriction unfair, especially since I can still make purchases in the Steam store without any issue. Please lift this restriction promptly. I expect to be able to access all features of my account, including trading and the community market, as I see fit, given that I am the owner of the funds in question.

I was encouraged by a friend to participate in an online Rocket League tournament bracket on "eslplaysgames.com." Despite initially finding the website suspicious, I felt pressured to proceed. After logging into my steam account on the site, in just 2 minutes, my steam two-factor authentication was turned off, my phone number was deleted from my account, and the primary email associated with my account was altered.

I urgently need assistance regarding stolen CS:GO items. A scammer gained unauthorized access to the CS:GO trading system and took my items. Despite contacting Steam promptly, I have not received any effective help yet. Residing in the UK, please reach out to me at +[redacted][redacted]. If Steam can provide a contact number, I am willing to call immediately. This scam is alarming and poses a significant risk to the Steam community. I can provide chat history proof and screenshots confirming the scammer's actions. Your prompt attention to this matter is deeply appreciated.

Hello, I purchased Steam cards from my local Walmart to play games with my nephews, but unfortunately, there was nothing on them when we tried to use them. Walmart informed me that there were no funds on the cards and suggested I reach out to Steam for a refund. I have not used these cards, so I am seeking a chargeback for the purchase. A Walmart employee mentioned that the cards may have been cloned, potentially during the busy holiday season. I bought these cards for a bonding experience with my nephews, and this situation has been disappointing. I would appreciate your assistance in refunding the amount I spent on these cards.

This morning, I discovered that my Steam account had been compromised. I received emails notifying me of changes to my phone number, email, and password reset. I was also locked out of the Steam authenticator app. I have not shared my account details with anyone, not even close friends, so I am certain my account has been hacked. The changes were made from a location in Russia, but I reside in the United States, confirming that it was not me who made these alterations.
