I recently switched from Charter to Spectrum in November. I am a 79-year-old professional woman who has been working for years to be able to enjoy my leisure time and potentially work from home. Installation technician Matthew Pamara assisted in setting up my home phone system, TV, and router. However, I am now experiencing difficulties connecting to the internet. I am currently traveling abroad without phone access to the US. Before my trip, I contacted Spectrum Customer Service to inform them and was informed of an absentee discount of $9.98 per month for two months. Despite some language barriers with the representative, I was reassured that the discount and the Government internet assistance program were set up.
I paid $64.98 for December [redacted] with check #[redacted] and left postdated checks #[redacted] and #[redacted] for $9.98 each for January and February [redacted].

My internet connection in Bozeman, MT (zip code: [redacted]) has been consistently dropping out daily since December [redacted]. The issue starts with disruptions on MS Outlook, then MS Teams, and eventually affects my internet browser. Oddly, my computer indicates it is still connected even after the first two drop-offs. I've noticed no streaming activity or multiple devices in use during these incidents. Restarting my NETGEAR R6220 router resolves the problem temporarily without needing to reset my Spectrum ARRIS TM822A modem, which has been reliable for over three years. I expressed interest in adding a landline using my recently canceled number. After scheduling installation for January 17, [redacted], I noticed a discrepancy in the appointment time on the confirmation email. Despite reassurances from various representatives, I am still awaiting resolution as the promised call has not come yet. For the past month since January [redacted], we have been facing inconsistent WiFi service. I've reached out to Customer Service and Tech Support multiple times to explain the issue and request assistance. Despite receiving text messages stating the area outage was fixed, the problem persisted with weak signals and buffering during streaming. A technician eventually identified and replaced faulty equipment, addressing part of the problem. However, we continue to experience signal loss throughout the day, similar to complaints from neighbors. It would be appreciated if the company could provide transparent updates about ongoing work in the area and when we can expect a resolution instead of sending inaccurate messages claiming the problem is resolved. Long-term customers like us who have been loyal for around 8 years deserve better service or at least acknowledgement of the issues we are facing. It's disheartening to be offered premium services for an extra cost when we have been experiencing subpar service. I hope the company can address these concerns and improve the service for loyal customers like us.

I am writing to express my frustration with Spectrum. My wife and I moved into our new house on September 16th and have been promised service "next month" since then. Our neighbors have resorted to selling their homes or renting office space due to the lack of internet. We have had to settle for subpar Satellite internet, making it extremely difficult to work. I plan to inform our neighborhood about the internet situation and share our experience with Spectrum on social media. I recently signed up for Spectrum internet services and requested to be enrolled in the ACP Program in Kentucky during the phone order. I was under the impression that the state would assist with a portion of my monthly bill. I recently purchased a new Dell desktop computer running Windows 11 and need help connecting to my Spectrum internet and Wi-Fi. I already have Spectrum internet set up on my Windows 11 laptop and Windows 10 desktop. However, when trying to connect the new computer, I receive the message "Cannot connect to this network." I reside at [redacted] Old Mohawk Road in Springfield, Oregon, currently using Spectrum TV and Internet services with account number [redacted] 14 [redacted]. The services reach my house via an overhead line from a Utility Pole on Old Mohawk Road. A new shop has been constructed on my property with underground conduits connecting the pole to the electric meter panel and then to the house and shop. I would like to have the overhead line removed and transfer the TV and Internet lines underground through the conduits. Additionally, I would need an extra cable box installed in the shop.

I recently received a text message claiming to be from Spectrum, offering an iPad tablet after completing a survey and paying $1. I complied, only to find out another company charged me $30 without authorization. Their contact information turned out to be invalid, and I realized I had fallen for a scam by associating it with Spectrum. I now need to close my bank account due to this fraudulent activity. My experience with Spectrum service has been disappointing. I have been a customer for over five years, dating back to when you were Charter in Cottage Grove, OR. I've had unreliable service since the switch. After calling for a technician months ago, it was discovered that an incorrect filter had been installed by your past technicians, affecting my internet speed. I was also paying more for slower speed compared to my neighbors. The technician found my line needed replacement as well.
To make up for the past issues, Spectrum offered me a reduced rate for faster [redacted] Mbps service. However, recently I found out my personal modem was impeding the speeds after upgrading plans. Spectrum did not inform me about the need to upgrade my modem.
After a trip to the Roseburg store, I was given a router instead of a modem, causing confusion and a follow-up call to tech support. Although I had an issue with scheduling a technician visit, I managed to arrange to have a modem mailed to me.
I request that the store clerk who gave me the wrong equipment be contacted, follow-up on the missed appointment, and ensure my rates reflect the discounts I should be receiving. I believe the government rural subsidy and a 6-month discount are not being applied correctly.
As a long-standing customer, I hope for better service going forward.

I have been experiencing ongoing difficulty reaching Jamaica for several months. Spectrum initially informed me that the issue would be resolved within 7 days, but it took approximately 14 days for the connection to be restored. Unfortunately, the problem has resurfaced since Friday, March 3. Despite speaking to a representative and explaining that sending signals to my modem has not resolved the issue in the past, the technical department continues to suggest this solution. I believe there may be a larger underlying problem that requires attention beyond simply sending signals to the modem.

I have faced multiple issues since my phone number was changed twice unexpectedly. Recently, I received a new package including TV, internet, and phone after my previous promotional offer expired.
