After being inactive on the site, around June 8, [redacted], I started receiving emails about new messages. Despite having blocked my profile, I received them. Upon checking my inbox, I discovered conversations I hadn't participated in and realized that someone else was using my profile to reply. My profile information had been altered, and my pictures replaced with images of another woman. I promptly changed my password, reset my profile pictures, and corrected the inaccurate information. I reached out to all individuals contacted by someone posing as me, clarifying the situation to avoid any potential scams. However, I encountered issues accessing my profile later, as I couldn't log in with my usual username and attempted passwords. When trying to reset them, the site indicated my long-standing email address wasn't valid, although it had been receiving notifications. I find this frustrating, as I've used this email for over a decade and want to regain access to my profile.

There is an account on your platform with the username thrillseeker1121 that has false information about me. The profile states that I am 18 years old, 5'10" tall, and living in Apopka, while I am actually 17 years old, 5'2" tall, and residing in Winter Park. I only recently discovered your website after someone in their 30s contacted me through Instagram, claiming to have found me on your site and then followed me on Snapchat. I am extremely concerned about my privacy and safety. I have no knowledge of how to remove this account, but I can provide you with a screenshot for assistance. Thank you for your help.

Yesterday, I received an email from POF stating that my email had been changed without my knowledge. I have been unable to log into my account despite trying multiple passwords. I requested a password reset email twice, but haven't received one. I have sent three emails to POF reporting that my account has been hacked. The notifications are still coming through on my phone, and they are all from females, which I am not interested in. POF has not taken any action to address this issue, and I am concerned about what is being posted on my profile. It's a distressing situation, and I hope they resolve it soon.

On Wednesday, June 13, [redacted], I decided to give Plenty of Fish another try. Although I already had an account, I purchased an upgrade. POF now required account upgrades to go through the iTunes app. I made the upgrade using my iCloud ID. After a day passed with no upgrade visible on my POF account, I realized there was no way to link or specify the email address for the services on POF or iTunes. The assumption made was that the POF and iCloud accounts' email addresses were the same, which is untrue for me and many others. After discovering the issue, I contacted POF to have the upgrade applied to my existing account. I sent an email through POF's help page on Friday, June 15, [redacted], providing the purchase details for proof. It should be simple to apply the upgrade once payment is confirmed. However, three days later, the upgrade is still unavailable. I am disappointed by the lack of response from POF and believe this neglect could result in legal action concerning customer protection. To resolve this issue: 1) Apply the purchase to my existing POF profile with the correct email. 2) Extend the access period for the upgrade. 3) Reimburse any charges incurred due to difficulties in communication on POF.

I recently reported a disturbing situation involving a man named Paul Vadim Nonne from Clayton, DE, whom I met on the POF website. Shockingly, I discovered that he is a registered sex offender for dealing in child pornography in Delaware. Despite my report, it seems he has been able to rejoin the site for a third time and is now stalking me. I have been trying to cancel my account without success. Given the severity of the situation, I may need to involve the authorities as I fear he may exploit this platform to harm children. As a 65-year-old grandmother of 5, I am deeply troubled by the lack of security measures in place on this site.

I am experiencing difficulties logging into my account. Despite creating multiple profiles, changing usernames, and attempting to log in with both username and email, I cannot access my account. I suspect it may have been compromised or hacked. I have been unsuccessful in closing these accounts or logging in with a new username or email. I have tried multiple times tonight to explain my issue, but every time I submit, the page goes blank, and I have to start over. I will simplify this: I used this site when it was free, decided to try it a month ago, paid for a month, used it for only three days, and was not satisfied. I shared my credit card information trusting it would be safe. I did not sign up for two months or authorize another charge. I want a prompt refund. Upon sign-up, I received a confirmation email. I was able to log in briefly but got logged out and couldn't log back in as it claimed my username or password was incorrect. Recreating the profile with the same details resulted in successful registration but the same login issue recurred. Several attempts to recover the password didn't yield any reset email. How can this be resolved?

My 80-year-old mother is being scammed by a member of Plenty of Fish. I want the member investigated and their membership revoked. The member's name is John Smith, also known as John Lukacz. He claims to live in Oklahoma City and owns J. Smith Engineering and Construction. He mentioned working on a project in Cyprus where he said his laptop, mobile phone, and watch were stolen, and then asked my mother to replace them, which she did. He mentioned having a son in London who has also been in touch with her. The address provided for sending items is: John Smith Prodromou [redacted] Strovolas Nicosia [redacted] Cyprus The telephone number is [redacted] with an Ohio prefix. He previously claimed to live in Ohio but now says he resides in Oklahoma City at [redacted] Chelsey Lane, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, [redacted], which actually belongs to Mr. and Mrs. Davis. The member claimed to be in his mid-60s on POF. He mentioned coming home to Oklahoma City on June 16, [redacted], but never showed up. My mother lost her husband on February 2, [redacted], so this is a distressing situation. It's crucial to halt this exploitation of vulnerable people. Thank you.

I activated my account last night and started using the features when suddenly my messages and inbox disappeared. When I tried to view my profile, it said my account was deleted or removed. I tried signing back in, and it said my account didn't exist. I checked my email, but there was no message about my account being deleted. I haven't done anything wrong or sent any inappropriate pictures. Can you please help me understand what's happening?

I have been unable to access my Plenty of Fish account despite trying for two days. After attempting to reset my password with no success, I provided two email addresses but never received a response. My screen name is likely fuzzydice7, previously it might have been fuzzydice6. I believe my primary email is [redacted] and the secondary one is [redacted] My name is Greg Lipp, and I uploaded a picture when signing up but cannot log in now. I am frustrated due to the continued deletion of my profiles by your platform. This marks the third time my account has been removed within a month, purportedly as an accident. This recurring issue is driving users away, and I am now escalating my concerns to the Better Business Bureau. Deleting accounts without proper cause can lead to backlash from users resorting to making bogus reports. I urge you to validate such allegations before taking drastic actions such as deleting accounts. It is essential for POF to address this recurring problem, which is not encountered on other dating websites.

I noticed my subscription expired around June 3rd. Despite not actively using Plenty of Fish, I was charged $38.70 on my bank card for a renewal while I was out of state in Idaho tending to family matters due to my brother's passing and my mother's health. Upon my return, I found an insufficient funds notice since the charge was transferred from my savings to my checking account. I'm upset as I never authorized this renewal. I contacted WSECU who advised me to address the issue with Plenty of Fish first. I have reached out to POF to explain and request a refund. If this isn't resolved promptly, I will escalate it with my bank. My bank card is from Washington State Employees Credit Union, and my name is Kathleen Tomlinson. I'm hopeful for a response from POF soon.

I urgently need to talk to a supervisor regarding the operators who answered the phone. Two of them misled me. The first one asked for $[redacted].99 claiming there was a virus when there wasn't. The second one told me to buy $[redacted] in Walmart cards and $[redacted] in Target cards to rectify a mistaken payment he supposedly made. I, unfortunately, fell for it. Luckily, my daughter advised me to contact my bank to stop the transactions. He used $[redacted] each from the Walmart and Target cards. These individuals are engaging in fraudulent activities. I am seeking assistance as I have been trying to close my account with Plenty of Fish for over six months. Despite my attempts, money continues to be deducted from my account monthly. The latest deduction resulted in an overdraft fee of $32.50 due to insufficient funds in my checking account. Plenty of Fish owes me over $[redacted] in fees, and I have not received any resolution.
