I frequently shop at Sobeys and have always been a satisfied customer until today. While shopping for Almond Flour at the Namao location in Edmonton, I noticed that the store had three different prices for the same 453g bag of Almond Flour: $13.49, $14.19, and $17.49. Naturally, I chose the cheapest option assuming it might be older stock. However, at the checkout, the bags scanned at $17.49 each. I pointed out the price discrepancy to the cashier, who then called the manager. The manager initially insisted on the $17.49 price, citing product codes and age variations. Despite selecting from the $13.49 section, I was eventually offered both bags for $13.99 after a lengthy discussion. Though I accepted this resolution, the situation caused inconvenience to other customers in line. The cashier empathized with me, but I believe the handling of the situation could have been more respectful to all parties involved. I'm not seeking anything in return but felt it was important to address the inconsistent pricing at the store. Prices displayed should be honored accurately to avoid customer dissatisfaction.

Every fortnight, I treat myself to some bouquets from Sobeys for their quality. Despite occasionally receiving subpar flowers, last weekend's dozen pink roses failed to bloom. Disappointed, I returned three roses to the Oshawa Sobeys at Wilson and Taunton and showed them the issue with a photo. Surprisingly, they required a receipt for proof of purchase, which I didn't keep. Even more frustrating was when the manager, who I was directed to, was unhelpful. I feel compelled to share this experience as I'm now reconsidering my flower purchases from Sobeys.

I slipped on a huge puddle of water at the store located at 94 Bridgeport Road East, Waterloo, ON N2J 2J4. The water was there due to negligence, without any warning sign. Startled, I fell and called out in shock. A bakery employee rushed to my aid and helped me up. However, when I spoke with the Manager, Shawn Bergman, he provided a very unsatisfactory response. He showed no remorse for the accident caused by the store’s negligence and was rude, rushing me out without an apology. When I requested a copy of the accident report, he denied it and even refused to take a statement from the bakery employee. I feel disrespected as a customer and believe action should be taken to prevent similar incidents and behavior towards others.

I am writing for my brother who lives alone and takes muscle relaxers for his back. He is 74 years old and lives in a senior complex. Last weekend, the usual place where he gets his pills was closed early due to Halloween, so I had to go to Sobeys in Glacé Bay to buy them. I wasn't aware of the price difference at first, but I soon realized there was a significant increase. The pills are $9.99 at Guardian and $18.99 at Sobeys, which seems like a price hike. I would appreciate if he could be refunded the overcharged amount. As he has no family besides me, he relies on my assistance, and his limited pension doesn't stretch far. I hope you understand the situation. I am reaching out on his behalf as he values your store for his needs. Thank you.
