I purchased a Redmi Note7 a couple of months ago. I am experiencing issues with the placement of the "base Buttons: Recent, Home & Back buttons" when typing. They are too close to the keyboard, causing screen malfunctions due to their hypersensitivity. This is particularly challenging for individuals with big fingers or thumbs, as we operate with two thumbs while typing on the Redmi Note7's large screen. I suggest an update to the software that allows the hiding of the base button keys when typing, similar to the assistive ball function. This could prevent the screen malfunctions and enhance the user experience. Regarding call blocking, I was disappointed to discover that in order to block a phone number, the entire contact list needs to be blocked. This seems unreasonable. I propose a software update that allows for individual contact preferences for call blocking. I am a fan of the Redmi Note7 and hope these challenges can be addressed to ensure an excellent user experience. Best, Mat

I bought a Redmi Note 7 a couple of months ago. My issue is that when typing messages, the "base Buttons: Recent, Home & Back buttons are too close to the Keyboard." This proximity often causes the screen to malfunction because these buttons can be hypersensitive. This is especially troublesome for users with larger fingers or thumbs, like me, who need to use both thumbs to type on the Redmi Note 7 due to its size. I hope there can be a software update that allows the 3 base buttons to hide while typing, similar to the assistive ball that can be hidden when not in use and brought back by sliding when needed. This would prevent the screen issues from occurring. I also had an issue with Call Blocking on the Redmi Note 7. To block a phone number, I had to "Block all of your entire Contact List!" This seems unreasonable. I only wanted to block one contact, but the current system requires blocking all contacts to do so. I hope a software update can address this by adding a specific preference mode for call blocking on individual contacts. I love my new Redmi Note 7, and I believe addressing these challenges will enhance the overall experience for users like me. Best regards, Mat

I recently purchased a Redmi Note 7, and I am experiencing a frustrating issue with the navigation buttons being too close to the keyboard, causing the screen to malfunction. The Recent, Home, and Back buttons are hypersensitive, especially for those with larger fingers or thumbs. I suggest an update that hides these buttons while typing, similar to the assistive ball feature. I am also disappointed with the Call Blocking feature on the Redmi Note 7, as it requires blocking the entire contact list to block a single number. This seems unreasonable. Can a software update provide a more personalized call blocking option for individual contacts? I am fond of my new Redmi Note 7 and would appreciate these improvements to enhance the overall user experience. Regards, Mat

My Redmi Note4 screen is partially broken, causing issues with the touch functionality. I had used AppLock for some apps but due to the damage, I can't enter the full 4-digit password. I remember parts of it, but the broken screen makes it challenging to input certain numbers correctly. This has been causing me a lot of inconvenience. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could assist me in either unlocking the apps or resetting the password quickly. For example, the current password might be "[redacted]," but I have difficulty typing digits 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8 reliably. Your prompt help would be truly valued.

I received my MI A2 mobile on 27.07.[redacted] from Flipkart. Unfortunately, it had a display issue when receiving calls, with only the ring sound working. After visiting the Rajahmundry service center, they mentioned a motherboard problem, lacking the parts to repair it promptly. After following their advice, I went to the Kakinada service center, where they fixed a software issue. However, the problem reoccurred after approximately 4 hours. With multiple repairs within 33 days, I am very dissatisfied with this phone and kindly request a replacement. Order ID: OD[redacted][redacted]0, dated 24.07.[redacted]. Thank you, A.Govind Kumar Rajahmundry Mobile No.[redacted]

I recently bought the Mi 7 Pro, but unfortunately, I am facing issues with the phone. I visited the Mi store I purchased from within 7 days of purchase. They advised me to go to the Mi service store in Baroda, which is 30 KM away. Due to heavy rain and floods in Baroda for 3 to 4 days, I could only reach the service center after two days. The officer there updated my phone's software, but the problem recurred the next day. When I tried to return on a Monday, the shop was closed. Today, I revisited the service center, asking for a replacement, but the store keeper did not agree. I spent [redacted]/- on this phone, but the service experience has been disappointing. I need guidance on what steps to take next.

I own a Redmi Note 5 Pro. Last month, my phone suddenly shut down and wouldn't turn on. I took it to a Mi service center, where they said the motherboard was damaged and needed a week to fix. They advised me to leave the phone with them or hold onto it until they had a replacement motherboard. Surprisingly, when I got home, the phone turned on after I followed the on-screen instructions. After a week, I called to check on the motherboard only to learn they had it in stock. When I visited the center, they checked the phone, found no issues, and advised me that the motherboard replacement wasn't necessary. Recently, my camera stopped working, and when I returned to the center, they said it was damaged and couldn't be fixed under warranty. I'm unsure what to do next.

I am having trouble getting a response via email or phone regarding my query about order #[redacted]. The delay has caused inconvenience due to an error on your end. It has been over 2 weeks since I lodged a complaint, but there has been no confirmation of an exchange. Despite my numerous attempts to confirm, there has been no response. After waiting for a week, I began using the product, but now, without any notice, someone has come to retrieve it, even though I am content with keeping it since I have already started using it.

I am experiencing an issue where the voice of the person on the other end of the call keeps echoing back to them when I connect using my Redmi Note 7s. Initially, I thought it might be due to weather conditions, but the problem persists regardless of the weather. It happens on both incoming and outgoing calls consistently. I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve this ongoing problem with the echoing voice during calls. Thank you.

My name is S. Bhuvaneswari, and I bought a Redmi Y3 mobile from the Mi store online on October 8th. My order ID is [redacted][redacted]. Today, when I inserted my sim card and installed apps, I noticed issues with the camera. The photos appear upside down, and even the icons in the camera settings are upside down as well. I contacted customer care, and they advised me to perform hardware tests and clear the cache in the camera app. However, the problem persisted even after following their suggestions. After a factory reset didn't fix the issue, I visited the MI service center at Radiant E Serve in T. Nagar. They confirmed that it is a manufacturing defect and recommended a replacement for the mobile. I kindly request prompt resolution of this issue and replacement of the faulty mobile phone.

Dear Sir/Madam, I, Nitin Kumar, am a loyal user of MI products. I have used various MI phones and currently, my family owns 4 MI phones. However, I am now disappointed with MI's service. I recently purchased a Redmi K20 and was satisfied with its updated software. Unfortunately, after charging the phone for 30 minutes, the screen stopped working. I visited several service centers in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi, but none agreed to repair it under warranty. Some mentioned that the screen was out of stock for the Redmi K20, while others claimed that this issue wasn't covered under warranty. I am reaching out to you to address this matter urgently so that I can continue enjoying uninterrupted service from MI. I have attached a copy of the bill for your reference. Thank you, Nitin Kumar

An error occurred in the app upon resuming the activity due to a NullPointerException. This issue seems to stem from a failure in delivering a result, resulting in a null pointer exception in the Consumer_Reading_Activity. The error trace indicates that the problem lies within the onActivityResult method in the Consumer_Reading_Activity class. It seems to be related to file initialization at line [redacted]. The stack trace highlights that the issue originates from the deliverResults method in the ActivityThread. This error needs to be addressed to ensure the proper functioning of the app.

I encountered a runtime exception with the following error message while attempting to execute a background task in Java. The exception is linked to a null object reference when trying to invoke the 'getResponseCode()' method within the 'LockPatternUtils' class. This issue seems to be occurring during the verification of a lock pattern in the Android settings. It is likely related to a verification check on the device's lock screen credentials. The error trace indicates that the AsyncTask is unable to complete the task due to the null value encountered. This error may require further investigation to identify and rectify the cause of the null pointer exception in the verification process.

I purchased a Xiaomi LED Mi 4A Pro 32 TV from Sathya Agencies Tuticorin on 04.8.19 for Rs13310 in cash. It was installed by them and used by a single person for two days. Within three months, I have contacted your service center three times. They recently informed me that the board is damaged and need to be replaced within 10 days. My family and I are satisfied with our Mi Mobiles, but I am disappointed with this TV. I am hoping for a prompt response on how you can assist me with this issue.

Subject: Redmi Note 5 Pro Screen Repair Inquiry I am writing in regards to my Redmi Note 5 Pro black phone with a broken screen. Despite being under warranty, the customer care quoted a repair expense of Rs [redacted] plus taxes. However, a local customer care outlet near Kotak Bank in Baramati gave an estimate of Rs [redacted] without even examining the phone properly, which was disappointing. Why does Redmi require the costly replacement of both display and screen when only the screen is damaged? I inquired at a trusted repair shop where the total cost was Rs [redacted] and another center quoted Rs [redacted] for a genuine replacement. I believe Redmi should conduct a thorough examination before suggesting high repair prices. Do you offer any discounts for phones within the warranty period, and why the disparity in repair costs among different service providers? Thank you, Pankaj D. Email: [redacted]

I recently purchased a mobile on October 20, [redacted]. However, there seems to be an issue with the battery. It shows full charge for only 5 to 10 minutes. Due to this frustrating experience, I have decided not to purchase any more devices from this brand or from Flipkart. I would advise my friends and family against buying Mi brand products. I have reached out to Mi Customer Care multiple times during the warranty period, but the responses have not been satisfactory. Despite the warranty, they ask for a Rs. [redacted] charge for service. I am considering purchasing from brands like Samsung, Oppo, or Vivo in the future. I have bought three Mi brand mobiles for my family, and unfortunately, all of them have faced similar battery problems without any proper resolution from customer service. Phone: +[redacted]11

I haven't encountered any problems with my Redmi 8 mobile phone. As a customer, I have an idea to enhance security by incorporating a fingerprint unlock feature. Recently, my phone was stolen, and it raised concerns about my personal information being compromised. Considering this issue, I suggest introducing a sensor on the full display that enables only my fingerprint to unlock the Redmi phone, ensuring its security. Introducing a model like this in the future, perhaps named the Redmi Ree, could potentially prevent unauthorized usage and safeguard user data better.

Hello, I recently purchased a Redmi Note 8 Pro from the Mi shop, but I am facing some issues. The noise cancellation feature isn't working during calls, there is no vibration mode, and everything is on silent mode, affecting messages and calls. The device only shows sound or silent mode options. Additionally, Alexa is not functioning. Even during calls, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has unclear audio for both the receiver and caller. I kindly request corrections to be made during the next mobile update. Thank you.
