I purchased No Man's Sky on Steam for £40. I am seeking a refund, but the automatic system declined it due to me playing over the allowed time. Let me clarify the reason for requesting a refund. Initially, the game worked well and ran smoothly. However, after about 15 hours of gameplay, it started crashing every 10-15 minutes, causing me to lose progress. This issue has rendered the game unplayable, and I would have continued playing for many more hours if not for these recurrent crashes. I feel that I've essentially wasted £40 on a game that I can no longer enjoy. I kindly ask for your consideration in this matter. Thank you.

My Steam account has been compromised. Someone contacted me offering CSGO skins from a website and led me to a fake login page, where I entered my credentials. When prompted to verify with my mobile authenticator, I complied. Now, I cannot access my account as the password and email have been changed, and my phone and authenticator removed. I have submitted a ticket to Steam support with email screenshots, credit card details, and other relevant information, but have not received a response yet. I seek assistance to regain access to my account.

While watching a PUBG stream on Twitch, I found a link promising free skins. I clicked the link, leading me to a Steam login page that assured no sharing of my information. I proceeded to log into my Steam account. Hours later, I discovered my account was hacked, with the password and email changed to a Russian IP address. I have already contacted Steam support via email, but it has been 24 hours without a response. I'm unsure of my next steps. I have forgotten my password for my Windows 10 Steam account and don't know how to recover it through the support page on the website. I can't receive an authentication code because my Samsung S8 is not capable of it. I have attempted to disable the Steam Mobile Authentication, but I am unable to do so, creating a loop on the page. I have reached out to Steam regarding my account, Thebigmonster124, which I have used for nearly 4 years. Yesterday, I purchased the battle pass and was happy about it. However, just 30 minutes after buying it, my account was stolen. This happened through a sudden pop-up website claiming to be affiliated with Steam, offering free skins in exchange for signing in. Upon signing in, I immediately received 3 emails stating that my phone and email were removed from Steam, and the Steam Guard authorization was disabled. The URL in the emails was from Russia. The hacker swiftly changed all my information. I have already sent all the necessary attachments to Steam support. Please assist me in recovering my account as I have many skins, $4 in Steam funds, and recently purchased the battle pass. I had also bought CS:GO 4 years ago for $30 and Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. Kindly help me regain access to my account and take action against the hacker.

I keep receiving the error message "Steam needs to be online to update" despite trying all the suggested fixes from Google, Steam, and YouTube. My computer is clearly connected to the internet as I am using it for various activities such as listening to music and posting here. I am frustrated because Steam lacks proper support channels. This problem arose when my Rimworld mods weren't showing up, leading me to uninstall Rimworld and eventually Steam as well. Now I can't reinstall Steam and keep encountering the same error message. I have restarted my computer multiple times in an attempt to resolve the issue.

A scammer deleted my account. They directed me to contact them on Discord, which already seemed suspicious. Despite engaging in conversation on Discord, the individual claimed there was a false report against my account. They repeatedly requested proof of innocence, even asking me to verify possession of a non-existent item that allegedly led to the report of "duping items." When they insisted on screen sharing and sending me a link, both of which I refused, I called them out as scammers based on feedback from several friends. Consequently, they proceeded to delete my account.

Two days ago, my Steam account, with the username damyles169 and the name mylesofpizza, was hacked. I made the mistake of clicking on a link. The hacker changed the email address and phone number associated with the account, and I no longer have access to the old phone number. I'm unsure if any of the debit cards linked to the account are still valid, but I can provide my Driver's License to confirm my ownership. I attempted to submit a support ticket through another Steam channel, but it was not successful. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

I recently encountered a scam while using Steam. A user on my friends list, who may have been hacked or a fake account, falsely reported me for illegal purchases. They urged me to contact a phony "GoV (Official)" account to rectify the situation to avoid a ban. Sadly, this individual from the Philippines managed to hack into my account, altering the email and password, leaving me locked out. I'm anxiously trying to regain access to my account. I'm frustrated by the lack of a Steam helpline and the poor quality of the support website.

I recently encountered an issue where I was added by two unknown individuals who sent me a link to a website. After clicking on the link, I was prompted to redeem a free skin by entering my account username, password, and Steam Guard details. Unfortunately, my account was hacked shortly after. A person named Memearella who I had befriended messaged me out of the blue today, claiming to have accidentally reported me for illegal purchases. He directed me to a Steam account under the name "54rd (Official)." Feeling wrongly targeted, I informed him that I had been falsely reported and he requested my purchase history. Subsequently, he asked for my Steam username and later sent an email with a code to "verify my Steam account." Regrettably, I overlooked that the email was soliciting my login details. Consequently, he altered the password and email associated with my account, preventing me from accessing Steam, even on my mobile device. I urge for a prompt response to this issue.

My friend Super Warrior from the SMG4 Amino contacted me today, mentioning that he mistakenly reported me instead of someone else, without specifying who. He shared a link to an admin's account named Suyaon. After reaching out to Suyaon, they requested various information - excluding passwords - primarily my Steam username. Shortly after, I was removed from the account, and I received three emails indicating changes made - one about my email address, one about my phone number, and one about my mobile authentication being removed. I am unsure about the situation; I was simply trying to enjoy my games and have voice chats with another friend when this incident occurred.

On February 7, [redacted], I purchased two $20 Steam wallet cards from a Dollar General using my Chime ATM Debit Card. Despite being told the cards would activate within 15 minutes, I did not receive an activation code. Upon scratching the cards and attempting to enter the codes on my Steam wallet account, they were deemed invalid. The store informed me they were not liable for unactivated cards. I have the cards and receipt in my possession and seek a refund for the unactivated cards.

My friend mistakenly reported my Steam account for illegal purchases. He tried to inform the Steam admin that it was an error, but unfortunately, the admin did not believe him. I have been attempting to provide proof of my legitimate purchases made through PayPal, but I have not received a response beyond a simple "hello sir?" My account remains locked for something I did not do, and despite my efforts to demonstrate my innocence, no action has been taken.
