My flight scheduled for 8/7 was canceled today. I have tried to reroute it online but have been unsuccessful. There seems to be no available phone number for assistance as the calls don't go through and I keep getting disconnected due to high call volume. I believe that receiving a cancellation notice only five days prior is not compliant with regulations, especially considering I paid for my ticket back in January. I am willing to change my destination under the same conditions; however, I am finding it difficult to reach the airline. I work full-time and cannot afford to have my holiday plans disrupted. I suspect the given reason for the cancellation is dishonest, as European restrictions have been largely lifted. It appears to me that the flight didn't have enough bookings, having worked in ticketing for Emirates, I understand the industry dynamics. I am eager to find a resolution as my dad's 75th birthday is approaching, and I cannot risk having more flights canceled. I already have 3 vouchers from previous disruptions and prefer not to receive another one. Thank you.

Hello, I booked a flight from Kerry, Ireland to Manchester in January [redacted] with Ryanair. Due to COVID-19, I need to change the flight dates. The Ryanair website states that the charges for changing flight dates are waived. However, when I try to change the dates on the "Manage My Bookings" section, I am being shown a fee for changing. I have not proceeded with the change yet. I have attempted to contact Ryanair through their help desk and phone line for several days without success. The flight reservation is H2Y9JV for departure on 26/07/20 and return on 27/09/20. I would like to change the dates to depart on 09/08/20 and return on 23/08/20. As I am checking, the flights are currently showing no price difference, so it should be a simple amendment. Thank you for your time. Best, Nigel

My booking details for a flight from TLV to Vienna on July 9 under ref # RCWTUX and the return flight from Vienna to TLV on July 15 under ref # W9BG3D with Ryanair were made on July 3, [redacted]. Due to the Covid-19 situation, I am unable to fly to Vienna. Despite numerous attempts via chat and email, Ryanair has not provided any assistance. According to Ryanair's FAQ, customers can change their flight dates at no extra cost for travel until December 31, [redacted], if booked for July & August. I am seeking to change my flight dates without incurring additional charges, as it is unreasonable to expect me to pay extra given the circumstances. It is the airline's responsibility to rebook my flights considering the travel restrictions in place.

Subject: Urgent Refund Inquiry for Ryanair Flight R5UB6J Dear Ryanair, I am reaching out to follow up on my refund request for the cancelled flights to Krakow as per your email. I submitted the form on 02/05/20 and was informed I would receive the refund within 20 working days, which passed on 01/06/20. It is now 08/07/20, 27 days overdue. While I understand the challenges posed by the current situation, it has been six months since you received our funds without providing any service. Kindly provide a definite date for the refund to avoid involving our credit card company. Awaiting your prompt response, Laura and David Brown

Extension of Quarantine in Dublin from July 9 to July 20 Hello, The quarantine in Ireland has been extended, preventing us from traveling there for tourism this weekend. Our flights are scheduled for July 11 and 14. Given the Irish government's recent exceptional measures, what options do we have in this situation? Thank you in advance for your response and understanding. Best regards, Adèle P. Benoit S.

Hello, I hope you're well. In January, my wife and I made a reservation for return flights from Manchester to Bratislava with the booking reference Z8BZJW. Our outbound flight is scheduled for the 7th of August, and we are due to return on the 12th of August. Our trip was planned to attend the Moto GP motorcycle race event, which is now taking place without spectators due to Covid-19 restrictions. I would like to inquire about the possibility of receiving a refund for our flights or obtaining a voucher for future travel. Thank you for your help. M. Fewkes

Due to the impact of COVID-19, all of our bookings, including our upcoming stay in Liverpool, have been canceled. We had planned to use your airline for our flight from Dublin to Liverpool. Given the current situation surrounding the virus, it appears unlikely that we will be able to travel to Europe as planned. We would appreciate either a refund or a credit to use for a future flight possibly next year. Our confirmation number is: D2IBJS, booked under the name Victoria C.. We are grateful for your prompt attention to this matter as we have encountered difficulty reaching your airline and our trip is scheduled for next week. Thank you for your assistance.

My father flew from Manchester Airport to Lisbon, Portugal on July 7, [redacted], on flight number FR2252 with booking reference 0842MW. Unfortunately, his suitcase did not arrive in Lisbon. When my brother visited the lost property desk, they did not provide any information or a Property Irregularity Report. They only mentioned that they would email him with updates. My father, who has Parkinson's disease, urgently needs his medication which was in the suitcase. I would appreciate any advice on what our next steps should be.

I called to inquire about the status of my Ryanair flight on July 11th due to the recent announcement by the Moroccan government delaying the opening of borders until July 14th for residents only. After waiting 40 minutes on the phone, exceeding the promised 20-minute wait time, I ran out of credit without getting an answer, which was frustrating. I hope to receive confirmation in advance if the flight is still scheduled to avoid unnecessary expenses and stress, similar to what happened to my friend in March. I do not wish to incur costs for transportation and accommodation if the flight is canceled without prior notice. Please confirm the departure of the flight to prevent any inconvenience. Thank you. Sincerely, Gillian B., London Stansted to Essaouira Reservation: PZUVYB.

Hello, I have a query regarding our return flight booking from Catania with the reservation number CZYTPL. The return journey (Catania-Vienna) is experiencing a delay of approximately 7 hours. If we decide to cancel the reservation and request a refund, would we be refunded for both flights or just the return leg? Alternatively, could you provide information on the refund amount we would receive if we were to cancel both the outbound and return flights? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Peter K.

I am frustrated as I have been trying to reach Ryanair's customer service for several hours on multiple days without success. My family of six is scheduled to fly from Edinburgh on Flight FR6626 on July 17th and return from Lanzarote on July 24th. Due to the quarantine regulations in Scotland, we are unable to take the trip as it would result in additional time off work which could jeopardize our employment. We are hoping to change our flights to July [redacted] considering the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. We had booked these flights last November and were eagerly anticipating our vacation. My grandsons are particularly disappointed about missing out on their holiday. We believe that given the situation, it would be reasonable for Ryanair to accommodate our request to reschedule our flights.

I had a flight to Malta booked for May [redacted] with RYANAIR that was canceled due to coronavirus. Initially, they offered me a cash refund for the full amount via email. Despite filling out the form twice, I have not received any communication from them regarding the refund. They then offered vouchers, which I cannot accept due to uncertainties about my health condition and when I will be able to fly again. I have explained in subsequent emails that I prefer a full refund, not vouchers, but have yet to hear back from RYANAIR. This lack of response and delay in refund processing is disappointing and unacceptable. I am Margaret Dudman, the flight details are FR8853 from Stanstead to Malta on May 13, [redacted], and FR8852 from Malta to Stanstead on May 21, [redacted], with a total paid amount of £[redacted].90. I expect a prompt reply and refund in accordance with my consumer rights and as promised by RYANAIR. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated as a dissatisfied customer concerned about the handling of refunds during these challenging times.

We had a canceled flight with reservation number YYISTN and attempted to reschedule for departure on the 20th and return on the 27th of December at no cost as stated. However, upon entering the required details, we encountered a significant change fee on top of a higher new flight price. Seeking a refund was also unsuccessful as we were informed our daughter cannot travel alone, impeding the refund process. This situation seems to deviate from the original policy of free flight changes for canceled flights.

Last year, I arranged a group booking for flights to Beziers, France for a family holiday. Our party included my wife, daughter, son, and their families, totaling 10 people. Unfortunately, Ryanair canceled our Bristol flights six weeks ago, which disrupted our entire holiday plan. This cancellation forced us to incur additional costs and inconvenience as we had to consider alternative travel arrangements from Stansted. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Ryanair over the past 6 weeks, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue. While I spoke to an operator twice, I was directed to use the website contact form for assistance. I submitted a detailed request via the form five weeks ago but have not received a response yet. As the flight dates approach, I am growing increasingly anxious about the situation as the value of the Stansted flights exceeds £1,[redacted]. Any help or advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I and my spouse have flights scheduled from Porto to Manchester on 28/08/[redacted] with reference V96B8D. Due to Ryanair canceling our Manchester to Faro flights on 13/08/[redacted] (reference R1EG4Y), we need to alter or cancel our upcoming flights. Originally, we planned to travel from the Algarve to Porto and spend a few days there to commemorate our Golden Wedding Anniversary, a plan that is no longer feasible. Even though I rescheduled the Manchester to Faro flights for August next year, I was unexpectedly charged a cancellation fee, despite being assured by Ryanair that no such charge would apply. I attempted to change the Porto to Manchester flights to next year but refrained due to facing another cancellation fee, contradicting the online booking information that stated there would be no such charge. I have reached out to Ryanair customer service via email, chatline, and phone, but have not yet received a satisfactory response or resolution. I kindly request assistance in obtaining a refund for the cancellation fee incurred for the Faro flight in [redacted] and clarification on potential charges for changing the Porto to Manchester flights to August [redacted]. It appears that our Faro flights on 14/08/[redacted] were canceled prematurely by Ryanair, preventing us and our family from using our timeshare apartments, which expire next year, and celebrating our milestone anniversary, a highly disappointing situation.

I am inquiring about the status of my refund for my cancelled flight with Ryanair using booking reference PEYZ4B. On March 30, [redacted], I received an email from Ryanair Cancellations informing me that my flight from London to Rome on April 20, [redacted], was cancelled. I chose a full refund and filled out the necessary form, submitting it on March 31, [redacted]. I received an acknowledgment email from Ryanair Cancellations on April 1, [redacted]. Despite sending three reminder emails to Ryanair, I have not received my refund even after almost four months. I am seeking a clear timeline for when I can expect to receive the refund.

Dear Ryanair, Subject: Booking P2117Y London Stansted - Girona return 28 July [redacted] - 02 August [redacted] My flights to Girona were scheduled for July 11, [redacted]. Due to the recent change in FCO advice against non-essential travel, our travel insurance is no longer valid, and we are unable to proceed with the flight. Although you advertised that flights could be changed free of charge during this period, we are facing flight change fees when attempting to make adjustments online. I have made several attempts to contact your helpline, but unfortunately, I have been unable to hold for assistance as the lines are busy. Could you please provide clarification on the following: 1. Can you refund the flights or allow a penalty-free flight change, possibly in the form of vouchers? Urgent response required for flight change. 2. Is it possible to obtain a refund for the government tax on the unused flights separately? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, Tim L.
