I received a bill from a collection agency claiming PayPal is the creditor. I have been attempting to sort this out, but no one can explain the charge to me. After contacting PayPal, one agent advised me to purchase a Google card from Walmart and share the security code, which seems suspicious. Another agent said I owe nothing. However, the collection agency insists I do owe. I have scoured numerous pages on the PayPal website without finding a solution, just more pages to navigate. I am eager to resolve this as I believe I do not owe anything, and if I did, why was it not handled conventionally given my payment information is on file? After spending one frustrating hour on multiple phone calls, it has been impossible to reach a human being for assistance.

My claim for a refund from Detroit Power was denied although we agreed to a $[redacted] refund. Upon seeing a credit on my card, I assumed the refund was processed. However, after clearing a debt, the remaining amount was deposited into my checking account. Detroit Power claims the refund hasn't been set up, and I received an email from you requesting the funds back. It appears there was a mix-up as the refund given wasn't from Detroit Power. I won't return the money until I receive the $[redacted] owed. Due to this issue, I have deleted my account with your company. It would be best to coordinate with Detroit Power directly to resolve this matter efficiently.

On May 10, [redacted], I contacted PayPal regarding creating a shipping label. I spoke with an agent who redirected me to another agent, claiming my account had been hacked by someone from Canada for $[redacted]. The agent advised me to purchase a Google Play gift card to resolve the issue. During the call, I bought a gift card, but the agent claimed it was wrong and instructed me to buy another one, promising PayPal would reimburse me. Unfortunately, my debit card couldn't cover the second gift card amount, leading the store employees to warn me of a scam. When I returned home, I had not received any emails from PayPal as mentioned by the agent. I am disappointed by this and still haven't resolved my shipping label issue. Can someone assist me with this situation?

I recently received a payment, but my account was unexpectedly blocked or limited right before I could accept it. I believe the main problem is that I hadn't verified my account before receiving the payment. I had already linked my bank account and debit card to my PayPal account in preparation to make a payment. Unfortunately, I was unable to accept the money sent by a friend, as I didn't have any invoices to provide for the transaction.

Hello, I am reaching out about a login issue with the account registered under [redacted] I am Mary, as a side note, my partner is Beth. I am unable to access the account due to not having the old phone number or remembering the security question. With multiple credit cards and a busy schedule, sorting through them is challenging. I have attempted to log in several times over the past week without success. Typically, these issues resolve within 24 hours, but this one persists. Perhaps confirming recent transactions could help to verify my identity. I want to assure you that my other accounts are secure, and no suspicious activities have been noticed. I have authorized access from CICERO, IL. I appreciate any assistance in restoring my account promptly so I can attend to pending payments. If necessary, I can provide details of my Chase Bank checking accounts, which are easier to access and share. Thank you for your swift response. Kindly reach out to me via email.

I am experiencing issues with my device and am hoping you can assist me in resolving them. I recently purchased a new battery for my GT-S5570, and now I am having trouble with unlocking iTunes on my iPhone 4s. Whenever I try to unlock it, the screen keeps reverting back. Additionally, there seems to be a problem with the charging of the phone, as it does not charge correctly. The device also displays a crack that affects its functionality. I believe I am eligible for a refund based on an email I received. However, I am not able to proceed on the website. I would appreciate any help you can provide in addressing these multiple issues. Thank you.

I'm having trouble accessing my PayPal credit account online. When I reach the phone verification page, it claims to have sent a code to my number, but I never receive it despite requesting multiple resends. My phone number is [redacted]. I've attempted to contact customer service for assistance, but there isn't an option provided that addresses my issue. Although I managed to make a payment over the phone today, I need the online functionality as well. Interestingly, the automated system recognized my number during the payment call. Why am I not receiving the texted code online, and how can I resolve this issue? I now regret using phone text verification as it has resulted in me being locked out. I'd prefer to remove this extra security step if it means dealing with these problems. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

I am concerned about possible fraud involving PayPal. I posted an ad on Craigslist for a fence and have been contacted by someone who claims to be in the military. They instructed me to open a PayPal account and are now asking me to send money via Money Gram. PayPal is showing there's $[redacted] in the account but says I must send $[redacted] via Money Gram, along with a $50 fee, to access the total amount. I feel uneasy about this situation and would appreciate if someone could contact me for further details to confirm if this is a scam.

I have been encountering difficulties with my PayPal account and have been unsuccessful in reaching out for assistance. Upon creating my PayPal account and linking my bank card, I encountered an issue when trying to transfer funds to my bank card as it requested an IBAN number which my bank advised I do not have. Despite receiving a source code with my account number from my bank, the code was not the required 27 characters in length and didn't work. I attempted to transfer funds to another PayPal account, but it failed consistently with messages prompting to retry later or only allowing transfers from my bank card, which I prefer not to utilize. Emails and calls to customer service have been unfruitful with generic responses that do not address my specific problem. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly.

I'm experiencing difficulties with my PayPal account. I recently created the account and linked my bank card. However, when attempting to transfer funds to my bank card, it requests an IBAN number my bank says I don’t have. I tried a source code followed by my account number, but it was too short and unsuccessful. I also tried transferring the money to another PayPal account without success. Emails received automated responses not addressing my issue, and my calls resulted in long waits without resolution. I'm eager to resolve this matter promptly to access my funds. Thank you.

On April 2nd, I purchased a one-year Sam's Club membership through Groupon for $45 as a birthday gift for my daughter. The payment was processed by PayPal from my bank account. Unfortunately, my daughter faced issues with registering the gift, and 30 days later, she was notified by Groupon that the offer had expired. Despite her efforts to resolve it by contacting both Sam's Club and Groupon, she hasn't received a refund promised during a live chat with Groupon customer service. Recently, I received an email from Groupon stating they were refunding the $45. When I inquired through live chat, the representative couldn't locate the order details, even with the provided order number. I was directed to wait for management to contact me but haven't heard back since May 6th. Desperate for a resolution, I reached out via email, as no phone number was available on the website. Upon checking my Groupon account, I discovered that instead of a refund, I was given Groupon Bucks, which don't align with my expectations. These credits expire in 90 days, adding more stress to the situation. Despite my continuous attempts to address this, I have not received a proper response. I am hopeful that PayPal's involvement in the transaction can facilitate a resolution and provide the refund I seek, as the Groupon Bucks are not a suitable alternative. Your assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My claim with PayPal was denied for an item I purchased that does not match the pictured item. I ordered wig number [redacted] from Paula Young wigs, but the wig I received has more gray tones instead of the golden blond shown online. When I contacted customer service, I was treated rudely and unprofessionally. Despite trying to understand why my claim was denied, the agent was unhelpful and just kept mentioning uploading a photo to the resolution center, which I couldn't find on my PayPal account. After unsuccessful attempts to get a call back from PayPal as promised, I feel this is not how customer service should be. I simply want to know the reason for the denial and how to proceed with uploading the photo from my phone to PayPal. Clarifying the denial reason is important to me, as I am clearly unsatisfied with the color discrepancy of the wig I received compared to what was advertised. I appreciate your help in addressing this issue promptly. Thank you, Barbara Ann Eigenbrode (Pixey)

I purchased a digital producer sound kit through Instagram DM and sent $15 to the seller. Unfortunately, when I received the product, it was not the sound kit I expected. Despite providing evidence through screenshots, the seller insists that it's the correct item, which is frustrating. To address this issue, I opened a dispute with PayPal, and the case ID is (PP-D-[redacted]9). The seller's response to the dispute was accusing me of being a scammer, which is untrue. I am unable to upload my screenshots as evidence because the seller quickly escalated the case before I could respond. I fear that I may not receive a refund due to the seller's false claims and manipulation of the situation.

Dear Team, I hope you are all well. I am facing an issue while trying to correct a minor mistake in my name on the settings. I am being prompted to upload documents for the name change, but the system is not accepting them. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach customer service during Indian business hours as instructed by the US customer care. This has caused frustration as my clients are having trouble making payments, possibly due to this small error. I kindly request assistance and a customer care number accessible during Indian hours for immediate support. Alternatively, a link to correct this single-word mistake would be greatly appreciated. My name is Kamal Kishor Mandal, but there seems to be an error with "Kishore", where the letter "e" was mistakenly added. Please note that my client's payment attempts have been unsuccessful, with the merchant declining the transactions. Could this be linked to the name discrepancy? Your prompt help is highly valued.

Hello, I require assistance setting up a new Paypal business account in Dubai. Despite being based in the UAE now, when I attempt to create the account, I am unable to select AED as the currency. It seems to default to Thai Baht, possibly due to my previous account being linked to Bangkok. I have changed the email association to set up the new Dubai account, but it still reverts to Thailand. This is problematic as I face currency exchange losses. Unfortunately, I can't call support as I am not in Canada or the US. Can you investigate why I am experiencing this issue with my account under the name "Corry MacDonald" linked to [redacted] and provide a solution?

Hello Mr. McLean, I recently experienced issues with PayPal's Claims Department regarding a case that was closed prematurely without a thorough investigation, leading me to resolve the matter directly with the seller, Google Play Store, for a refund. Despite my attempts to raise a formal complaint, I was unsuccessful. I require a Complaints reference number and a final response letter to proceed with escalating my concern to the Financial Ombudsman service. Additionally, I faced challenges with the callback feature disconnecting before I could speak to a representative. Case Details: - Case ID: PP-D-[redacted]2 - Dispute reason: Item not as described - Status: Closed, decided in seller's favor - Seller: Google - Transaction amount: £9.99 GBP - Transaction ID: 6NU20880XC679981U - Date reported: 10 May [redacted] I seek a resolution for the faulty app and a full refund. Contacting the developer directly did not yield the expected outcome. Please provide the necessary information for me to proceed with my complaint. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, Mr. Bharat Vyas [redacted] Ealing Road Wembley Middlesex HA0 1EU

I had a terrible experience with this company. I placed an order for a blanket, paid for it, and heard nothing until I cancelled my order and initiated a dispute with both my credit card company and PayPal. Despite cancelling, a few months later, a poorly made blanket arrived at my door. I decided not to incur return shipping costs and donated it to Goodwill. Now, I am receiving collection letters from them. I appreciate PayPal for promptly assisting with my order cancellation. It is clear from the numerous complaints that this company lacks credibility.

On the 16th, I got an email alerting me to suspicious activity on my account. I had to log in to change my password. Upon logging in, I noticed a $[redacted] pending transfer from my bank account. I immediately disputed the transfer, stating it was not authorized by me. Despite my efforts, the transfer went through on the 20th. Paypal received the funds on the 21st, but instead of an immediate transfer, a regular one was used. The money was available in my account on the 22nd. Meanwhile, my Paypal account was frozen. As soon as the funds reached my bank, I closed my Paypal account with no intentions of using their services again.

On Wednesday evening at 7:17:56 PM EDT, I initiated transaction (#58G211512A482150Y). The next day, upon checking, I noticed the status was "pending". I contacted the customer service line at [redacted] on May 17 around 12:30 PM to inquire about the pending status. Unfortunately, I was informed that the account linked to the last 4 digits I provided could not be located. Despite explaining that I only have one card, I was unable to receive assistance from the representative. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service I have received from PayPal and would like to request an immediate cancellation of my transaction. Please provide written confirmation of the cancellation or guidance on the cancellation process. Maxine K.

I recently experienced unauthorized charges on my account, which I reported and received a refund for. Following instructions, I removed my card to prevent further unauthorized access. I now need to start using PayPal again, however, I am unable to access my account as I do not have a cell phone for texts or to take pictures of ID or email. I'm looking to purchase a phone but only have a basic satellite talking phone at home. The company I want to buy the phone from only accepts PayPal. I am unsure how to proceed as I am not tech-savvy and don't have assistance. Could you provide alternative security questions for me to answer or should I create a new account? Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.
