I recently purchased flights through Opodo and realized that I made a mistake with my email address, so I didn't receive the booking confirmation. I've attempted to contact Opodo by phone, but the automated system requires the booking reference number, which I don't have. I also tried emailing the incorrect address with no success. Even the Opodo app is inaccessible without the booking reference number. I urgently need assistance from Opodo to rectify this issue but have been unable to reach anyone. I'm unsure of what steps to take next.

My booking reference is [redacted], and I reserved a weekend trip for two in Naples starting on Friday, March 18th. After being told that I would receive our flight confirmation within 24 hours via email on Friday, I have yet to receive it. When I called customer service, I was informed that our booking reference is invalid. Dear Customer Service, I am writing to share my recent experience with Opodo's services. Today, I followed the instructions provided in the confirmation email and on the Opodo app to check in at the airport desk, as online check-in was unavailable on Ryanair's website the day before. Although my booking status was confirmed, I decided to address any issues at the airport in the morning. At 11 pm, I contacted the airport in Hungary to double-check everything. The agent reassured me that I could check in without an extra fee in the morning. Arriving at the airport at 4:30 am, I encountered an unexpected situation. The staff couldn't find a record of my payment, although the booking was visible. They advised me to contact Opodo immediately. Upon calling, a representative informed me that Ryanair had canceled the reservation. However, the app still showed the status as confirmed. I didn't receive any notifications about the cancellation from either company. Despite Ryanair's inability to assist, I was left unable to board the flight and faced an exorbitant ticket cost as an alternative. This ordeal has resulted in missed work days, additional expenses for PCR tests, travel costs to the airport, and disrupted plans in Spain. I request compensation for the time and money wasted. My return flight for two with confirmation number SCL3GI involves departing from Warsaw, Poland, with a stop in Istanbul, Turkey, on the way to San Francisco, CA, and a return trip with a layover in Istanbul, Turkey, as well. Due to the current pandemic situation causing unresolved issues, we are seeking an early return. I utilized Opodo or eDreams to secure a more economical flight; however, they deducted an excess amount from my bank account without providing a confirmed booking. I am seeking a refund of my money. **UPDATE** I received my refund today, the 24th, ten days after the initial problem on the 14th of March. The refund was unexpected as there was no direct communication from Opodo. I am unsure whom to acknowledge for this, but I am inclined to thank GetHuman services and the individuals who offered advice and support on this platform.

Hi, I recently made a booking (reference above) for flights from Newcastle to Faro from 3rd May to 8th May. However, I did not receive confirmation for the outgoing flight with Jet2. After contacting them, I was informed that we are not booked on this flight. Two payments were taken, one for [redacted].79 and another for [redacted].00. I assume one payment is for the return flight with Ryanair, for which I have received a confirmation email, and the other must be for Jet2. Despite contacting the team through the app, I have not received a satisfactory resolution and have been informed that the Jet2 flights are not confirmed. This has led us to purchase separate flights to Faro. It's frustrating that the app allowed us to pick seats, yet the flights are not confirmed. I am disappointed with the lack of service and the inability to reach a resolution. Your prompt response is appreciated. Best regards

I have attempted to email Dana Dunne regarding my flight refund issue without success. On January 31, [redacted], I booked a return flight to Thailand through Opodo with Thai Airways, including cancellation insurance. Unfortunately, my flight was canceled in May [redacted], and despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to secure a refund. Numerous communication efforts with the airline and others have not yielded results. The status of my refund remains pending, and I am frustrated with the lack of progress after almost a year. Dear Customer Service, I recently booked a stay at Park Plaza London Riverbank through Opodo for four nights with reservation reference [redacted] from May 3, [redacted], to May 7, [redacted]. Due to a scheduling conflict, I am hoping to change the dates of my reservation without incurring any fees. I would like to amend the booking to four nights from Saturday, April 30, [redacted], to Wednesday, May 3, [redacted]. Hello, I recently traveled from Marseille to Raleigh with flexible travel dates. I need to return to France earlier than planned due to exams. When trying to modify my tickets online, I encountered a message saying they are not modifiable and to contact customer service. I then chatted with customer service and was informed that the airline (United Airlines) controls my tickets with 2 stopovers due to being a student. I am unsure about the process as usually, you can modify tickets online. Opodo mentioned they would contact the airline to arrange another return trip but didn't provide details. I recently noticed £59.99 debited from my account to Opodo Prime on 25 March [redacted]. I am unsure of the reason for this transaction and have contacted my bank. They mentioned an arrangement made in February [redacted], which I have no memory of agreeing to. I am seeking clarification on this charge and a possible refund. I was very satisfied with the timing and dates, and I paid for everything immediately. However, I later received information that the airline not only changed the time but also the day. I cannot accept this as I have already booked and paid for the hotel and airport transfer for 11.04.22, and now I am forced to pay for an extra night in Singapore. On March 30th, I visited Opodo's website to book a flight and paid around £60. After selecting the flight, luggage options, and a seat, I entered my credit card details, and although payment was confirmed, the page suddenly disappeared. I never received an email confirmation from Opodo. Days later, I had to book another flight through EDreams, only to discover they had reserved me a flight to a completely different destination. After a frustrating ordeal with customer service, I was informed that the payment made to Opodo was for a Prime membership, not a flight booking. Opodo seems to lack transparency and proper customer support as I struggle to get my money back without a flight booking number. Their limited contact options and lack of responsiveness are concerning. I plan to escalate this issue to Trading Standards and The Ombudsman given the inconvenience and financial loss I have faced due to Opodo's misleading practices during a time-sensitive travel preparation.

Dear Sir or Madam, I have just spoken with Singapore Airlines in Frankfurt. According to the lady I spoke with, there seems to have been an error by Opodo. They have sold us a flawed trip with booking reference #[redacted]. We have evidence in the form of screenshots and documents from you confirming this mistake. We intended to travel from Singapore to Davao on April 28 at 12:35, which is exactly what we ordered. However, your company has unilaterally rebooked the flight for April 29 from Singapore to Davao, resulting in us, two individuals nearing 60 years of age, having to endure over 30 hours in transit. I have health issues (heart condition). Despite discussions with your hotline, we were informed that a change is possible but would require an additional payment of [redacted] euros. Your airfare is notably higher compared to your competitors. I have notified our legal counsel and provided all relevant documents. I am hopeful for an amicable resolution. Should that not be possible, we will have to pursue a claim for damages against your company. We are counting on your understanding. The mistake lies with your end, and based on Singapore Airlines' policy, switching the flights to April 29 shouldn't pose a problem. I've been trying since early morning to book flights from Liverpool to Rome for April 7th to 11th. Every time I enter my details and try to add a card, it doesn't proceed beyond prompting me to call a customer service number for payment. I couldn't call earlier as I had no credit. After reattempting with credit, it took my details but then increased the price by £40 to £[redacted], although originally it was £64 plus £13.50 for baggage and seat selection. Now it's around £81 plus £15.50, and I still haven't secured seats. The site mentioned increased demand, possibly due to my repeated unsuccessful booking attempts. I also noticed the option to indicate a Prime account, which I only associated with the flights I tried to book. I need seats for 3 children and 2 adults. Hello, I'm sharing my recent travel experience with you. Sascha Hohn arranged our flights from Hamburg to Ibiza through Barcelona on the 14th of March [redacted], and from Ibiza back to Hamburg via Madrid on the 22nd of March [redacted]. Our confirmation number is BGMNTD. We selected an "extra bag in cabin" option for the Hamburg to Ibiza flight, but upon reaching Barcelona, we were informed that the bag couldn't be brought into the cabin and had to be checked in instead. We were charged a fee for this unexpected change. Despite our objections, the ground staff advised us to take up the matter with Ryanair in Ibiza. The staff in Ibiza redirected us to contact Opodo for further assistance. The issue arose because the information regarding the extra bag wasn't clearly stated on my ticket, resulting in double payment – once during the online booking and again in Barcelona. Opodo arranged my travel from Edinburgh to Johannesburg through London and Ethiopia. The layover was initially 1 hour and 50 minutes. Regrettably, the British Airways flight was delayed and landed around 15 minutes past the scheduled time due to parking issues. Consequently, I missed the connection despite rushing between terminals 2 and 5. The Ethiopian Airlines staff mentioned the ideal connection time is 90 minutes and the delay impacted this. I was inconvenienced as BA only checked me in for the first leg, making it necessary to check in again. Additionally, Ethiopian Airlines closed their counter earlier than their website indicated. To reach my destination, I had to purchase a last-minute costly one-way ticket with Virgin Atlantic, departing one hour after the Ethiopian flight. I am seeking a refund for the unexpected expenses incurred due to these circumstances.

I booked a flight through Opodo from Exeter to Glasgow. The flight from Glasgow on the 9th of April was delayed, which was Loganair's fault. However, the return flight to Glasgow on the 16th of April was problematic. The woman at the Exeter Airport desk informed me that there was no flight by Loganair, with booking reference 0ZT7S6. I was disappointed as I had paid a significant amount for both flights. Consequently, my husband had to drive me to catch a train the next day, incurring additional costs for another night in a hotel and a train ticket to Glasgow. I am requesting a reimbursement for all the expenses incurred due to the incorrect information provided by your site.
