Visit the Spectrum website.
Scroll all the way down on the Spectrum homepage until you find the "Help & Support" line. You'll spot it right below "Explore."
Click on "Help & Support," which will expand the menu below it.
Look for the "Support" link below "Help & Support." It's between "Pay Your Bill" and "Store Locator."
Click on the "Support" link, which will take you to the support home page.
Look for the Spectrum search box at the top of the support page. It says "How can we help you?" and has a magnifying glass icon to its left.
Tap on the search box. Doing so will cause the cursor to blink, "Quick Links" to appear, and your phone's keyboard to pop up.
Browse "Quick Links" to look for the link that says "Outage Information and Troubleshooting."
Click on "Outage Information and Troubleshooting." This will take you to a page of the same name.
Look for the outage box. It has a header that says "Check If You're in an Outage" and has a blue-and-white "Check Outages" button.
Click on the "Check Outages" button, which will take you to the chat feature.
Look for the option that says "Am I in an outage?" and click on it.
Click on either "I'll provide my phone number" or "I'll provide my email," and then fill in the corresponding information. Continue through the prompts until you learn whether there's an outage in your area. Once you complete the process, continue reading if you still need assistance.
