I created a Sony Playstation Account on my PS Vita around 6-7 years ago. Recently, when I tried to log back in, I discovered that my account had been banned for allegedly violating the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement. I am unsure of the exact reason for this ban as I do not recall breaking any rules. Is there a possibility to appeal this decision and regain access to my account?

While playing Rust with my boyfriend and his friends, we encountered rude players who repeatedly killed me and even trapped us in our base. I messaged one of them, explaining the situation and asking for our items back to avoid further conflict, but he was disrespectful and refused. He then insulted me over voice chat and in a group chat. I responded in kind, and now I find myself banned from the game. I am frustrated because I have invested in many games, and I don't want to lose access. It's unfair that the adult player who instigated this behavior is not facing consequences for disrespecting a minor. I request that my account be unbanned. Thank you.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my PS4 account as my children played games leading to me being logged out. Upon trying to log back in, my password was not accepted. Despite previously being able to reset my password successfully, this time I have not received any reset emails in my inbox or junk mail folders. I attempted to contact US support without any success. Additionally, I noticed suspicious activity related to my Google email account. Hello, I am currently located outside the US and am facing difficulties recovering my PlayStation account. While I know the password, the account has 2-step verification and I no longer have access to the registered phone number. This is preventing me from signing in on new devices. Unfortunately, the live chat is not accessible from overseas IPs, the bot cannot assist me, and when I try calling the service, I am prompted for a 'support ID' that I cannot locate on the website. I have encountered account issues on Playstation where I was wrongly reported twice. I tried to reach out to them to discuss the problems, but unfortunately, they did not respond. Although I managed to retrieve my account later on, I have now been suspended permanently due to an incident involving freedom of speech during a casual chat with my friends. The conversations were light-hearted without any intention of being offensive. I am willing to serve the suspension for the initial issue I was reported for; however, the subsequent reports seem to have been made thoughtlessly by someone before leaving the chat. The first report was about an 'Among Us' meme shared in a group chat, and the second was my response to a hateful and racist comment made by another user in the same chat. I am eager to have my account reinstated as it seems I am being restricted from expressing myself freely in these chats.

I recently got an email notifying me that the email address linked to my PS4 account was changed without my authorization. Consequently, I am unable to access my account. I spent thirty minutes on the phone with a representative who was unable to provide further details and suggested creating a new account. He promised to send a link via email on how to transfer my previous purchases, but I never received it. Since then, I have been unsuccessful in reaching out to PlayStation support, feeling neglected and concerned that my card information may be compromised.

I have recently received a 30-day ban, and I am very frustrated by this decision. I find it unfair that I often receive disrespectful messages and insults from other players, yet when I stand up for myself, I am the one facing consequences. I feel the banning system is biased and favors certain accounts. PlayStation is my main source of entertainment, especially during this time when PS5 consoles are hard to find. Having my account suspended takes away something positive in my life. I am considering switching to Xbox since I have never faced a ban from Microsoft. I believe it's unjust for others to report me for standing up for myself. I urge Sony to reconsider their decision and restore my account.

During a game of Fortnite in the creative mode, I encountered an issue with another player. I followed a player outside the safe zone, attempted to attack, but was met with taunting emotes. Following this encounter, I received messages from a stranger accusing me of unfair play and violating the terms of service. Despite my attempts to report and distance myself from the conversation, I was unexpectedly signed out of PSN for alleged violations. My account was temporarily banned for 3 days due to sending inappropriate messages. Today is the day I should be able to access my account again since the ban time has passed, but I can't access it on either console or mobile. I understand my behavior was wrong, and I apologize to the PlayStation team. I want to recover my account because I have been using it for many years and purchasing video games. I need help resetting my password for my account. I am unable to recover it as the security question asks for my birthdate, which I do not recall since it was entered as false information during sign-up. I attempted to contact PlayStation for assistance, but a support ID is required to speak with them, which I can only obtain while logged in - a task impossible without the forgotten password. My only wish is to reset the password for the account promptly, by any means necessary.

Hello, I initiated a chargeback on my son's account around a month ago due to unauthorized purchases while we were on vacation in Florida. Numerous transactions for FIFA points were made without our knowledge resulting in a significant amount of money being spent. Unfortunately, my son's account has been banned as a result, which he is understandably upset about. He has put a lot of effort into building his account and plays with many friends. I mistakenly bought two 12-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions. I canceled the second purchase with transaction number [redacted]98. Unfortunately, I don't have the transaction number for the first purchase. My account on the PlayStation Network has been permanently suspended for violations (error code WS-[redacted]-7). I believe my Playstation 5 account may have been compromised. Yesterday, I received an email stating my password was changed, but I did not initiate the change myself. Today, when attempting to reset the password, I am not receiving any emails to complete the process. It seems like my account might have been hacked, as I cannot regain access despite my efforts to reset the password.

My younger brother occasionally plays on my account on our shared console. Sadly, he recently engaged in inappropriate communication with another player while on my account, causing it to be banned. I would greatly appreciate it if the ban could be lifted. He enjoys playing on my account due to the various skins, but I'm upset and frustrated by his actions. My Playstation account got suspended because of my little brother's actions. He was messaging someone on the platform, saying things that led to the suspension. I take responsibility for what happened. I am kindly requesting the lifting of the suspension.
