Hello, I recently received an email informing me that my account has been suspended. An excerpt from the email reads: "We have discovered an unauthorized transaction request on your PayPal account linked to your credit card. As a precaution, we have temporarily suspended the transaction for 24 hours. If you authorized this transaction, please disregard this message. Please note that PayPal will send an SMS to your phone number with a cancellation code. You must enter this code to finalize the cancellation of the unauthorized payment. The code will include the amount and details of the unauthorized transaction." Could you please confirm if this email is legitimate? Thank you, C.L.

Unfortunately, while I expected the card to be charged upon shipment, it seems this transaction was missed. I purchased a mirror LED light from eBay, but it hasn't arrived, and they charged me £80.90. eBay asked me to contact my bank, where they confirmed the payment. The bank advised me to call PayPal. PayPal informed me that no money was taken, despite the screenshot showing the transaction. I don't have a PayPal account. I attempted to send the screenshot, but encountered issues. I made a purchase on 10/20, but Ebay cancelled the transaction with code 30G27969VY114930P. Despite paying immediately and the funds being deducted from my Wells Fargo account, the refund is scheduled to clear only on 10/24. This delay prevents me from making another purchase. I urge for an immediate refund processing as the cancellation was not the seller's or my fault. Waiting till 10/24 is inconvenient, given that the payment was deducted promptly. Hello! I'm Patience M. I reached out to PayPal regarding my order from Wholesale7 that I haven't received. The package is currently held by Aramax due to a misdeclaration issue resulting in a penalty of R500. The supplier is willing to pay 50% of the penalty, leaving me to cover the rest. I no longer wish to receive the product as the costs have increased significantly. I had to contact Aramex for updates on my package, paid for inspection, and then faced further delays. Hello, my name is Kristen Gibson. I received an American Express gift card from my employer two days ago and began using it yesterday. Today, after making two more purchases, I checked my balance only to find out there was $39 left. Shortly after, when I tried to use the card at Walmart, it was declined. Upon checking my balance online, I discovered that my information had been compromised and used without my authorization. I contacted customer service and reported the fraudulent activity. The fraudulent purchase was made by someone named Mark, and I received a claim number #o[redacted]55e4 and a merchant number #[redacted]44. This has been incredibly upsetting as I was in the process of buying Halloween costumes for my kids with the remaining funds that were stolen from me.

Hello, I hope you are doing well! I am experiencing an issue with linking my bank account to my PayPal account. Initially, I connected my bank, but I mistakenly removed it. Following this, I attempted to link it again without success. Consequently, I closed my PayPal account, cleared my cache, created a new account, and endeavored to connect it to the same bank. I am having trouble updating my Paypal account because the email address associated with it is invalid. Despite correctly answering security questions, I am unable to verify my identity since the verification step goes to my outdated email. This has left me unable to pay a service provider in the USA. I am located in South Africa, and the process for verification does not accommodate my international phone number starting with +27. I urgently need assistance in deleting my current Paypal account so I can create a new one with the correct email and payment details. Your help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I previously had a PayPal account set up in Israel in Hebrew, but it's been inactive for over 4 years. Now in Australia with the same email but different details, I want to either access and update the old account for international transfers or close it and open a new one with the same email. When trying to access my old account with a new code sent to my email (as SMS isn't relevant), it states an account already exists with the email. On October 10, [redacted], I ordered two full lace human hair wigs, but unfortunately, they were not as described. I filed a dispute on October 19, [redacted], to request a refund. However, the return information provided the next day was incorrect, making it impossible for me to return the wigs. I simply want my money back as I no longer wish to keep the wigs due to this error. I do believe I deserve a refund in this situation as I feel misled by the inaccurate return instructions, leading to a frustrating experience.

Issue: I deposited $[redacted].00 on my PayPal prepaid MasterCard, but someone compromised the card by submitting their information to get a replacement card. Despite having the card, original packaging, and receipt, PayPal is siding with the criminal. I just want to activate my card with my details to pay my overdue student loan. I can't contact the person who tried to steal my card, so I can't provide verification info. This situation has been a major hassle, and PayPal isn't helping me, even though I have all the proof. I'm willing to send images or visit a store, but I can't provide the criminal's ID or SSN. I need to resolve this to activate my own card to pay my bills.

On August 10th, I accidentally sent money to "Festus Kwatsima" when buying concert tickets. The PayPal username provided to me was off by one letter, and I couldn't cancel the transaction in time. This was my first time using PayPal and unfortunately, I ended up losing the $65.04 without sending it to the intended recipient. I kindly request a refund for this amount. I noticed a PhP10,[redacted].00 charge on my MetroBank Card from PayPal, although I haven't used my PayPal account in over a year. I contacted MetroBank right away, but the charge is still pending. MetroBank verified that the charge is indeed from PayPal. When I tried to log in to my PayPal account, the system indicated that there is no account associated with my email, despite me receiving PayPal emails there. Shortly after, I was contacted on Facebook by someone who also experienced a financial loss and shared a screenshot of the transfer made. She informed me that she reported the incident to BDO regarding her debit card. Given this situation, I request a prompt reversal of the PhP10,[redacted].00 from my MetroBank account.

When PayPal notified me of the changes via email, I promptly informed them, both in writing and over the phone, that I did not authorize any modifications. I have evidence of the email I sent and phone records confirming two separate calls to PayPal rejecting any changes to my account. I have always maintained a good payment history with PayPal and have not made any payments to Synchrony Bank since they took over my account. I refuse to make any payments to an account involving Synchrony Bank, as I never consented to this transfer. PayPal is at fault for fraudulently selling an account under the name of Brian H. without proper authorization. This notice serves to highlight PayPal's fraudulent actions on this matter.
