For the past three days, I have been experiencing an issue with sound when recording videos on Snapchat. When I try to record, there is initially a static noise, followed by complete silence. I have already tried reinstalling the app multiple times, restarting my phone, toggling the mute button, adjusting Snapchat microphone settings, and even tested recording with my phone's camera (iPhone 5s) - which worked fine. Interestingly, when my friend used my Snapchat account on her phone, the sound worked perfectly. However, even after using her account on my phone, the issue persists. I need help reaching out to Snapchat customer service. I'm dealing with a lost streak that I believe was mistakenly removed from my account. I had a significant streak that I value, and I'm willing to pay a fee through Apple Pay if necessary to have it restored. I suspect this issue arose following a recent update. Hello, my Snapchat account has been temporarily locked. I believe I know the reason. I unintentionally used a 3rd-party app on an older device as I couldn't access the app store. I downloaded what I thought was the regular Snapchat from the internet instead of the app store, not realizing it was an altered version. I have removed the 3rd-party app and still can't unlock my account. I am concerned about the duration of being locked out as I have many memories saved on my camera roll and important messages to check. Thank you.

I have forgotten my Snapchat account due to resetting my phone multiple times. My Snapchat username is "crankyfucker," and I have important memories stored in that account. Although I didn't engage much in streaks, I mostly used the app to take selfies. This morning at 8 am, my account was hacked. I received a scam link on Facebook and used the same password for both accounts. Although they didn't change the password, they added an authentication app which locked me out. After contacting Snapchat Support, I followed a link to change my password, but despite changing it, I got an email saying it had been reset without my consent. They also removed my phone number and hacked my email, preventing me from receiving any recovery links. Now, I can't use the "I forgot my password" feature on Snapchat. I would like to share a marketing idea with Snapchat. It could introduce an "ego boost" feature by offering special filters available for short periods during the day. For example, users online at 1:59 AM on March 14th (Pi Day) could access a "super pi" filter for just that minute. Similar filters could be available at times like 4:20 on 4/20 or 11:11 on November 11th. These exclusive filters could make users feel special and encourage them to engage more. While Snapchat already has limited-time filters, this concept adds an element of surprise and excitement based on the time of day. I believe this idea may have been considered before, but I wanted to show some user support for it!

I am experiencing an issue where most of my streaks are not showing up on my phone. Despite sending snaps to everyone I have streaks with, the app is only displaying less than ten streaks out of my total of ***. Many of these streaks were over *** days, with almost all exceeding *** days. Losing these streaks has been a disappointment for me. I am hopeful that Snapchat will address this situation appropriately by restoring my streaks. Reinstating my streaks is the fair solution in my view. I have been diligent in sending snaps to all contacts marked with a dot next to their name. For instance, I would add a dot in front of "Snapchat" if we had a streak. After deactivating my account, I decided to reactivate it, but I'm encountering issues logging back in. The message displayed says my account is in the process of deactivation and that I would be notified when it's successfully completed, but I never received such an email.
