I'm Gabriela Talmaciu. I'm reaching out about my PayPal account. Last week, my phone was stolen, but I now have a new one. Unfortunately, I can't access my account since I no longer have my recovery number. I have my email and card details, but the system keeps trying to send a text code to my old number. Despite selecting the email option for the code, I'm not receiving any emails. Is there a way for me to regain access to my account?

Hello, I paid $10,[redacted] pesos to Fundación Piensa como Perro (Le Chien Sportif) yesterday, the 19th of [redacted]. It is a foundation that provides services, not products. Today, the foundation called me informing that the payment is being held back or "retenido." They have not received the funds yet. I am concerned about this delay. I believe the money should be transferred promptly. The foundation supports animals and urgently needs the funds. I request that the funds be released to Fundación Piensa como Perro as soon as possible.

On 5/24/23, I noticed a fraudulent transaction of $70. I urge PayPal to be informed about this issue. A scammer on Facebook Marketplace requested me to send money through Friends and Family for a bogus purchase. He claimed to be a farmer delivering sod for my garden and vanished after receiving the payment. PayPal should flag this email and transaction as suspicious to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.

I'm currently facing difficulty accessing my PayPal account. The account is sending the verification code to an old number that I no longer have access to. Recently, I spoke with a representative who mentioned resetting the account for necessary changes to my address and phone number, stating it would take up to 48 hours. I recently subscribed to Consumer Reports DIGITAL ONLY through PayPal. I am incredibly frustrated. I have been dealing with this issue for two days now without any clear help or resolution from your suggested methods on the website. I was instructed to call for assistance, but I have yet to receive a clear answer. I have been racking up international call charges only to be transferred repeatedly. I don't mind if my problem is eventually resolved, but I was even told, "Sorry, we can't address that concern." It's frustrating! All I need to do is access my PayPal account. I noticed three charges on my PayPal account for Walmart purchases that I did not authorize. Upon witnessing them occur, I promptly changed my password and reached out to Walmart. They successfully halted and reimbursed one charge but are being unhelpful with the other two. I am based in Georgia, and the unauthorized orders were sent to an address in Pennsylvania and two to Ellensburg, Washington. I am experiencing difficulties logging into my account for about a week now. I am trying to make a payment towards my Paypal Credit account, but I am unable to proceed past the login page. I recently noticed an unauthorized purchase on my PayPal card. I promptly contacted the company, who assured me they would refund the money. Unfortunately, my card was canceled while waiting for the refund to process, causing a delay in the reimbursement. After multiple follow-up calls on May 13, June 1, June 16, and today, July 4, I have yet to receive the refund. Each time I was given different information, from an email with refund options that I never received to being told it's now too late to process the refund and advising me to contact PayPal. I am frustrated as it has been over four months since the unauthorized transaction, and I just want my $[redacted].88 refunded promptly.

I have been using PayPal for some time now. My wife and I share a joint bank account. I have recently added my wife to PayPal using her email address. She can now log in to PayPal. She is interested in using contactless payment with Google Pay on her smartphone. Unfortunately, we are receiving an error message stating: "We are unable to link your PayPal account to Google Pay." I am writing about an order I placed on 4/26/23 for a pair of shoes that were supposed to be “Birkenstocks,” but turned out to be a poor imitation. I have tried contacting the seller multiple times to request a return address without success. They offered me a partial refund of $37.00 if I keep the shoes, which I find unacceptable. The shoes are not what I expected, and I am requesting a full refund. I am having trouble accessing my account due to the SMS verification not working for me. Although I previously set it up, now I do not receive any confirmation codes on my Yemeni phone number. I have not changed the number. It appears that your company may no longer support sending messages to Yemeni numbers. I can confirm I have access to my phone number, email, and password.

I recently received an email from a company congratulating me on my purchase of a $[redacted] TV, but it was shipped to a different state under a different name. I have never ordered such an expensive item from Etsy or sent it to someone I don't know with a Russian-sounding name. When I tried to send money from my PayPal balance, I received a message saying, "There’s a problem with your account. Please visit the Resolution Center to address any limitations on your account."
