Hello, my name is Crystal. I am a single mother with boys. I am trying to learn Android skills with very little help. I discovered that I have been blocked from even contacting the police. Please help, this is your home phone's spectrum service. Why are you allowing this abuse? I am the head of the household and don't understand why you are allowing children to treat their parents this way. My next option is to report this to ic3.gov, but I am hoping to resolve this issue by speaking with you first to see if you can assist me.

I have my home service at [redacted] Leta Street in Auburndale, Florida. The contrast in speed between my home service and my current stay at one of the Exploira Resorts is astounding! At home, it feels like it takes an eternity to navigate between websites, whereas here, in a location with over 5,[redacted] rooms and more than 20,[redacted] people, the internet speed is incredibly fast.
How is it possible to have such a difference in service quality? Shouldn't all customers receive the same level of service regardless of their location? Or does the company prioritize customers on the go over those at home?

My account on the My Spectrum app is completely messed up. The app is accessing my old closed account instead of my current one. I unknowingly added my new Visa card, and it's saying I owe a past due amount, which I don't. My internet is experiencing technical issues, as is my mobile device. I'm unable to work online through the app now. I'm very unhappy and confused about these problems. The mobile app was working correctly with my new account initially, but something went wrong. When I entered my new credit card, it indicated a past due bill from a closed account. I want a refund promptly, not in 10 days.
I called for information about an internet outage in my area because my connection keeps dropping. My cell phone displays an icon with an exclamation mark instead of signal bars, signifying a network problem. I need to resolve that and obtain an unlock code for my phone. I have inquiries about my account, including my cell phone data limit. The whole online account situation is frustrating, especially with money being incorrectly charged. Waiting on hold for a long time is trying. I attempted using the app again without success. I'm eager for a prompt resolution and communication from Spectrum. It's frustrating not being able to easily connect online or receive assistance promptly.

I need help setting up my second Windows computer to connect to Spectrum wifi. Every time I try to connect, it asks for a Network Security key that should be on the modem Spectrum supplied. I tried the password on the modem and other numbers, but none worked. When I reached out to chat support, it was unhelpful and I got cut off for typing too slowly. Visiting the local store meant waiting for about an hour. I tried to find a Spectrum Customer Service email but had no luck. I'm very disappointed with Spectrum's support. Can someone please provide me with the correct Network Security Key?

I had a technician come out because several channels wouldn't come on. The technician arrived around 7 p.m. and immediately commented on a strange smell. Confused, I asked what he meant, but he abruptly left without checking my equipment. Later, he returned and said I needed to reschedule. I now have an appointment for Thursday. I'm unsure of what he was referring to, but to me, he seemed either unwilling to do the job or possibly inebriated, as I noticed him discreetly covering his mouth with his shirt. This was a very unpleasant and rude experience with a repairman.

I recently had AT&T internet but switched back to Spectrum with a deal that included [redacted] MB/sec internet. One phone is free for 2 years and the 2nd phone is $29.99/month. The internet is $29.99/month with an additional $10 charge for a total of $39.99. I have until 3/22/23 to cancel. My wife's iPhone 13+ is not paid off, costing $[redacted]. We are unsure about switching her phone from Verizon. I received the sim card but have not installed it. I have tried to contact the salesman with no response. Seeking options regarding the contract and possibly switching phone numbers. Please advise on how to proceed.

I am attempting to sign up for your security system for my single computer. However, I have encountered difficulties for the past three days while following the download instructions. Whenever I reach the download button, the system redirects me back to the step of naming my computer. Despite repeatedly nicknaming my computer four times, I am unable to proceed with the download. Following advice from a chat support representative to restart my computer did not resolve the issue. I suspect my computer may still be compromised from a hacking incident in January, preventing me from successfully joining a new security system. Previously, I was a customer of MacAfee, but I experienced a situation where I was misled and mistakenly charged for services.

I am wondering why the local Spectrum store was unable to assist with changing my service. Recently, my 80-year-old mother visited the Bangor Spectrum store to modify her service. However, she was informed that she would have to call instead. Even though they provided her with a list of channels to choose from, she preferred to do it in person due to her hearing impairment. It seems unreasonable to have to handle this over the phone when there is a nearby office. Is it possible to make changes through email or fax, or should the store have been able to assist with a manager's approval? Thank you.

Interacting with Spectrum for cable TV, internet, landline phone, and mobile services has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I've spent countless hours on the phone and in chat support, as well as exchanged numerous emails, all resulting in unresolved issues. The main challenge I face is that the chat support reps require a customer security code, which I have never been given. Despite their instructions to check my bill or welcome email, as a new customer, this information is nowhere to be found. It's baffling how I'm expected to provide a security code that was never provided to me by the company.

I own a vacation condo in Kissimmee. Currently, I've been experiencing issues with the internet connection. Despite trying to get it working intermittently, the equipment is old and in need of replacement. I have scheduled appointments for an Engineer to visit twice through the chat pop-up, aiming for yesterday, May 12, between 11 am - 12 noon when the Property Manager, Annette, would be present. However, there were discrepancies in the scheduling, leading to confusion. Spectrum rescheduled the appointment for later, causing inconvenience and extra costs for my Property Manager. They have now set another appointment for today, May 13, between 5 - 6 pm, which my Property Manager will need to rearrange. It's frustrating that Spectrum is not effectively coordinating the appointments, disregarding the specific need for someone to be present at the condo. As a UK resident, I am unable to receive phone calls on the condo line and must wait until my next visit to address the issue.

I am a Spectrum customer with a phone service issue. My phone has been out of service for over 8 weeks. Initially, technicians tried to fix it remotely through my modem, but the problem recurred. Last Sunday, a repairman attempted to fix it but mentioned the activation app for the new modem wasn't functioning. Today, another repairman replaced the wire from the phone to the modem with a better one, and it seemed to be working. However, a few hours later, the service stopped working again despite the technician's efforts.

I recently switched to Spectrum mobile from AT&T on Tuesday. The customer service representative who assisted me was courteous and helpful, but unfortunately, she provided misleading information to secure my business. I was initially frustrated as I was unable to pick up the new phone in-store due to an urgent situation where my son damaged his device, so I considered canceling the service to stick with AT&T. After expressing my concerns, the representative escalated my issue to her supervisor and assured me of expedited delivery. However, my disappointment grew when the phone did not arrive the next day as promised, and I later learned there was no next-day delivery option. I have an update regarding the communication issues with Zscaler that need to be addressed with your internet provider. On May 11th, Zscaler was turned off as requested. However, after running a continuous ping test to 8.8.8.8, it revealed significant delays of up to [redacted] milliseconds, with over [redacted] pings exceeding [redacted] milliseconds. This compromises Voice Communications through CiscoJabber. The speed tests indicate that your plan's speed is normal. I recommend requesting a technician to inspect both the internal and external connections in your home, perform a comprehensive test on your home router, and ensure your laptop has the latest security patches and drivers. I recently received a letter mentioning a TV Box CA0SBRP8V8RV. When we switched to Spectrum, a technician came to install equipment for three TVs, Wi-Fi, and changed our phone line. However, the third TV had issues with cables or placement, so we decided against its installation. Later, we discovered a box with cables, clamps, a cutting tool, and back boxes that were not used during the installation. I returned these items to the Spectrum office on 11th Street in Newark, Ohio. After realizing we were being charged for the unused TV Box during our [redacted] tax preparations, I contacted Spectrum to explain the situation. I would like to bring to your attention an important matter regarding the security risks associated with recording your own voice for the Home Phone Voicemail message setup. Given the sensitive data stored by Spectrum, there is a potential for this recorded voice to be linked to a phone account and Personal Identifiable Information, posing security concerns.
In today's technology-driven world, it is relatively easy to convert text into audio messages using various tools such as Microsoft Window 7/10 SAPI or online services like VoiceMaker. Google and Apple already offer options to upload audio files, however, security aspects have not been the primary focus.
As a retired FBI and USMC professional with experience in IT, web development, and security, I strongly recommend implementing a safer method for voicemail message recordings to enhance security for both Spectrum and its customers. This improvement could be seamlessly integrated into the web interface with minimal risk, demonstrating Spectrum's commitment to data protection.
