I received an email on Monday, the 15th, stating that my password had been changed, which I did not initiate. Despite several attempts to contact POF, my query has not been addressed promptly. When using the "forgot password" link, I am not receiving the option to reset it.
It is alarming that someone now has unauthorized access to my account, potentially even altering my linked email address and viewing my personal information and images. As a dating site, POF has a responsibility to safeguard user data and handle such issues swiftly.
I request immediate resolution to this matter as I am deeply worried about the security of my account. I urgently need either cancellation of my account or access to modify the account details. Your prompt assistance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I keep receiving messages from catfish that I have reverse image searched and found out they are all fake. Someone suggested your website as an alternative to Tinder, but Tinder is far superior. It seems like you don't have control over your users as I encountered three fake profiles with the same photo that were eventually deleted. However, they resurfaced with different names. I've only been on the site for six days, but it feels like I've been dealing with deception for months. I have evidence through screenshots and reverse image searches. This experience has been unpleasant and deceptive. Please refund my eight-month subscription as I joined for genuine reasons, not to encounter such fraudulent behavior. Thank you.

I had a disturbing experience with a member from Plenty of Fish who drugged and assaulted me. I have evidence such as text messages and phone calls. I am currently part of a police investigation. However, I am unsure if the information on his profile or pictures are accurate as I was drugged during the incident due to my health condition. This individual preyed on me, and I fear he may harm others on your platform. I am willing to share all the details when contacted. In the event that the police reach out to you, could you assist by providing them with any relevant information to help identify him? I am seeking a restraining order and his arrest.

We were exploring the new video chat feature and discussing how to use it until my last message was met with a notification that she had blocked me. I feel this might be a mistake since we were in the middle of our conversation. It feels abrupt, like being cut off mid-sentence during an in-person chat. I had a frustrating experience trying to set up a new account after deleting my old one, Suzanne8282. Today on 4/21/[redacted], I created an account under the name Victoria8282. After receiving an email from Mark confirming my registration was successful, I logged in, downloaded a picture, adjusted my mail settings, and updated my profile. However, I encountered an issue where my account froze. When I tried to log back in, I received an error message indicating problems with my username and email being incorrect. I was charged $16.90 and $79.92 by Plenty of Fish on April 15, [redacted], even though I signed up for a $9.99 charge for 8 months. Despite my attempts to address this through multiple messages, I have not received a response. I requested to switch to the 2-month plan and receive a refund for the overcharge, but have not heard back. If my account is not credited, I will cancel my subscription. It has been frustrating not being able to speak to anyone directly, and I now realize POF's reputation is not great. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, or I will share my experience on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

I used to be an active POF user until my phone was stolen, and my account got hacked. It seems the account was deleted by the person who took my phone sometime last week.
I had gone on three dates with another member, "CabSav1969," who has since been stalking and harassing me. This situation has left me quite shaken. Although I can't confirm if he was the one who stole my phone and deleted my account, I had just upgraded my membership on 7/04/[redacted] (two weeks ago) and I hope you can restore it for me.
Considering his behavior, I might need to involve the police, but I'm hesitant as I feel he's been following and stalking me.

My name is Mohamad Jaafar. I recently logged into my account and noticed an unauthorized charge of £38.70 on 23/04/[redacted] with reference number [redacted]. I have not used the site in over three months and did not authorize this payment. I did not see a small box to tick during my initial payment. I am shocked and disappointed by this situation, and I will not be returning to this site. I request the immediate deletion of my account. I believe my account was deleted this morning since I couldn't log in. I didn't receive any email or notification about it. I researched online and found potential reasons for the deletion. One reason might be a picture I posted at the beach that could have been misunderstood as inappropriate. Another reason could be that some of my initial messages seemed automated. Besides these reasons, I couldn't find any other potential causes for the account deletion. I understand if my actions led to this outcome, but I wish there was at least a notification informing me about the deletion. I created the account yesterday and didn't face any issues until this morning. I acknowledge that the deletion could have been a result of my actions or a misunderstanding by the system. After installing Plenty of Fish from Google Play and encountering multiple bad experiences, I tried to delete my profile and any associated data. Despite unsubscribing from emails on the site and deleting the app, I am still receiving notifications about new responses and likes. I engage with over 50 individuals daily. It's noticeable that most women prefer to block messages rather than ignore or politely decline. When I decline a woman courteously, I immediately get blocked because they cannot handle rejection. Upon reviewing your FAQ, I discovered that users are AUTO DELETED if they are blocked by women? This policy is unreasonable! I have not violated any rules and have had numerous pleasant interactions on the site. I have even reported over 40 spam bots that your platform failed to identify.
It's extremely unjust that my account be deleted, requiring me to re-register and lose ALL my conversations simply because a few impolite women decided to block me.
Kindly reconsider this unfair policy and reinstate my account.
