Hello, I am currently in Dubai and have a Mi 4 device. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the email address I used to sign in. After performing a factory reset, the phone is now prompting me to sign into my Mi account, but I do not recall the password. Please assist me with this issue. Thank you.

After updating my Whatsapp app today, I encountered an issue where it wouldn't open and displayed the following error message: "java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: no non-static method 'Lcom/whatsapp/voipcalling/CallParticipantJid;.getUserJid()Lcom/whatsapp/jid/UserJid;'." It seems to be related to a problem with a method in the app's code. I'm hoping someone can assist me with this problem.

I am looking to speak with a customer service representative regarding my recent purchase of a Mi Go phone. It has been three months since I bought it, and I am experiencing issues with it freezing up. The service center is asking for payment for software repairs, which should be included in the basic functionality of the phone, allowing apps like WhatsApp and YouTube to run smoothly. If the phone cannot handle these basic apps, perhaps production should be reconsidered. I have faith in Mi products, having purchased two more phones after the Mi Go, but I am disappointed with the service center requesting payment to fix what I believe to be issues with the phone's software.

This is my dad's phone, and I used to connect my Sony TV to it using the phone's hotspot. It worked before, but now, when I change the SSID name on the phone, it shows up on the TV's Wi-Fi options. However, when I try to connect, it says it cannot connect. Additionally, the hotspot from this phone connects fine to other devices like phones and laptops. Also, other phones' hotspots, like Lenovo, can connect to the Sony TV. I don't recall updating my TV software, so it seems like the issue might be on your end.

I was in Bhawanipore with my father who was using a Redmi Note 7. While he was driving his bike, I called him on that phone. He stopped to answer, but shortly after the phone suddenly disappeared. We tried calling it but it only rang three times before going silent. The phone seemed to be switched off, and our attempts to locate it through "Find My Device" were unsuccessful. Later, we purchased a new SIM card with the same number. The IMEI number for the lost phone is [redacted][redacted]. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to recover the phone. We kindly ask for your assistance in locating it. We apologize for the delayed report but would appreciate any help in tracking down our phone. Thank you in advance for your support.

I purchased a new Redmi Note 7 Pro from Flipkart yesterday. When I tried connecting to the internet, I was only getting speeds of 1-12kbps. I switched the settings to 4G, but the speed didn't improve. Currently using a BSNL SIM, I get speeds of up to 200kbps on another phone. When I inserted a Vodafone 4G SIM into my new phone, I encountered the same issue. However, I do get 3Mbps speed when using Wi-Fi on the new phone. How can I solve this issue?

Dear Xiaomi Support Team, I am a Xiaomi phone user, and currently, I own a Xiaomi Redmi 4A 32/2 GB Qualcomm Snapdragon version. After mistakenly wiping all data on my device, I found that my registered Mi Account is still there. I was attempting to format the phone without removing my account, but due to my lack of knowledge, I got stuck on a screen that says "This device is associated with an existing Mi Account ID." I am reaching out for assistance as this is my only phone, and I am unable to access it. Mi Account Information: Mi Account ID: [redacted] Registered Email ID: [redacted] (I am unsure if this email is linked to my Mi Account.) Registered Mobile Number: +[redacted]21 / +[redacted]21 (Currently, I am using +[redacted]02) IMEI Details: IMEI 1: [redacted][redacted] IMEI 2: (I do not have IMEI 2 information) I have searched for solutions but have not been successful. I sincerely hope you can help me unlock my device promptly. Thank you for considering my situation. Chrisly Anastacio

I purchased the Redmi Note 7 in June [redacted], and in January [redacted], it started bending. I took it back to the shop where I bought it, but they did not help and directed me to a Redmi store 100km away. At the store, they mentioned the issue could be due to the battery expanding and advised me to get it checked quickly. However, when I returned to the shop, they still showed no interest in assisting me. Mi.com informed me that the shop is responsible for the guarantee. We own two Redmi Note 7s and a Redmi Note 8, but if this is how Redmi handles customer service, we will not be purchasing Xiaomi products in the future. I am looking for a solution to this problem. Thank you.

Hello, I am seeking assistance with my phone issue. The model number is M1810F6LI and the Part Number is MZB7306IN. Since last night, my phone has been continuously turning on and off. This problem persisted until early this morning when my phone ran out of battery. Even after charging, the issue persists. The cycle involves the phone vibrating, displaying the Redmi logo, turning off, and repeating this process. When attempting to reboot by pressing the volume up and power buttons, the reboot screen flashes briefly for 2 seconds before the on and off loop resumes. I purchased the phone in June [redacted], and it is still under warranty. Due to the lockdown, I am unable to visit a service center, so I would appreciate a prompt resolution.

Subject: Issue with Order #[redacted]-[redacted] from Amazon Prime Dear Sir/Madam, I purchased a Redmi Note 8, Moonlight White, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage mobile phone from Amazon on March 12, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I have encountered several problems with the device. The phone overheats during video playback, the battery gets too hot, the screen is malfunctioning, screen rotation is not functioning, videos play in the background after exiting, the flashlight turns on automatically, screen mirroring has issues, and the charger is not working correctly. Additionally, the phone displays a background app frequently. I tried to initiate a return, but due to the current COVID-19 lockdown, service has been unavailable. My first EMI payment has been deducted from my account, even though the phone is faulty. I believe the device is not as described and is not of satisfactory quality. As per consumer rights, I am entitled to either a repair, replacement, or refund. Please confirm your course of action within 14 days and let me know if you will arrange for the phone to be collected or reimburse me for the return costs. Looking forward to your prompt response. Yours faithfully, Ragini B.

I purchased a new Redmi 8 mobile phone approximately 2 months ago. There seems to be an issue with the internet connectivity as it does not provide good service despite having a strong network signal. Additionally, the device frequently hangs and requires multiple reboots. I have contacted customer service regarding this matter, but their response has not been satisfactory. I kindly request to have this handset replaced with a better one that offers improved internet capabilities. This problem is hindering my ability to work efficiently from my phone. Your prompt assistance in addressing this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been using my Redmi 5 phone for almost two years now. Lately, I have been facing storage issues even though I don't have many media files. My phone unexpectedly shut down two weeks ago and after a reboot, some data needed to be restored. Although the problem seemed to be fixed initially, I started running out of space again soon after. I am puzzled as 200MB of space is being consumed daily without installing anything new. Now, I am encountering a new issue where the icons on my home screen and app drawer are not showing up, making it difficult to navigate. Even though I know where each app is located, the icons remain invisible. When I turn off and on the screen, the apps disappear entirely. I am hesitant to restart my phone as I fear it may not turn on again. I would appreciate it if someone could offer a solution or send a service person to help me with these issues promptly. Thank you.

I have a Xiaomi Y3 with a warranty. Recently, after updating to miui11.0.9.0, my phone started overheating and the battery drains fast. I contacted MI customer care and followed their instructions, even re-downloading the update, but the issues persisted. The phone shut down multiple times due to overheating. Despite visiting the service center and having the software changed, the problems continued. After another appointment, they now claim the battery is faulty. It seems unusual for a 9-month-old phone to encounter so many issues suddenly.

One week ago, I booked an appointment for the 19th Friday in Vijayawada. When I arrived at the service center, I encountered some issues. Firstly, I was asked for a bill or cover box, which I didn't have, although the notice board mentioned the front desk engineer could assist without it. Secondly, I was advised to transfer my data before any service to prevent data loss. On the 22nd Monday, when I traveled 30 km for formatting, I was informed that servicing, not formatting, was needed, with a charge of ₹[redacted]/-. I expressed frustration at the multiple steps and the inconvenience as a senior citizen amidst the current corona situation. An altercation ensued when I questioned the process, and feeling uncomfortable, I left without getting my mobile prepared. This level of service and behavior from a reputed company like Redme is unacceptable and disappointing for me.

I had issues with my Redmi 7 phone, like freezing and unclear camera quality, along with the fingerprint sensor not working. Despite visiting the Mi service center in Ludhiana twice, they mentioned ordering a new fingerprint sensor which turned out to be defective. The front desk staff advised me to return the phone for replacement once the new sensor arrives. As I heavily rely on this phone for my daily tasks, I requested them to contact me once the new sensor is in stock so that I can submit my phone for repair. I appreciate your cooperation in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you. S.K.

The main screen menu is not opening due to a runtime error in the launcher activity. It seems to be caused by a null object reference when attempting to set the visibility of a view. This issue is likely in the setupRecentsViews method in the Launcher class, leading to the crash when the activity is launched. The onCreate method in the Launcher class is failing due to this NullPointerException error. The problem might be with the way views are initialized or referenced in the launcher activity, causing the app to crash on startup. It would be advisable to review the setupRecentsViews and setupViews methods in the Launcher class to identify and fix the issue with setting the visibility of the view correctly to resolve the problem with the main screen menu not opening.

I purchased a Redmi Note 7 Pro from Flipkart India and currently reside in Kathmandu, Nepal. Unfortunately, I lost my mobile five months ago, just two days before the lockdown due to COVID-19. The police recovered my phone but it is locked with a different Mi Account that I cannot access. Despite trying various options from YouTube and online forums, including hard reset, Mi unlock tool, twrp.img, fastboot, nothing seems to work. Redmi India's online support has been unhelpful and the Nepal support suggested waiting until the lockdown is lifted, which may take a while. I have the invoice from Flipkart and the police report. I hope to find a legitimate way to unlock my phone remotely without breaching any laws. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am Paresh Motwani from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. I purchased a Redmi Note 8 from Amazon in December [redacted]. Initially, the phone was fine, but after 8-10 months, I noticed a significant battery drain issue. I repeatedly visited the service center for assistance, but they only performed software updates and didn't address the battery problem. When I inquired about the battery replacement cost, they quoted [redacted] RS, which I found expensive. After seeking help from my cousin at a mobile shop, we discovered that the battery was leaking and emitting a smell, posing a serious risk. The service center's neglect of the issue could have resulted in a hazardous situation.
