I am a Quadesio Thomas, an employee at [redacted] N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL [redacted]. I have encountered difficulties with one of my managers, Janemo, who is refusing to consider me for a raise or a new training position. During a discussion about a raise on June 4th, [redacted], Janemo and I engaged in a heated argument in front of customers. She even mentioned trying to have me fired since I started. On June 8th, [redacted], I was informed by a coworker that I have been suspended without pay for the entire week. I am uncertain if any action has been taken against Janemo for her behavior.

On May 12, [redacted], I visited the Popeyes located at [redacted] N. Arizona Avenue, Gilbert, AZ [redacted], and ordered 2 - 3 piece tender combos (MILD) at $7.49 each, 1 BFLY shrimp tackle box at $7.00, and a box of biscuits for $3.99, totaling $25.97 plus $2.03 tax, amounting to $28.00. Unfortunately, our order was not mild, and we did not receive the box of biscuits, leaving us without lunch. I attempted to contact the phone number on the receipt but it seemed to be a fax line. The ordering experience was unpleasant, with rude service. I have visited other Popeyes locations in Tempe and Mesa and had a much better experience with friendly staff. I have reached out multiple times, requesting to speak with management, but have been informed that my complaint has been closed without resolution. If I do not receive a response by tomorrow, I will escalate this matter to local media and the Better Business Bureau for further assistance. I am seeking reimbursement for the meal and consideration for the inconvenience caused.
Thank you,
Lynne Marcum

Hello,
I am currently in Myrtle Beach, SC, visiting from Ohio. Last night, we decided to order Popeyes for dinner, as we had ordered from them a month ago during our last visit. Unfortunately, we have encountered issues both times. Previously, we were missing 2 sides and had difficulty contacting them by phone.
Last night's experience was incredibly frustrating. We ordered a family meal with 12 mild family pack of tenders and coleslaw. When our order arrived, there were no sauces for the tenders, which was a major reason we ordered them in the first place. To our disappointment, the tenders were not mild but hot. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach them by phone, we eventually spoke to someone who informed us they were out of mild tenders but did not offer any alternatives or solutions. The customer service representative abruptly hung up on us when we expressed our dissatisfaction.
In the end, my fiancé had to drive to the location to address the issue in person. Although we received a refund of $30 out of the $39.29 we paid, the entire experience was unacceptable and has left us feeling reluctant to order from Popeyes again. I hope this type of service is not reflective of all Popeyes locations.
Best,
Angela S.

Issue Summary:
On Sunday, May 24th, I placed an order #13 with Doordash for $56.41 for Daniel. However, instead, I received order #7 valued at $16.80. I am requesting a refund for the difference of $39.61. I reached out to Doordash on the same day, but did not receive a prompt response due to COVID-19. Eventually, Doordash redirected me to Popeyes, but I did not hear back from them.
Doordash's response on May 25th stated that I should contact the store directly as the payment was made to them. I was given reference number [redacted]95. However, Popeyes' initial response on the same day only provided reference number 55G829, citing high volumes. Their follow-up on June 4th with reference number 55PVHD continued to blame high volumes.
I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed with this issue. Thank you.

Yesterday, around 9:25 p.m., I visited Popeyes drive-thru. Despite waiting ten minutes in line, I was told they were out of food before I could place my order. It seemed unbelievable they ran out by 9:35 p.m. without even knowing my order. I understand shortages happen, but it was disappointing. The lack of apology and the claim of being totally out of everything seemed odd. This incident occurred at the West Columbia, SC Augusta Rd location. I've been a regular customer and never encountered such a situation before.

I recently visited the Bedford location but didn't receive a receipt. I was initially overcharged for a spicy chicken sandwich combo but got it corrected. However, upon reaching home, I found a chicken sandwich and rice instead of fries. I was surprised as the order should have included fries.
I'm disappointed with the drive-through's design; it's challenging to exit without damaging the car. A contact phone number would be beneficial in situations like this.
I'd appreciate if this issue could be addressed, and I receive the complete meal I originally ordered. Thank you.

I purchased a 3-piece chicken dinner with a coke (incorporating mashed potatoes and a biscuit) plus an extra order of mashed potatoes. However, during pickup at the drive-thru, the employee handling my food did not wear gloves or a mask. I got the main items but did not receive the additional mashed potatoes I paid for. Not having proper safety gear in a pandemic is concerning. I had a similar experience at KFC, and I have now decided not to return to Popeyes due to these lapses in following safety protocols. I usually praise Popeyes for its spicy chicken, sandwiches, and sides but this incident disappoints me. I have a receipt as proof of my purchase. Sadly, the service at the South Florida Avenue branch in Lakeland has made me apprehensive about returning due to COVID-19 safety issues. I hope the management takes steps to ensure the safety of their customers and staff.

Hello,
I believe I have a great idea for Popeyes that could be a big success. While your fried chicken sandwich is loved by many, there are some, like myself, who prefer dark meat over breast meat. If Popeyes were to offer a deboned chicken thigh sandwich, it could be a market dominator. By giving customers the option to choose between dark or white meat sandwiches, sales could potentially triple.
In the event that this idea is as successful as I anticipate, I kindly request a 10% share of the profits from the dark meat fried chicken sandwiches. Thank you for considering this proposal.
Sincerely,
Clovia E.

I visited Popeyes today around 5:15 PM on Blanding Blvd. in Orange Park, FL. After paying for my order with correct change, the employee demanded two more pennies which I found and handed over. The situation escalated when the manager or another employee threw the bag of food at my husband rudely. We were very upset by the disrespectful behavior and left the store feeling disappointed. I would like a refund and assurance that this will not happen again at any Popeyes location. I hope this feedback will help improve the customer experience. Thank you, Mrs. Hatcher.

I recently visited Popeyes at store number [redacted] in Lansing, Michigan. I had ordered a 14-piece mild tenders meal with a small french fries, a large macaroni and cheese, and a large onion ring. Unfortunately, when I received my order, it was missing ranch, ketchup, and sporks, and the tenders were spicy and cold. When we asked for a replacement, the staff member at the drive-through window was rude. The manager then told us we had to go back through the drive-through for the replacement. Despite waiting for quite some time and facing issues with the service, we were not given a proper resolution. I am disappointed with the service and the overall experience, and I am requesting a refund for the unsatisfactory meal. I hope the restaurant can improve its service quality in the future.

I recently visited the Popeye's location on 159th Street off of Harlem Ave in Illinois. Despite the staff having trouble getting our order right and being unable to toast the buns for the chicken sandwiches, we were understanding. However, upon reaching home, we found the food to be disappointing. The chicken was dry and tough, and one of our orders was missing. Unfortunately, we did not receive a receipt in our bag, so I had no way to address these issues directly. I hope this feedback reaches the management as we have always enjoyed our visits to Popeye's and have not encountered such problems at other locations nearer to our home. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we appreciate your usual quality service.

I encountered an issue with the customer service at one of your locations. The cashier, who claimed to be the manager, displayed rude behavior towards me and other customers. Her body language and attitude clearly indicated her lack of interest in assisting us. She raised her voice at us and even commanded a customer to leave and lock the door behind him, refusing further entry despite it being only 7:00 PM on a Saturday.
In addition to the poor treatment of customers, the service was incredibly slow. I waited in line for 20 minutes before anyone took my order, with no one at the cash register. It took nearly 40 minutes for me to be served, all while enduring the cashier/manager's disrespectful behavior.

My husband and I recently visited the Popeyes store #[redacted] in Columbus, Ohio, at 8:30 pm. Although they close at 11pm, by the time we arrived, they were low on chicken and sides. Initially, my husband ordered a 4-piece bone-in combo meal and was informed they only had thighs left. After some back and forth, they offered two breasts and two thighs in the spicy flavor. I opted for a 3-piece spicy tenders meal, but they had run out of spicy tenders and could only offer mild. Additionally, we only received one helping of mashed potatoes and gravy instead of two. The lack of organization and availability of items was disappointing, and the staff appeared disinterested. Despite enjoying Popeyes chicken, this experience makes me hesitant to return. It would be appreciated if Popeyes could offer a complimentary family meal as a goodwill gesture.

I recently visited Popeyes after a year and had an awful experience. My husband ordered the 12-piece Bonafide meal at the location on [redacted] Annapolis Rd [redacted]. Unfortunately, the chicken was bland and overcooked, the mashed potatoes were thick, the gravy was too peppery, and instead of red beans and rice, we received unpleasant, runny mac and cheese. The biscuits were also stale. I tried emailing but had issues, and when I called 1[redacted], the representative's accent made it hard to understand him. I made a formal complaint on Tuesday, 9-8-[redacted], at 6:11 pm and was assured that the store manager would contact me to resolve the issue, but I haven't heard back yet. I requested a refund or a proper replacement of the meal. A very disappointed patron.

On September 15, [redacted], while waiting in the drive-thru for about 35 minutes, I placed my order and once I got home, I realized it was completely messed up. I had dropped the food off at my daughter's house for my grandkids, who it was getting late for, close to 9:00 p.m. Then, I received a call about the order being wrong, but it was too late for me to go back and get it fixed as it would have kept my grandkids up even longer. I tried calling Popeye's multiple times with no response, even attempted to reach out to the management and regional office but was unsuccessful. This whole experience has left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of, especially during these tough times. The inaccurate order consisted of 3 two-piece specials on a Tuesday, a family order of fries, and three chicken sandwiches - two spicy and one regular - but what I received was different, with spicy sandwiches that I couldn't eat. I am seeking a refund or replacement for this disappointing service.

Hello, my name is Tina. I visited your Popeye's in Texas City, Texas, and had a terrible experience. The woman working there was extremely rude to me, not letting me finish my order and even tossing the honey at me. This happened at the location on [redacted] Palmer Hwy, store number [redacted]. It was on October 3rd, [redacted], around 11:37 am. I frequent Popeye's often, but I won't be returning to this particular one due to the disrespectful treatment I received. I was shocked by her behavior and the way she handled my order. My experience there was truly unpleasant, and I felt disrespected throughout my visit.

On October 11, [redacted], at around 3 o'clock, I visited store [redacted] to order a four-piece meal with red beans and rice and iced tea. Unfortunately, the service at the window was slow and incorrect, so I went inside to order at the counter. A tall, thin gentleman with a thin mustache helped me when he was ready. However, when I received my food, the amount he asked for was $20.50, which I knew was incorrect. Despite realizing the mistake, I felt hesitant to argue as I was the only white person in the store. The actual amount on the receipt was $12.50. I paid $21, and received only $0.50 in change, which meant he profited $8.50. After considering confronting him, he had disappeared from the store. I have the receipt and two quarters I received as change as proof. This experience was disappointing and unnecessary. I am upset and frustrated by this situation. Thank you, Joe.

I purchased a three-piece meal and upon inspecting it before leaving, I noticed the chicken appeared dry and as if it had been sitting out for too long. I politely asked the cashier for a replacement piece, to which she seemed dismissive and unprofessional. Another worker intervened, and despite the cashier's reluctance, I handed her the piece of chicken I wanted to be replaced. Unfortunately, she handled it without gloves and did not wash her hands while also touching money. This unhygienic handling of food and lack of proper etiquette was concerning. Moreover, when requesting my receipt, I was given someone else's. It would be beneficial for the staff to receive training on food handling and customer service.

I am writing today because of a recent unfortunate experience at store #[redacted] located at [redacted] W Atlantic Blvd. The store manager argued that an item I ordered wasn't on the menu and insinuated I was seeking something complimentary. This escalated to a confrontation at the drive-thru window, where she insisted I pull around to the back to "show me." Upon inspection, we found both items on the menu with different photos and combos, proving her error. Upon acknowledging this, she proceeded to lash out at me, using derogatory language. I felt threatened and humiliated by her behavior. As a black customer who values Popeyes products, this encounter has left a lasting negative impression, making me hesitant to dine there again or recommend their services.

I wanted to share my recent unpleasant experience at store #[redacted] located at [redacted] W Atlantic Blvd. The store manager disputed an item I ordered, suggesting I was seeking it for free. Through the drive-thru window, she insisted I pull around to prove her point. Upon doing so, we found both items on the menu with different photos and combos available, confirming she was mistaken. When she realized her error, she became hostile, even using offensive language towards me. This encounter left me feeling threatened and embarrassed. As a loyal customer, this incident has truly soured my opinion of Popeyes, and I am unsure if I will return or recommend this location to others in the future.
