Dear Ourtime Dating,
I recently learned about your dating service and wanted to reach out. I believe your launch of a dating service for members is brilliant and likely successful.
I've created a website focused on women, offering online coaching for a better dating experience. It covers pre-date decisions and the dates themselves. My motivation arose from years on dating sites and hearing women's stories of exploitation by men. As a qualified life coach, I wanted to assist in this area.
My site showcases my journey, and I can provide login details for your review. I believe our services could complement each other well, potentially affiliating to enhance member confidence in new dating ventures.
Best regards,
John W.

I have created a profile on your site and keep receiving matches from out-of-state and even some women, even though I specified my interest in men. I am puzzled as to why I am shown the same profiles almost daily. Additionally, why is it that whenever I call your customer service number, there is no response, just dead air before being hung up on abruptly? Is this platform legitimate or a scam? I am concerned that I paid for this service only to be matched with the same individuals repeatedly or with people who live more than 75 miles away. Kindly address each of my inquiries separately and provide a customer service number with staff available to assist.

I signed up yesterday, and I was told I would meet locals in my state, but so far, I've only been contacted by women asking for money. Their profiles have no pictures, just phone numbers displayed prominently. Instead of in-state connections, I'm getting messages from women across the country. This seems more like a site for prostitution targeting lonely individuals rather than helping people find genuine connections. I feel embarrassed and humiliated by this experience. If I don't get refunded, I will have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I don't mean to sound threatening, I just feel foolish for falling into what seems like a scam.

I had a few inquiries regarding my membership on OurTime. I found my first week to be somewhat satisfactory. However, my interaction with customer service was quite frustrating and confusing. This experience was a significant factor in my decision to request removal from the site. I felt the individual I spoke with was not very helpful and did not make an effort to explain things clearly or address my concerns effectively. Instead of receiving clarification as a new member, I ended up feeling more upset and bewildered throughout the conversation. I was initially seeking answers, but the call left me so upset that I ultimately chose to suspend my membership. The customer service representative, a young woman, did little to alleviate my distress during our conversation.

I am facing a significant issue with the members on your platform. Despite seeming authentic based on their profiles and photos, they all turned out to be fraudulent. It is disheartening to realize that there is a Nigerian group targeting women on the site. I joined hoping for a reliable platform, but instead, all I encountered were scammers. The most recent one is a user named "acookingman101" who claims to be Klaus Rembert from Germany; however, upon hearing his voice, it's clear he is Nigerian. I have already canceled my subscription due to the high number of scammers compared to genuine users on your site.

I recently encountered an issue with my automatic renewal on Our Time. Despite there being no changes to my account information, the renewal did not process. When I contacted customer service, the representative, Anna, insisted the problem was with my bank declining the payment, which was not the case. Asking for proof was futile as they dodged the question. Requesting to speak to a supervisor, Liz F. claimed to be one but provided the same unhelpful response, blaming my bank without substantiation. This lack of accountability and transparency is frustrating. I expect the company to rectify the situation by renewing my account promptly. Considering the time and effort spent contacting them twice and now writing this, I believe some form of compensation is in order for the inconvenience caused. I am disappointed with the service received. Thank you.

I would like to cancel my Our Time subscription due to my dissatisfaction with the men on the site. I have encountered inappropriate advances from multiple individuals. Moreover, I recently interacted with a man from Florida online, only to discover through our correspondence that he was using another person's name and picture. This deception led me to investigate further and confirmed that the address he provided was false. Due to these troubling experiences, I have decided to discontinue using the site and move forward with my life. I would also like to delete my profile. Thank you, FunJoyceCA.

Hello, I just recently joined your platform as I thought it would be a good place to meet people. I prefer African American females, but there are only a few on the site. I was disappointed to find that one of the profiles I was interested in had a fake picture, unlike me who chose not to upload any photos due to privacy concerns. Seeing the fake photo made me lose faith in the service. I am unhappy as I feel I wasted my $33. Can I please request a refund and cancel my subscription? I hope to resolve this issue soon. Thank you. Chanell, also known as Sharon Artis. I will contact you tomorrow morning.

I recently discovered that my subscription was automatically renewed without my knowledge. I was not aware that my subscription had ended, and I unintentionally triggered an automatic renewal by responding to an email. I did not want to renew my subscription, and I did not receive any notification that it was about to expire. Renewing subscriptions without explicit consent is unacceptable. I have already contacted my bank regarding this issue. Once the pending charge is processed, I will work with my bank to dispute the subscription fee. This business practice is not acceptable, and I am deeply disappointed by the way it was handled. I had chosen not to renew for a specific reason, and I expect my financial decisions to be respected. I will not be contacting customer service again; instead, I will be resolving this matter through my bank.

I would like to warn everyone about a scammer on the Ourtime.com dating site. This individual has used the usernames "Belief562" and "juabe606." He pretends to be a registered independent contractor as a petroleum engineer through Chevron, claiming to be a widowed father of two grown daughters. He uses affectionate language, professes love quickly, and may even propose marriage. Please beware of this scammer who goes by the name Juan Benito, aged 57, supposedly from Rochester, New York, who claims to work on oil rigs, including a recent stint in Dubai. Sadly, I fell victim to his fraudulent schemes and urge others to be cautious of his deceitful tactics. He has a history of scamming others on Match.com as well. Stay vigilant and don't fall for his lies.

I have been a two-year member on and off with OurTime, and my subscription ended on August 7th. The first customer service representative I spoke with mentioned a free 7-day trial that would end next Friday. I followed the instructions provided, but even though my account showed as free, I couldn't access my messages. After calling again, I was informed that I needed to wait 17 days from the end of my last subscription to start the free trial. They also mentioned I required a valid card for the 65% off promotion during the trial. Despite requesting to speak with a supervisor, my attempts were unsuccessful, resulting in being disconnected a few times. Due to past issues, I flagged the company, as there are many dishonest profiles. Can you assist me in activating my 7-day trial today? My email is [redacted], zip code [redacted], with the screen name pinklace56. I hope to resolve this before the trial expires. Thank you, Cheryl Padilla.

I have been waiting on the phone for two hours with two other callers ahead of me which is unacceptable. I am seeking a refund because I received a message claiming I had been reported and suspended. I only warned a man who insulted me because he wanted a personal response, so I sent him one of your pre-written flirt notes. When he continued contacting me, I firmly asked him to stop. After I removed myself from your site, I was wrongly labeled as a scammer and removed. I demand the removal of my name and pictures from your websites, as well as any mention of me on related sites I did not authorize. I do not authorize any further deductions from my bank account. Your site seems to harbor perverts and scammers, and my attempt to reach customer service was futile. It is difficult to remove information from your site, report false allegations, and cancel subscriptions. This situation is concerning and as a former police officer, I am appalled by the violations happening on your website. I expect a prompt response regarding these issues. - Bedroomeyes

I'm sending this email from my official email address, as my previous message was mistakenly sent from [redacted] Without my authorization, a profile was created in your system using my name, photo, and email address under the name Lluis777 or lluis777. In July, I signed up for an account and became a member. I'd like to cancel my subscription immediately and ensure my credit card won't be charged for the next six months. This site is filled with individuals attempting scams. Various women have contacted me claiming their family members saw my profile and want me to reach out to them via email without joining the site. These requests result in them asking for money once contact is made. I encountered similar issues when I used this site in the past under the name "Senior People Meet." People misrepresent themselves, and profiles get hacked by individuals from third-world countries who later request money. I plan to report this to the Attorney General in your state for investigation. Please cancel my subscription promptly and refrain from any further charges to my account. You can reach me at [redacted]. Thank you, Judy M.

I have attempted multiple times to cancel my account within the first 24 hours of signing up, but have been unsuccessful. I need reassurance that my profile from ourtime has not been published on any other dating platforms or websites for advertising purposes. If my information has been shared without consent, legal action will be taken. Please confirm via email that my account with ourtime and any associated sites has been terminated promptly. Additionally, I am requesting a refund of $29.99 for canceling within the specified time frame. Thank you. Lynn C. Email: [redacted]

I have attempted to cancel my membership for a few weeks now. I believed I had successfully canceled it on August 19th online and also sent an email on the same day requesting the cancellation. Despite my efforts, I have been unsuccessful in canceling my membership as I recently discovered that you have charged my credit card for the next three months. I do not wish to remain a member, and if you do not refund my money, I will escalate this issue to the appropriate authorities. I am a journalist and have connections that may help resolve this matter. Liz Langton Way (Lynda)

I'd like to inform you that my email address is [redacted] I received an email today at this address despite cancelling my account with your company in the springtime. I obtained a refund because of the numerous scammers on your site. To my surprise, I received an email stating that my account was charged over $29 today and will be billed again in October. I am deeply concerned about my compromised information. Please, reach out to me. If I do not hear back soon, I will contact the Attorney General in Texas and take legal action against your company. I am a business owner with legal resources, and I am prepared to pursue legal action for exposing my personal information. The negative reviews online about your service have me very skeptical.
