On May 30, [redacted], I purchased $[redacted] worth of cards from a 7-11 store. Unfortunately, when I scratched four of the cards, some of the last five digits are missing, and on one card, the numbers are overprinted. The clerk accused me of overscratching, but upon inspection, the glossy finish where the numbers should be is still intact. I am honest and would never lie about this. I am considering taking action against the two clerks for harassment, racism, discrimination, and prejudice. I am requesting either a replacement of the cards or a refund. I am disappointed with the customer service provided by these clerks and the quality of the cards with missing numbers. I have other similar cards where the numbers were intact after scratching. A year ago, I was warned that customer service in Edmonton is poor, and sadly, my recent experience seems to confirm this perception. Improvements in sensitivity, communication, and hospitality training are needed for many people in this city.

I purchased a program on Steam called Global ATC, but it did not work correctly. I requested a refund promptly, but Steam declined, citing that I played the game for over 2 hours. On the day of purchase, I applied for the refund, but the tutorials and troubleshooting took up most of the time. Learning a complex program like this requires more than 2 hours. Despite Steam's policy mentioning consideration for cases like mine, my refund was still rejected due to the playtime. I feel unfairly treated and am seeking Steam's address to pursue legal action through small claims court.

I recently purchased a $30 Steam card from my local GameStop. I used it to buy the game MORDHAU on my Steam wallet. Unfortunately, my PC cannot handle the game, experiencing severe lag, constant crashes, and freezing issues that even required me to restart my computer. Despite my attempts to adjust the settings for better performance, the game remained unplayable. I rarely request refunds due to low frame rates, but the combination of technical issues and precise gameplay mechanics led me to do so in this case. After explaining my struggles and requesting a refund, I received an email stating that it couldn't be refunded to my wallet due to exceeding 3.5 hours of playtime. Most of this time was spent dealing with technical difficulties rather than actual gameplay. Despite multiple attempts to clarify my situation, I received the same automated response repeatedly. I am willing to provide video evidence of the game's performance on my system to resolve this and exchange the unplayable game for one that my PC can handle. Thank you.

Today, when trying to log into my gaming account to play DOTA with friends, I encountered an error message indicating my login credentials were incorrect. After changing my password and successfully logging in, Steam unexpectedly went offline when launching the game (DOTA 2). Upon further investigation, it appears that an unauthorized individual has accessed my account, changed the registered email address, and is actively using it to play Player Unknowns Battlegrounds. The original account details for reference are: Username - hotdice5, original email - [redacted]

A few days ago, I was prompted by Steam to re-enter my login information, but when I tried, my password wasn't accepted. Now, as I attempt to reset my password, the email address Steam is asking me to verify doesn't seem familiar. I also encountered issues verifying through PayPal. Although there haven't been any unauthorized transactions on my bank accounts or credit cards (as they aren't connected to Steam), I primarily use PayPal for purchases to prevent such incidents. I've bought numerous games on Steam over the years and would appreciate help in regaining access to them. When this occurred with my EA Origin account before, resolving it over the phone proved more convenient. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Hello, I am careca1951. My Steam account has been compromised multiple times in the past two weeks. This time, I am unable to reset my password because Steam is sending the new reset code to an unfamiliar email address (m*******@m***.r*), which appears to be Romanian or Russian. I am a pensioner and struggle with computer issues. I ran a scan with the latest version of AVG, but it did not detect any malicious threats. I need assistance with this issue.

I urgently need assistance! As a Regional Manager at my company, our email system got hacked by a scammer. I received an email that seemed to be from the owner, asking me to buy $[redacted] in Steam Gift Cards, scratch them off, and email the codes for a meeting. Luckily, I sent the Gift Card details to the actual owner's email instead of the scammer. When the real owner confirmed it was a scam, I rushed to the store to ask for a refund but GameStop refused, claiming nothing could be done. I followed your advice and filed a police report. Please, help me with this situation. Thank you.

Today, I received a message while my account was idle online. Upon returning, I found a notification alleging hacks and viruses on my account, threatening a ban. The message was from Yahn, claiming to be a Steam Support Council Representative. This seemed suspicious as the individual's profile had an "illuminati" background. I strongly feel this is not an official communication from Steam. I am worried about potential unauthorized access. I urge a true Steam representative to contact me directly via email to resolve this issue and avoid any unwarranted bans. Thank you.

Hello, I have a unique issue with Monster Hunter World that I need assistance with. When the game was first released, my brother and I created two separate Hunters, AliReda and Leonidas III, on different save files under the same account. My brother initially didn't own the game and played on my account. Now, we both have invested a lot of time and effort into our Hunters, and restarting them would mean losing all that progress. We want to play together with friends and family who also have the game, but since both Hunters are on the same account, under Encosen, we can't.
I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer the saved data from my account to another account so my brother can have his own without losing progress. Alternatively, if AliReda can stay on my account and Leonidas III can be on my brother's new account, that would be even better. I'm not sure if this is something you or Steam can help with, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any assistance you can offer to help us enjoy the game together.

I have already emailed about an issue with the Steam gift cards I purchased. My name is Linda A. Recently, I bought 4 $50 cards, shared the numbers with my boyfriend, but when he tried to use them, they didn't work. This is the first problem I've had in 2 months of buying these cards. I need assistance promptly to resolve this. I trust my honest boyfriend didn't use them as he said the cards were empty when he tried to load them. I kindly request either a refund of $[redacted] or replacement cards. We did not use the cards, and my boyfriend had trouble redeeming them. Please respond quickly as I love using these cards, and I hope to continue doing so with a resolution.

I purchased BattleTech on Steam, and initially, it ran smoothly for about an hour. However, it subsequently crashed, and all my efforts to relaunch it, including a fresh installation, led to a non-responsive black screen. This issue has affected various users with no clear solution. Despite trying multiple fixes, I couldn't make the game work, so I requested a refund.
Due to troubleshooting, Steam states I have exceeded the playtime limit for a refund, even though I couldn't actually play due to the technical problem. Despite several refund requests resulting in generic responses, it seems no one has reviewed the details as my issue remains unresolved. Feeling frustrated, all I seek is a refund for a game unplayable since purchase.
I simply wish to reclaim my funds to invest in a functional game. It is disheartening to face obstacles in receiving the refund that should rightfully be issued.

I haven't used my account for almost a week and logged in this morning to play CSGO. While in a casual match, my name turned blank, and my profile picture disappeared. A friend messaged me about my account, only to discover I was banned for violating the terms of service, which I am clueless about. My attempt to open a support ticket failed as it was closed instantly. After reading the notice again, I tried moving my items to my brother's account, but someone posing as my brother tricked me, and I lost items worth over $[redacted]. I have screenshots as proof. I tried contacting Steam support via phone since they won't address my issue online, but had no success. I am devastated because this Steam account means everything to me, and I fear losing it all. Please, I need assistance.

While installing a game, I encountered an issue where I got logged out of my account. When attempting to sign back in, I received an error message stating my password was incorrect. After checking my email, I discovered that both my account email and password had been changed. The email I received included an IP address from France, coinciding with a previous contact with Ubisoft regarding removing my two-step verification because I misplaced my authenticator. After the Ubisoft representative confirmed that the verification was removed, I bid farewell, and they responded in French. Following this interaction, I was immediately logged out of Steam. To prevent future unauthorized access, I created a new email address and password. Strangely, I did not receive the two-step verification code from my Steam authenticator during the login incident.

I purchased a Steam wallet card that was poorly made. When I scratched the code, part of it came off. I reached out to Steam support, and they are still looking into the issue. It's frustrating as all they need to do is provide me with the code or refund my $30. It's taking longer than expected to resolve, and I feel like they are not taking it seriously. I believe they are just stalling in the hopes that I will give up. I have decided not to buy a Steam wallet card again in the future.

I was scammed by a trader named Tim Burn Trading, who supposedly had a level [redacted] Steam account. He used a BitSkins bot named "BitSkins #[redacted] [[redacted]]" to offer me a fraudulent trade. Tim acted professionally and gained my trust. Unfortunately, I lost many valuable items in the trade. Some of the lost items include Manifold Paradox, Top Hat of the Steam Chopper, Pauldrons of the Steam Chopper, and many more. I urge action against this scam for the sake of improving marketplaces.

I recently bought a Steam wallet gift card, but when I removed the strip to reveal the code, part of it got damaged. I reached out to Steam support for assistance, but I haven't received a response yet. I really need the code from the card to use it, or I would appreciate a refund. It's frustrating that they seem indifferent to my issue and just want me to drop it. This whole experience has made me reconsider being a customer of theirs. It's been a week without any support response, and I find this treatment of customers unacceptable.

I bought Worlds Adrift on April 28th, [redacted], from Steam. It was still in development but showed a lot of potential. I played the game for about 1 hour per day, totaling 30 hours that month. Unfortunately, the developers announced the game's closure, making it obsolete after only a month of owning it. They are offering refunds to anyone who bought the game starting April 29th, the day after my purchase. I appealed to Steam support, explaining my situation and the short duration of my ownership compared to the game's lifespan. Despite my plea, Steam denied my refund request, citing my accrued 30 hours of gameplay as disqualifying. I feel unfairly treated, especially when other players with more playtime received refunds just because they purchased the game a day later. What can I do to address this refusal based on my playtime?

I am seeking a refund for a recent purchase that I believe adheres to your return policy guidelines. I closed the game after playing for only [redacted] minutes, which is less than your 2-hour playtime limit for refunds. Despite this, your records indicate I have played for over 4 hours. I want to clarify that the time spent with the launcher should not be considered gameplay time, as it is primarily used for updates and downloads. The download process was prolonged due to slow internet speed, as evidenced by a speed test I conducted. I'm disappointed it's taking multiple efforts to resolve this issue, considering I have previously received refunds due to misunderstanding the policy. Below are the reference numbers for my previous refund requests. I am requesting a refund for all these tickets, as the DLC was not utilized and the game was played minimally. I am open to providing further evidence if necessary.

I am having trouble with my Rome TW game. When I click on the icon, it does not open. Even though I try again, I receive a message saying it is already running, but I can't find it anywhere. I have restarted my computer multiple times, but the issue persists. As a disabled vet, this game is important to me. I have played it for nearly 5,[redacted] hours on Steam. I believe the problem is with your system, not the disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Jay.

Hello, I recently purchased Football Manager [redacted], and I've been attempting to install it for the last three days. However, the game consistently gets stuck at 96% with an error message stating a connection timeout occurred. Despite confirming that my network speeds are sufficient, the installation problem persists. I attempted to install another game, encountering the same issue. I have exhausted all troubleshooting steps recommended by Steam Support, including reinstalling Steam, restarting my system and Steam, clearing download cache, changing download locations, and trying other suggested solutions. Nevertheless, none of these actions have resolved the problem. Are there any additional methods to address this installation issue?
