Ross-Simons.com Customer Service Issues

I ordered a 3-stone amethyst ring in size 7, but received a size 6 ring instead. After requesting an exchange, the company sent it for resizing instead. The expected exchange timeframe of 7 - 10 days has passed, and customer service cited a snowstorm as the reason for the delay. I am concerned that resizing may affect the stones, and I am currently out about $[redacted].
