Dear Sir or Madam, I will be flying with your airline on September 11th. I have read that the maximum size for carry-on luggage should be 40cm x 20cm x 25cm. However, my carry-on measures 40cm x 25cm x approximately 10cm. Inside this bag, I have my breathing device that I need for the night. Will I be able to bring this through without major issues? Thank you for your information. Kind regards, Andreas B.

To whom it may concern, I, Noelle Hartley, have a return flight booked from Dublin to Sofia, Bulgaria (Booking Reference: SG8ZSC). Currently, I am undergoing various medical tests including a CT scan, ultrasound, and MRI. After discussing my travel plans with my oncologist, I learned that further investigations are required due to inconclusive test results. This unexpected medical situation has created uncertainty about my future. I kindly request to put my trip on hold or inquire about the possibility of a refund, considering the circumstances. Thank you for your understanding. Warm regards, Noelle Hartley

We had a booking on Ryanair FR1174 for August 23, [redacted]. Upon arriving at the airport 2 1/2 hours early and providing a parking receipt as proof, we encountered long lines at check-in with only two agents for multiple flights. Despite having assigned seating, we were unexpectedly prevented from boarding after going through security and passport control due to a lack of operational scanners and gates. Despite 30 minutes remaining until departure, we were denied boarding along with 30 other passengers. The Ryanair employees engaged in a dispute with us for 20 minutes, resulting in us having to make costly alternative travel arrangements. We have reached out to Xcover travel insurance, but they have not accepted our claim. We feel incredibly let down by Ryanair and their insurance company's lack of accountability for this situation.

I encountered an issue while trying to complete the Ryanair verification form online. Despite using both my French passport and my husband's British passport for verification, the system keeps showing an error message prompting me to contact my provider. I attempted using different devices and software without success. Even after consulting my mobile provider and an IT Assistant at the library, the problem persists. My main concern is verifying my ID to receive my booking confirmation without incurring additional fees at the airport. I am willing to pay the extra charge if necessary to avoid the 55-pound fee imposed at the airport.

I was supposed to start my holiday on September 13th. I had plans to drive through France and take an overnight ferry from near Monaco to Mallorca with my friends, a married couple who have a house in Soller, Mallorca. They were going to stay for 5 weeks. I had booked my return flight from Palma Mallorca to Leeds Bradford for Friday, September 22nd departing at 12:15 and arriving at 13:55. Unfortunately, on September 8th, Owen, the gentleman who owns the house in Soller with his wife Wendy, was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. As a result, we need to cancel our holiday. I am seeking a refund for my flight costing [redacted].44 euros (approximately [redacted].20 pounds). This situation is beyond our control, and I am also trying to seek refunds from the ferry and hotel. Your assistance in refunding this money would be greatly appreciated. Glenys T.

Dear Customer Service, I am currently on my inaugural Ryanair flight from Rome to Catania at 2:40 pm on September 17th, flight number FR4858. Sadly, my life has been inundated with various challenges, most notably the recent loss of my wife after a prolonged battle with cancer. Regrettably, I failed to check in online as I assumed I could do so at the Rome airport check-in counter. The unexpected charge of 60.50 Euros for not completing online check-in has greatly upset me. This policy appears unique among airlines and the penalty for this oversight appears excessive. While I understand the importance of adhering to the rules going forward, I kindly request your compassion in refunding the 60 Euros to offset this unfortunate experience. The recent losses of my wife and brother have taken a toll on me, and these minor setbacks further impact my emotional well-being. I trust that you can help restore my confidence in a fair resolution given the circumstances. Sincerely, Luciano D.

During my booking with Ryanair, there was no mention that the issue date of my passport would be relevant for travel to the EU. My passport was issued on 06 September [redacted] and expires on 06 June [redacted]. Only at check-in was I asked about the passport expiry date and whether it was over ten years old, which it was by two weeks. I was not allowed to fly due to the new rule requiring the passport issue date to be within ten years. I am now seeking a refund for my flight cost. It seems that many passengers are unaware of this new requirement. Shouldn't the airline inform customers about this rule regarding the passport issue date?

My sister made an online booking for me, and now I am being asked to go through a validation process due to it being a third-party booking. I have completed all the necessary steps, but the system is not accepting the photo I uploaded after multiple attempts. The help numbers provided were not working when I tried to call. I need assistance with validating my ticket as I cannot purchase a new one or cancel the existing booking until this is resolved, despite payment already being taken from my sister.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Refusal to Board RyanAir Flight Dear RyanAir Customer Service, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent experience at Nador Airport on September 15, [redacted]. I was refused boarding on flight FR3156 without a valid reason. This situation has caused me inconvenience and concern about your airline's service quality. Despite arriving early and presenting all required documents, including my ticket, ID, Visa, and Permanent Resident Card, I was denied boarding without explanation. The staff's lack of cooperation and refusal to provide clarification left me confused and distressed. The financial loss from the unused tickets and the disruption to my travel plans have been significant. Witnessing others with similar documents board without issue added to my frustration. This experience has tarnished my view of your airline's professionalism and customer service. I urge RyanAir to investigate this matter thoroughly and address it promptly to restore my trust in your airline. I have attached all relevant documents and can be reached at [redacted] or +[redacted]3 for further information. Sincerely, Sara Oukouis

I hold a Romanian asylum passport based on the Geneva Convention of [redacted]. I have traveled to multiple European countries like Austria, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Czechia on Austrian Airlines and Wizz Air. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with your company's travel policy as I was not allowed to board the flight without a visa. This led to me losing my tickets to Austria and having to rebook on Austrian Airlines. Similarly, my family faced the same problem traveling to Germany. Despite my ability to visit other countries in Europe, I face restrictions when using your services. I kindly request your attention to this matter and hope for a resolution as I frequently travel to Vienna to visit my family and face challenges only with your company. I urge you to acknowledge the rights provided by the Geneva Convention of [redacted] for asylum passport holders like myself. Thank you for your consideration.

Hello. I purchased two tickets through the "Buy Ticket" website Tel Aviv - Thessaloniki (El Al) and back Thessaloniki - Tel Aviv (Ryanair), the ticket price included payment of $58 for 2x10 kg of carry-on baggage of specified dimensions, as indicated in the receipt and the e-ticket. The departure with El Al went smoothly without issues. However, upon departure from Thessaloniki during boarding the Ryanair flight, a staff member asked us to pay an additional 92 euros for baggage, claiming it was not paid for, despite the receipt showing the payment. They also mentioned tickets should only be bought through their company, accusing the ticket seller of misleading us. This raises the question of why the intermediary "Buy Ticket" sells Ryanair flights if they are not authorized. I have contacted the companies about this issue, but the responses did not address the payment discrepancy. It seems like a blatant violation of consumer rights. I am seeking assistance in reclaiming the unlawfully held 92 euros. Thank you.

I needed to urgently book a flight to Dublin from Leeds and Bradford Airport upon learning about my daughter's husband passing on September 15th. Funerals in Ireland usually happen within 3-4 days due to EU regulations. At 79 and 80 years old, my wife and I found booking flights stressful but managed. My passport had expired the day we booked the September 17th flight, while my wife's was valid. Despite Google stating passports were not required and alternative IDs could suffice, Ryanair told me otherwise when I called. The representative, Noreen, insisted I couldn't fly without a valid passport, leaving us no choice but to cancel. She was unhelpful and unapologetic, asserting we could not cancel the booking made just three hours prior. We had to resort to taking a ferry to Ireland for the funeral, incurring additional expenses. While we were able to claim back car hire insurance, the whole ordeal was distressing and disappointing. I am seeking a refund for the unused flight and criticizing Ryanair's booking system for not flagging the passport issue upfront.

I purchased tickets for my wife and me from your esteemed company from Madrid to Brussels round trip. On the return date, I went to the airport as scheduled only to find out that the flight was cancelled due to airport workers' strike. I did not receive any notification from your end regarding this, resulting in me traveling [redacted] kilometers to the airport by taxi and making the same journey back in another cab. When I requested a new return booking, your company did not have flights available at a close date, forcing me to book with another airline at a higher cost. I have not received any compensation for the tickets for my wife and me, nor for the taxi fares. The flight number is FR6672 on 9/11/[redacted].

Dear Ryanair, I traveled with your airline from Marrakesh to Berlin on September 1st, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I fell ill during the flight and was unable to wait for my suitcase at the airport. I misplaced the luggage claim ticket as well. I visited Berlin airport in an attempt to locate my suitcase, and with the assistance of a kind lady, I searched for about an hour but to no avail. She informed me that unclaimed luggage is sent to London Stansted by Ryanair. I am in urgent need of my suitcase as it contains keys to my office. The luggage is a dark red Samsonite piece, the size of carry-on baggage, which I checked in at Marrakesh airport. I am confident it made it to Berlin; I simply missed collecting it on time. Can anyone assist in locating my suitcase? My Reference Number is QBQ55F. Thank you, Birgit D.

Our flight FR [redacted] from Santiago to Madrid on September 19 was unexpectedly canceled, with notification only at 8.30 pm the night before. To make our Madrid connection, we had to take a train. Despite attempts since September 20, obtaining our refund has been challenging. Initially, we completed various forms and contacted customer service numerous times following their instructions to wait a week, then another. The lack of communication has left us questioning Ryanair's credibility. What steps should we take next to resolve this issue? Thank you for your assistance.

I have received conflicting information about the online check-in time for our upcoming flight. Our paperwork indicates 48 hours before the flight, but online it states 24 hours. The requirement to check in at least 2 hours before the flight to avoid a booking fee at the airport is also highlighted. I am concerned about potential issues with the online booking system within this limited time frame. Four of us are flying from Leeds/Bradford at 9:35 am on Wednesday, October 11th to Portugal. Thank you.

I had a flight with Ryanair that got rescheduled to arrive at midnight, so I decided to cancel it and request a refund. Ryanair claimed I booked through an agent, which isn't true since my bank statement clearly shows I paid Ryanair London directly. Despite this, they were uncooperative. I later discovered that Ryanair frequently uses this excuse to avoid giving refunds. The booking was for two people on December 11th, [redacted], costing £[redacted].70, with the payment made on May 3rd, [redacted], reference number 224V8LT4S.

I paid £46 for excess baggage and also had a handbag with my jewelry taken out of my bag because the ground hostess insisted it go in the hold instead of allowing me to take it on board. Alicante is blaming Manchester, and Manchester is blaming Alicante, leaving me with no assistance or recourse. I am unable to claim on my insurance without a crime number since the police attributed the fault to the airline. Some pieces of jewelry were expensive, but most were costume items. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding my refund request not related to government taxes. I chose to address this here as I couldn't find where to ask my question. My concern is with the ticket I purchased from Ryanair, which I was unable to confirm because Ryanair refused to let me board. I understand Ryanair's right to refuse a passenger, but I also have the right to get my money back. I paid for a service that Ryanair has denied me. My Bookings: ZNPWYA and LDWC8Y. If you refused to let me board, it is only fair that I should receive a refund. It was not the authorities of the departure or arrival country who denied me boarding, but Ryanair. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, I am Giovanni C., a passenger on flight [redacted] from Bergamo to Catania. I wish to report an incident involving a crew member, Mr. Giuseppe. Upon boarding, I found my overhead compartment occupied by bags from other rows. Politely, I asked Mr. Giuseppe if I could store my bag in the nearby empty compartments near seat 18. He refused, stating they were reserved for specific seats. When I questioned why bags from different seats were there, his response was dismissive and rude. Throughout the flight, his attitude towards me was confrontational, making me feel uncomfortable and unprotected as a passenger. I wanted to bring this matter to your attention. Thank you.
