I am SSgt John W Harris, a United States Marine E6, and I am having trouble reaching OK Cupid. I have tried to contact them without success, and I am considering reaching out to the Better Business Bureau to report this issue. Since there is no phone number available, I will be contacting my bank to cancel my account with OK Cupid if the customer service matter is not resolved within 3 days (72 hrs). I am formally notifying OK Cupid that I will dispute any charges and report the situation to my local consumer protection agency, ABC 6.

My account got suspended without any warning. I had no photos or text on my profile that could have violated the rules. I also hadn't contacted anyone yet. Can you please let me know why my account was suspended and how can I get it back? It would be more helpful if I was informed of any issues with my profile before being suspended so I could address them.

I am dealing with a troubling situation involving my ex-boyfriend who is stalking me both in person and online. He has created a fake account on OKCupid for a nonexistent twin of mine. Using my photos, he is providing personal information to any men who contact the profile, including my phone number and address. On June 8, [redacted], I, Bobby Butler, tried to register for OkCupid. I entered my debit card details and clicked purchase, but encountered an error message. Is there no way to send a second message or retract the first one sent by mistake? I had a 97% match with what seemed like a wonderful woman. I am new to this and spent a couple of hours typing my initial text in a word processor. When I pasted it in the text box and hit send, nothing happened. Thinking it was too long, I deleted it and, frustrated and not thinking, sent a stupid text with just the word "Hello" to test if it would go through. Hello, I didn't encounter a problem personally, but I need help regarding a conversation I had with Sara (possibly Sarah, as I struggle with names initially). We spoke last night, but I woke up to find our conversation missing with a notification declaring her account was deleted. Considering our interaction, I highly doubt she deactivated her account voluntarily. It seems plausible that a bot flagged her profile (since it was not detailed) and mistakenly removed her account. It has been challenging to access the messages I've received over the last few months. Despite being quite tech-savvy and using various other dating sites without any issues, Double-Take seems to have a recurring problem in this area. I suspect this issue might have been caused by software or management decisions made a while back to push users to sign up for the A-list for message access. It's frustrating that this model seems to prioritize monetization over user experience. Transparency about this would make it more acceptable, but sadly, that's not the case. This ongoing problem with accessing messages on OKcupid could be an interesting article to share with journalists, shedding light on these practices.
