I reside at 32 Northdale Road in White Plains, NY. Approximately two weeks ago, a crew from your company initiated the installation of a temporary cable line between several above-ground junction boxes across the street from my residence. The line is currently above ground. The workers explained that the purpose of this project is to improve service for a neighboring house at 44 Northdale Road on the same side of the street. Since the commencement of this cable line replacement/upgrade, my internet service, which previously was issue-free with no internal problems with my modem or computer, has been unreliable, frequently dropping out. It is my understanding that the new line will eventually be placed underground on the opposite side of the street, but I am unsure if this will necessitate digging up the street or residents' lawns. I am unaware of the workers' return schedule to complete the task. As I have recently started a new job with remote work, these consistent internet disruptions are causing significant challenges. Urgent assistance is required. I am a dedicated customer in need of prompt resolution.

While I'm away, my sister is keeping an eye on my mail. She took a photo of a letter from Optimum stating they returned one of my payments. The letter includes my account number. However, every contact method with Optimum requires a four-digit code I don't have. I attempted to reach out via chat, automated billing, and the computer, but without the code, I couldn't proceed. I'm concerned about additional charges, so I need to sort this out promptly.

I am inquiring about the reconnection of my internet today as was scheduled by the local store. I have moved from [redacted] Hickory Hills RD, Kinston NC [redacted], back to [redacted] Water Chestnut Dr, Kinston NC [redacted]. I am hoping to receive an update on the timeline for reconnection. Additionally, I would like the moving fee to be waived considering my long-standing loyalty with your company. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to consider switching providers and escalating the issue with regulatory authorities and corporate management.

I have been submitting payments to Optimum using various checking accounts, but all the payments have bounced. The billing department advised me to bring my bank statements to the office for assistance. I mistakenly went to a retail store thinking it was the office. The staff there were unhelpful and could not assist me as my balance kept changing. Despite making payments and providing proof, my bill increased from $[redacted] to $1,[redacted] due to bounced payments. I have paid over $[redacted] in the last 2 months, yet my balance is now $1,[redacted], and no one can explain the sudden increase. The staff failed to clarify the reasons for the rise in the bill, and the fluctuating amount is concerning. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and the company's inability to address billing issues promptly. I am considering discontinuing services due to these ongoing problems.
