I haven't used PayPal in a long time. I can't recall my password or security answers. I've been struggling to create a new account to securely store my details for future use. I have a contribution from last Monday that I cannot access. Can I please get help opening a new account without needing to remember forgotten information? My memory isn't as sharp at 64. Thank you.

I bought a pair of red women's waterproof warm boots, similar to high-top shoes, for $22 including tax. Then I got an offer to add another pair for $13, resulting in a total charge of $61.98. I'm requesting a full refund on my card. Despite declining to open a PayPal account, I was charged by PayPal with the merchant listed as "PP CARE" on my statement. I've already emailed you immediately regarding this issue from my email address at [redacted] or [redacted], but received no response. Please address this promptly as this unexpected charge is impacting my ability to pay my bills. Thank you.

I transferred money from ebay on Wednesday night and I'm still waiting for it to be in my bank account. According to ebay's phone line, it usually takes 1 business day if you don't withdraw the money right away. If I had known it would take this long, I would have paid the 1% fee to get my money immediately. It's frustrating that they deducted fees quickly but the transfer is taking so long. Do I have to wait another 4 days to receive my money? Waiting up to 2 business days after the transfer is reasonable, but I expected Paypal to be more efficient. Dan Rucoi

Dear PayPal, I made a purchase for the "Dj UraGun x Zapy x ILL4G x MadRock x 07 - Solo Gas Recordz Mixtape [redacted]" earlier today. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the download was unsuccessful every time I attempted it. After multiple tries, the site notified me that I had reached the download limit. Hence, I essentially paid 10 Euros without receiving the product. I kindly request either a functioning download link or a refund of the 10 Euros. Eagerly awaiting your reply. Sincerely, Marco Madzharov

I used the PayPal app and selected PayPal Credit as my preferred payment method to send $[redacted] for goods and services. However, the recipient could not access the payment due to a hold on their PayPal account. They contacted PayPal, and Abby assisted by refunding the $[redacted] back to my account. The refund appears completed on my end, but it has not reflected in my PayPal Credit balance or available credit yet. This delay is causing a significant issue for both me and the recipient as I urgently need to resend the $[redacted] payment to them through the recipient's verified and non-held account using my PayPal Credit today. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am wondering if it is acceptable to utilize a personal PayPal account for an online poker home game tournament fundraiser that benefits legal charities. Our plan is to use PayPal for sending entry fees and distributing winnings on a weekly basis. Monthly, the proceeds will be allocated to support a charity involved in promoting literacy. No additional fees will be charged; it is solely for recreational purposes and charity donations. I am seeking guidance on whether this application of PayPal is permissible for our cause.

In October [redacted], I completed the sale of my BMW M3 through PayPal, receiving a total of $[redacted] in payments. The transactions started in May [redacted]. I managed the payments in my personal account alongside my business account used for Freelance design work. I lacked a debit card for my personal account due to Unauthorized charges, waiting for a replacement. Needing funds for a car down payment, I tried transferring money from my personal to business account with a card. Unfortunately, both accounts got limited for dealing with large sums. Despite submitting required documents to lift limits and contacting PayPal extensively, my accounts remained restricted. Eventually, they got permanently closed and put on a [redacted]-day hold due to unclear reasons related to vehicle sales not aligning with PayPal policies. This hold, starting on November 29, [redacted], caused significant losses like my beach house and car purchase plans, leaving me homeless with stolen belongings, including my phone. In May, I received withdrawal eligibility emails for both accounts. While accessing one account by answering security questions, I faced login issues with the other account despite knowing the correct details. The account prompted for verification via text to my lost phone number, which I tried retrieving from Verizon without success. Numerous attempts to resolve this with PayPal led to dead-ends, feeling frustrated about the unjust handling of my funds.

I approved a payment for £0.00 for a recurring transaction that was supposed to renew in one year. Despite this, £24.31 was deducted from my account immediately. I disputed the charge, but my claim was rejected. When trying to appeal through the system, I was directed to a button that doesn't exist. I authorized a payment of £0.00 and was under the impression that there would be no cost involved. I have proof in the confirmation email with details from PayPal showing a total of £0.00. However, my account was still debited. The order information includes the order number, date, and payment method. I am worried about unauthorized payments and would like a refund of £24.31 as the product was supposed to be free as indicated in the original email and invoice. Thank you. Best, John C.

I have been selling on eBay via PayPal since [redacted]. Recently, when I tried to list items on eBay, I received an error message stating that my email address was not working with PayPal at the moment. I reached out to both companies multiple times today to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, my experience with PayPal's customer service was not satisfactory. I had difficulty understanding the foreign representatives, and they struggled to comprehend my problem. One representative asked me irrelevant questions about unfamiliar addresses, and now I have to wait 48 hours for a verification process based on my responses. Below is the only email address I use for both eBay and PayPal. I hope you can promptly email me a solution and an apology. I have maintained more than $[redacted] in my PayPal account for several years. If the issue cannot be resolved, please send me a check.

I purchased a "Squirtle 95/[redacted] NM NM Near Mint Legendary Collection Reverse Rare Holo Pokemon" card on September 16th from the seller "appleid_98," also known as Taylor Drake, on PayPal. However, there have been some issues with the transaction: - The seller marked the card as sent on September 27th, 11 days after my purchase. - I received a tracking number, UA[redacted]64US, but there have been delays and the seller eventually canceled the shipment. - Despite my inquiries, the seller has not provided updated tracking information or a resolution. I am concerned that I may have been scammed. Can I take action before the estimated delivery date of October 20, [redacted], to seek a refund? Your advice on how to address this situation would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Eirik J. Granados

I am wondering if I can utilize my Paypal account to make a bank ACH transfer from my bank. I recently received a notice from the State of Mississippi stating that I owe $[redacted].08, and I need to settle this by October 15th. I want to make the payment online using my Paypal credit card, but I won't have the necessary funds to repay both Paypal and my bank account until the 25th. I am hoping to prevent a tax lien from impacting my credit score and safeguard my assets. Is there any assistance Paypal can offer me in this situation?

I had an issue with a company through PayPal where I ordered multiple dresses but only received one shirt. Despite requesting a refund and facing unresponsiveness from the company, they eventually offered $97 out of the $[redacted] spent. I declined the partial refund and they later provided a return address in China, though returning one item would cost more than its $20 price. Even after requesting to return the item with free shipping as advertised and encountering obstacles such as lack of tracking, my case was still denied by PayPal. I am still missing the rest of my order and need assistance with this situation.

I previously ordered 2 recliner chairs from eBay as a guest buyer. I used my credit card via PayPal for payment. I did not receive a purchase confirmation email. The charge of $83.98 appeared on my credit card statement, but I have not received the items. I am unable to find a phone number to track my order. Attempts to communicate with customer service have only led to automated responses. I am hoping for a phone call to speak with a person to resolve this matter. Thank you.

Ebay has announced their separation from PayPal due to computer issues. They mentioned escalating a ticket to resolve the problem of the system defaulting back to the same screen despite changing passwords. The user described a frustrating experience with PayPal's outsourced customer service in the Philippines, labeling it a Kafkaesque ordeal lasting from 4 to 6 pm. They faced misinformation, request for repeated personal details, and a demand for photo ID to prove identity, escalating when requesting a supervisor. The user criticized the lack of clarity and consistency in the customer service process, expressing thoughts about discontinuing the outsourcing service used by PayPal.

I recently attempted to dispute a charge of $[redacted].48 paid via Paypal for clothing items. I quickly changed my mind after placing the order and promptly requested cancellation from the vendor within 3 hours. Despite my efforts, the vendor did not respond to my cancellation request and instead only sent a shipment notification. I initiated a dispute with Paypal and contacted my bank for assistance, providing evidence including the email requesting cancellation and the vendor's stated refund/cancellation policy of 24 hours. Unfortunately, Paypal notified me that I cannot continue the dispute with them, and my bank denied the credit claim citing lack of supporting information, despite my multiple submissions. I declined the packages from FedEx and received only one item, returning the rest. I am looking for guidance on how to potentially reopen the dispute with Paypal given these circumstances.

I created my PayPal account while in South Africa, but now I live in Germany. I forgot my password and tried to reset it via email, but the login page still asks for a phone number for security checks, which I no longer have access to. Creating a new account is not possible due to my email being already registered. I need access to my account without phone verification so I can update my number to a German one. The old South African number on my account is [redacted][redacted], and my email is [redacted] I urgently need access to make a payment via PayPal by the end of next week. I hope to hear back soon. Best, SRM

I received an email that seems fraudulent asking me to click a link due to unusual account activity. I was cautious and did not click the link. I attempted to verify my account using Safari without success. I also tried reaching out to PayPal chat support for help. Unfortunately, I encountered issues sending messages through the chat interface. Despite these challenges, I am still working on verifying that my account is secure. It seems like there may be technical difficulties on the chat platform.

My linked card in PayPal was affected by fraud, leading to unauthorized charges. Upon contacting Cap 1, they promptly canceled the card and issued a replacement. I've updated my PayPal account with the new card details, removed the old one, and even attempted to add another bank card. Unfortunately, my account is now restricted, asking for more identity verification such as address and phone number for text messages, but I am unable to input this information. I believed PayPal offered additional security measures, so I'm unsure why my account is limited. What should I do next to regain full access to my PayPal account? Thank you for your assistance.

PayPal requested verification through my old phone number in Switzerland, despite me not residing there for over 7 years and the number being inactive. I did attempt to change the number but encountered issues with activation. After various failed attempts for about an hour, I got completely locked out of my account. Accessing customer service requires logging in, which I cannot do. The only option left seems to be waiting on an international call for over an hour. It's concerning when my funds are with them and I have no access to my account.

I had trouble placing an order on Walmart's website. Despite trying five times to finalize the payment with PayPal, it kept redirecting me back to the payment page. When I attempted again from the email confirmation you sent, I realized I made a small error in the cents, causing an insufficient funds message. This led to multiple submissions for the same amount, resulting in holds on my account. I am now unable to proceed with the purchase until the holds are released. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue promptly, so I can place the order in time for delivery on Friday, October 11th. Thank you in advance for your help, I look forward to your response.
