Hello. A while back, I called regarding a fraudulent user who emailed me posing as PayPal, asking for a tracking number before crediting my account. I realized it was a scam after I sent the tracking number and didn't receive payment for the item I sold (£[redacted]+postage). I reached out to Action Fraud Police (Case Number: NFRC[redacted]27) but haven't heard back. Recently, a friend mentioned that I might be able to get a refund from PayPal. Can you confirm if this is an option now?

I purchased a pair of Arch supporting booties from EZ2smart on pukiso.com. They charged me $44.98 but I didn't receive an order confirmation. I realized I could get the same boots cheaper on Amazon. Last night, I logged in for the first time in months and realized my password had been changed. I had to reset it. I also noticed an unfamiliar email on my account as I wasn't receiving the verification code. Someone had obviously hacked into my account. Despite this, I managed to log in and remove their fake email, replacing it with my correct email. Unfortunately, I couldn't delete the hacker's fake email. Additionally, there is a $[redacted] transaction that I don't recognize, and I hope this won't lead to any NSF fees. My PayPal account, which I've had for years, is now unusable. I am concerned about the security breach and how the hacker gained access to my account. Can this be resolved? I received a suspicious email after selling an item. The email claims that the customer has transferred money but it's on hold. I'm unsure if it's a legitimate message from PayPal or a scam. It requests payment for transport charges to a supposed Transport Agent before finalizing the transaction and getting the funds. They ask for €[redacted].00 EUR to be transferred via Moneygram and a scanned copy of the receipt in .JPG format. I'm hesitant about this request.

I recently bought a pen on eBay, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a counterfeit. I took the necessary steps by opening a dispute on PayPal. Following PayPal's instructions, I opted to ship the item back for a refund. I chose to use Johnny Air Cargo for the return since it was the fastest option from the Philippines. I made sure to upload the shipping receipt for PayPal's verification. Despite my efforts, my refund request was denied due to a lack of valid proof or tracking information indicating the return of the merchandise. After contacting the shipping company, they confirmed that the pen was indeed delivered to the seller. It's frustrating as I spent an extra $50 for the return shipping only to be denied the refund in the end. Any advice or assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I was informed that a refund of £50 was issued to my debit card, but I have not received it yet. It took a few days to reflect in my PayPal account, so I assumed it should have been transferred to my bank promptly. However, after more than three days, the refund has not shown up in my bank account. When trying to initiate a dispute, I am prompted that it is not a PayPal issue, despite them being the mediator. If PayPal confirms they have indeed received the £50, shouldn't it have been processed already? Interestingly, my mother is encountering a similar situation where a substantial amount is not reflecting in her PayPal balance.

On October 7, [redacted], I purchased yarn from a Canadian on Facebook in the group "We are in" from Corrine at "Color My Butterfly." I tried to pay $84.00 US using the Friends and Family option but got confused and accidentally sent the payment to myself, Candace Tyler-Herrenkohl. Despite my initial mistake, I paid the correct amount through an invoice sent by Corrine because I was nodding off while using Friends and Family. According to PayPal, the $84.00 payment was successfully received by Corrine, but the $80.00 I mistakenly sent to Candace Tyler (myself) is showing as both pending and sent. Even though the $80.00 was deducted from my bank account, it appears to be lost in cyberspace. I kindly request a refund of the $80.00 to be sent back to my PayPal account under the name of Candace Tyler-Herrenkohl. Thank you.

My account recently got restricted due to alleged two other accounts with balances that do not belong to me. Consequently, my husband's paycheck was deposited, and we are unable to access the funds. I have been using this PayPal account for over two years and have never had any other accounts associated with it. Unauthorized transactions were made over the weekend from ATMs in a state I wasn't even in. Despite reporting fraud and providing evidence, my dispute was denied, and I was told I would not be reimbursed. Shortly after, my account was limited, and I was informed of the existence of two old accounts with balances linked to my social security number, which I was not aware of. This situation has created a lot of inconvenience, and I am disappointed with PayPal's handling of the issue.

I have been trying to understand why my account was restricted initially. I believe I have not misused PayPal, and it is unjust to exclude me and withhold my funds, which were my entire paycheck for two weeks. This situation caused me immense stress as I struggled to get by during those two weeks, and I am still catching up months later. After months of waiting, eBay Packlink has finally acknowledged the loss of my parcels and agreed to compensate me. They have requested my bank account number and sort code to process the refund as they claimed they cannot transfer the funds through PayPal, the method I used for payment. The email I received contained some text in Spanish.
I received this information on October 1, [redacted], and I am hesitant to provide my bank details. I'm inquiring with PayPal to understand why eBay Packlink cannot issue refunds through their platform, as I prefer not to share my bank information and specifically use PayPal for such transactions.

They promised the money would be in my account by 6pm last night, but it's still not there. They now say it'll be in by 2pm today. I need to confirm the payment before handing over the item. I have been trying everything to grab the attention of a member of the PayPal team. I chatted with someone live but couldn't follow their suggestions. Yesterday, I was scammed on Facebook while trying to buy two sold-out tickets for a Shy FX event in Bournemouth. I thought the seller was legitimate and provided proof of purchase, but after sending the money through PayPal, I received nothing. The seller has ignored my messages, and I suspect they have scammed others too. I have asked for a refund multiple times, but to no avail. I desperately need my £30 back. Despite opening a case, it was closed swiftly without addressing the fraud. I have evidence and believe I am entitled to a refund based on PayPal's policy. I couldn't appeal the closure of my case as the option was not given to me. Please respond promptly as I am quite worried.

I need assistance with pending transactions from Hampton Suites in Nampa, Idaho, being returned to my balance. Hampton has confirmed they released the charges. I have $97 in my PayPal account and another $[redacted] on hold from eBay. The $97 available cannot be used due to an error message displayed when I try to make a transaction, transfer to my bank, or move the funds to my PayPal card. After spending over 40 hours on the phone with customer service this week, they suggest waiting 48 hours and contacting them again due to a security issue with their computer system. Despite their assurance to help after 48 hours, the problem persists each time I follow their advice. It seems there is no way to override their computer system despite the potential malfunction that prevents access to my funds. It's frustrating that their control over my money seems so rigid, with no immediate solution provided by the supervisors I have spoken with.

I am currently in the process of closing my personal account and transferring the funds to my new business account. I was informed by a representative that an email would be sent to the email address associated with the account, but I discovered it in my message center within the account instead. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the account to follow the instructions correctly due to outdated information, including an old phone number and address, and a forgotten password. I have tried to explain this to the representative without success. I need PayPal to send the email directly to my current email address to resolve this issue efficiently.
