Hello, I purchased the MI Note5 Pro in June 21st. On July 7th, I put it in a plastic bag with a ziplock underneath my raincoat. Unfortunately, it got damaged on my way home. I reached out to the MI service center on July 9th due to technical server issues hindering them from checking my phone and confirming the damages caused by water exposure. Frustratingly, after multiple attempts to get assistance from customer care, my calls are continuously disconnected without any resolution. I am unsure about the next steps to take regarding the motherboard damage and lack of support from the customer service team.

Hello Xiaomi, I want to share my first and worst experience with your service. I have been a loyal customer for three years, with my family also using Xiaomi phones. Unfortunately, my Note 5 Pro was damaged in an accident just three months after I purchased it. I visited your service center in Mumbai hoping for a free screen replacement due to the short time since the purchase. However, I was shocked to learn that I had to pay ₹[redacted] for the repair, which is 60% of the phone's cost. This was extremely disappointing as I expected better warranty service, similar to how Apple handles replacements. As a loyal customer, I expected more reasonable repair costs. This experience has deterred me from buying Xiaomi phones in the future. I hope for a prompt solution to this issue. Thank you.

I purchased my new Redmi Note 5 in April [redacted], and now I am facing issues with storage space running out even though I have uninstalled all applications. I have also deleted WhatsApp and other unnecessary files from the file manager. The phone has 32 GB internal memory, but I am unable to install any new apps. I have tried watching YouTube videos for solutions but haven't been successful. Every time I open the phone, it prompts to clear at least [redacted] MB of storage. I am unsure about what is occupying the space. Please provide a remedy at your earliest convenience.

Dear Team,
I purchased the Redmi Note 3 in January [redacted] without any discounts. Unfortunately, after 11 months, it was stolen during my travels. I bought the same phone again as I really liked the series. However, recently it got stuck in headset mode. After researching online for solutions, I tried adjusting audio settings but when that didn't work, I visited the service centre. They informed me there was a motherboard issue and quoted ₹[redacted] for repairs, stating it was not covered under warranty due to physical damage. I find it disappointing that after two years, my earphones are working fine while the phone purchased just a year ago has a worn-out port, raising concerns about the quality of materials used by Xiaomi.
I hope Xiaomi improves the quality of materials in their phones to ensure longevity. The lack of proper customer service, including no email support and unresponsive service centres, has made me rethink my positive opinion about Redmi. The additional charges for warranty service were also disheartening.
Best regards,
Anusha

The AsyncTask encountered a RuntimeException with a java.lang.NullPointerException at RecorderNotificationMgr.java line [redacted], where the BitmapDrawable.getBitmap() method was called on a null object reference. This error occurred during the doInBackground() method in the AsyncTask implementation.

I own a MI Note 5 Pro and there is dust inside the front camera affecting my photos. The service center is charging Rs. [redacted] to clean it, even though I still have 2 months left on my warranty. They said the free service period ended a month ago and suggested going to Madurai for free service. Traveling 50 km for this small issue is inconvenient. Additionally, my display was replaced on January 15 without a bill provided. I would like a solution for the camera issue under warranty. Please respond via email. Mobile contact number is [redacted].

I purchased a Redmi 5 over a year ago. Recently, the charging port stopped working, so I visited the Xiaomi service center in Yamunanagar. Since my phone was out of warranty, I was charged ₹[redacted] for the port replacement. However, four days after the repair, my phone only charges when it is switched off and not when it is on. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the receipt for the charging port replacement. When I contacted the service center, they refused to fix the issue without the bill. I explained that they could verify the repair through their duplicate bill records. Now, I need assistance to have them address the charging problem. Prior to the repair, my phone was functioning fine, but now it is not charging properly. I hope for a resolution without incurring significant additional costs. Thank you for your help.

I purchased the Redmi Note 7 Pro a month ago. Initially, the battery performance was good, but it has been consistently decreasing over the past few days. Despite being a light user and trying all troubleshooting methods like disabling location access and Bluetooth, the [redacted] mAh battery does not even last a day. I visited the MI service center to address the issue, but they mentioned that they have not received the toolkit yet to open and check the battery. This delay is disappointing as they suggested waiting for a month for the toolkit to be available. I rely on my phone, and the battery issue is becoming inconvenient. I hope Redmi can resolve this matter at the earliest.

I have a Redmi 4 phone that hasn't been working for a few days. I took it to the nearest service center, and after a delay, they informed me of the issue and repair cost. When I received the phone back, it had a low battery that wouldn't charge. After informing the service center, they took it again but failed to resolve the problem due to the engineer's unavailability. I left the phone there, received a receipt, and was supposed to be contacted the next day, but it's now the fifth day without any update despite several follow-up calls. Today they mentioned the phone might be sent to the company for repairs. I'm unsure what to do next. Thank you for any help.

My Redmi Y1 device is malfunctioning. I have taken it to the Mi service center in Saharanpur multiple times for repairs. The speaker has low sound and after each repair, it only functions properly for about a month before acting up again. Additionally, the battery drains rapidly, shutting down the device even when it still shows battery remaining. I am eager to resolve these ongoing issues with the device’s speaker and battery performance.

Hello,
I recently bought the Mi Note 5 Pro, but unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with it. The IMEI seal number is missing from the motherboard, and the warranty seal is broken. The service center agent informed me about these problems.
I want to clarify that as a customer, I did not open the phone's motherboard to remove these components. The service agent claimed that the phone had unauthorized activity since it was opened, but this is not true. The phone is still within the two-year warranty period, but the service center denied helping me and refused to replace the phone. I believe that as a store-bought phone, I should receive assistance in this matter rather than being told nothing can be done. I kindly request your help in getting the phone replaced. Thank you.

I purchased a Redmi Pro 5 on May 7, [redacted]. In the last three days, the phone has not been turning on. I have visited your service center, QDIGI Services Ltd., twice for this issue. On June 7th, I visited the center located at L-[redacted], opposite MCD School, Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka. The same problem occurred again. Today on June 8th, I visited the same service center and handed over my phone. They mentioned they would call me back after two hours. Surprisingly, after just thirty minutes, I received a call stating that my phone is not under warranty and needs to be repaired externally. It is frustrating as I do not understand why I would need to repair a new phone externally. However, the service engineer remained firm on this decision.

Dear Redmi Team,
I am Anila from Kollam, Kerala. I purchased a Redmi 6A in January. Regrettably, the display was damaged due to an accident. Needing urgent repairs, I visited a service center that was heavily covered in Redmi advertisements, leading me to believe it was an official Redmi service center. They claimed to have a partnership with Redmi and assured me they would use original parts for the repair, charging me [redacted] RS.
To my disappointment, the display broke again shortly after, and it became apparent that they had misled me by using the Redmi name. When I asked for a refund, the shopkeeper insisted they had authentic Redmi parts. They mentioned they would refund me if I could prove the display was counterfeit.
I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.
Thank you,
Anila

I am located in Kolkata, West Bengal. I own a Redmi Note 4 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and I use both Jio and Vodafone SIM cards in this phone. My calls, call quality, and networking are all working fine. However, I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to contact customer care numbers that are eleven digits long, such as Redmi's [redacted]6, Blue Dart's [redacted]4, ICICI Bank's [redacted]7, and others, from either of my SIM cards. When I dial these numbers from my Jio SIM, a voice message informs me that my outgoing call facility has been disabled and asks me to contact Jio helpline on [redacted], but even [redacted] cannot be reached from my phone. I contacted Jio customer service from another phone, but they claim there is no issue on their end. Vodafone also stated the same when I reached out to them. I am puzzled as to why this problem only occurs with this particular phone, as I can dial these eleven-digit customer care numbers from my other phones without any trouble. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I would like a refund.
I bought a Redmi Y3 on May 31, [redacted], from a Xiaomi authorized store in Bangladesh. The store details are as follows:
Mi Flagship Store,
Shop #3, Block # B,
Level # 1, Basundhara City Shopping Mall, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
I made the purchase using my American Express credit card with a 3-month EMI option. I paid a total of BDT 15,[redacted]/- (extra interest of BDT [redacted] + mobile price of BDT 15,[redacted]/-).
I completed the EMI form with all the necessary details, but the shop failed to send the documents or notify the bank about my EMI agreement. Consequently, I had to pay additional interest charges. This shop is an official Xiaomi retailer in Bangladesh, so why have they treated me like this?
Now, I am required to pay the full amount this month because my bank was not informed about the EMI agreement with the Xiaomi shop.
I am unsure where to file a complaint. I feel frustrated about this situation and the extra money I have had to pay. I insist on getting a refund.

I purchased a Xiaomi Redmi Y3 smartphone on June 26, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am experiencing touch screen issues with the device. The touch screen frequently stops working abruptly or becomes overly sensitive, making it difficult to use the phone. Despite rebooting the phone, the problem persists. When I consulted the Mi service center, they mentioned that the issue might be due to the unsuccessful update to MIUI global 10.3.3, which I had done myself. They reverted the software back to MIUI global 10.3.2, temporarily resolving the problem. However, after attempting to update to MIUI global 10.3.3 again, the touch screen issues resurfaced. The phone often lags or becomes unresponsive, requiring multiple reboots. This ongoing problem is quite frustrating and disappointing. I am seeking advice on how to resolve this issue.

I purchased a Redmi 6 Pro in December [redacted], and for the past 6 months, I've been experiencing complete network signal loss with various SIM cards like Vodafone, Jio, and Airtel. Despite attempting all troubleshooting steps, including visiting the Mi store at JKM SERVICES in Sector-16, Faridabad, Haryana multiple times, I have not received a resolution beyond formatting or software updates. This ongoing issue has been extremely frustrating and has impacted me mentally, making it difficult to concentrate. I feel like I cannot efficiently utilize the phone for which I invested [redacted]/-. I urge you to acknowledge the seriousness of this situation promptly. Ideally, a replacement phone would be the best solution at this point before the situation escalates further.

I purchased a mobile phone (Mi Redmi Note 7 Pro) from your company on the 5th of this month. However, within 10 days, an issue arose. When I contacted the Ayanavaram service center, they advised me to reach out to customer care. After speaking with your executive, Mr. Gokul, he suggested visiting the service center again, which I find inconvenient.
I am requesting either an exchange of the mobile phone or a refund due to the unsatisfactory service experienced. Despite a 45-minute conversation with Mr. Prince and Mr. Prakash, no resolution was achieved. When requesting a complaint number for escalation, I received no response.
I urge you to provide a grievance email address for further escalation and share the complaint number. Also, I request that your higher authorities contact me at [redacted]. The lack of proper service has left me very disappointed.

Hello Support,
I hope you are doing well.
I am from Arena Animation Dilsukhnagar. Our contact number is [redacted]0. We have received complaints from our students who use Redmi mobile phones. When we call them for work purposes, our number appears as [MAAC], our competitor, only on Redmi devices. We are not sure if MAAC is responsible or if it's a technical issue. This has caused confusion among our customers. We have noticed this problem for several days and have reported it to MI devices, but there has been no resolution. We are puzzled as to why this issue only occurs on Redmi devices. Please investigate and update our number [redacted]0 as Arena Dilsukhnagar. We would appreciate it if you could ensure that our name appears correctly on Truecaller and similar apps. Your assistance is crucial to our business operations. Please advise us if there are any actions we need to take on our end.
