There are campers and what appears to be furniture items on my account that I did not add. An OfferUp support representative named Carlos logged out all users from my account and instructed me to reset my password, but now I am unable to do so because my email address ([redacted]) is not being recognized. When I try to edit any item in my account, I receive an error code G0X01VX8. Additionally, I am a TruYou member, and it was difficult to get it to accept a picture of my driver's license. Given the frustration I have experienced using this app, I am considering closing my account unless these issues are resolved promptly. If not, please delete my account. This is my third and final attempt to seek a resolution after contacting Carlos via email twice before.

I recently sold an item to a customer in another state through OfferUp's prepaid mailing service. Regrettably, I sent the item later than expected, on the last day of the extension provided by OfferUp. Despite this, OfferUp decided to refund the customer's money after I had already sent out the item. Now, I am left wondering who will compensate me for this situation. The item is now in the possession of a customer who initially paid for it, but later received a refund and also received my merchandise. I would appreciate it if someone could investigate and assist me with this matter. Thank you.

I recently purchased an iPhone XS Max from a seller named Rachel Smith on OfferUp. I used Zelle for the payment. The item was shipped via overnight shipping from Bloomingdale, Georgia. Just as I was going to ask for the tracking number, the listing was deactivated. I am unable to reach Rachel and I paid $[redacted] for the item. I hope OfferUp can help me get in touch with her or assist with this issue. I have been waiting for a week and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

My Offerup account was unexpectedly deleted with no prior warning. I had over [redacted] listings and have not received a clear explanation for this action. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have yet to receive a response from their support team. This has caused me to lose money, regular customers, and appointments without any justified reason provided. I have thoroughly reviewed the terms & conditions and cannot identify any violations on my end. This incident has damaged my reputation as a reliable seller. I am seeking reinstatement of my account and listings along with a valid explanation for the account removal.

My account was unexpectedly deactivated last week, which is my only source of income right now. As a single mom with a one-year-old, I rely on it to get Christmas presents. After trying to create another account due to lack of response, it too got deactivated. Despite this, I managed to make a $67 purchase on my original account yesterday before it was deactivated again. The seller confirmed not receiving payment, despite it being deducted from my account. Now I see numerous $1 charges, which I didn't authorize. Some have been reduced to 10 cents. I'm confused by this. I need the items I paid for and request my account be reactivated. I suspect this issue might be related to my boyfriend's canceled credit card, which I used for some purchases. I have emailed multiple times over two days with no response. If this isn't addressed, I will escalate the matter to the better business bureau. It's frustrating that my emails have gone unanswered while the seller received a prompt reply.

This was my first time ordering something online, and now I'm feeling anxious about it. The item I purchased was shipped promptly after taking my payment, but upon receiving it, I discovered it was broken. It seems like a case of false advertising, and I'm frustrated and upset. Now, I want a full refund for this defective item. I am hesitant to shop online again without carefully examining products myself. My transaction number is [redacted]. I have already contacted Offer Up, but they have not responded. I am eagerly awaiting my refund.

Hello, I am reaching out because I am unable to receive a response from support. I have been an Offerup member for nearly 2 years. Two weeks ago, I noticed that although I can input and post items, they are not visible to others. After several texts, I received a message stating that my account is being terminated due to Offerup policies without any specific details. I have always adhered to the platform's guidelines, and my buyers have had positive experiences with Offerup's mailing system. I am puzzled by this sudden action as I have not been issued any warnings and believe my listings comply with the rules. Could this possibly be a misunderstanding meant for another account? As an active member of the Offerup community, I am disheartened by this situation. I kindly request either the reinstatement of my account or a clear explanation of any violations so I can rectify them accordingly. Thank you for your time and consideration. Merry Christmas!

Hello, I shipped a Lenovo ThinkPad T440 series i7 laptop to a buyer named Keith around 2 months ago. Initially, the payment process through OfferUp stated it could take up to 10 business days after shipment. However, upon receiving the laptop, Keith expressed dissatisfaction because it did not include a charger. He mentioned wanting to return it for a refund or reporting the issue. I accurately listed the laptop's contents, but Keith's actions have left me with neither payment nor the laptop back. OfferUp indicates that I cancelled the transaction, which is not the case. Can anyone assist me in resolving this situation? Thank you.

I purchased a [redacted] psi pressure washer for $[redacted], advertised as being used only 1 or 2 times. Unfortunately, upon inspection, I discovered that some parts had been switched, making it unsafe to operate as the cord snapped back dangerously. The seller promised to find the missing parts but has since blocked my calls. I am seeking a refund for this misleading transaction and would like OfferUp to assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with OFFER-UP for 7 days now, but I am not making any progress via messaging their support team. My problem began when I purchased a handbag from a seller on 11/30/18. The seller claimed it was [redacted]% authentic and new. However, upon receiving it on 12/6/18, I realized it was not authentic. I contacted the seller and after some discussion, he agreed to refund me. I was supposed to send the handbag back after receiving the refund within 3 days. It is now 12/10/18, beyond the promised refund date of 12/12/18, and the seller is no longer responding to my messages. The transaction number is [redacted], and the sale amount was $[redacted].14.
I believe that despite the 2-day refund policy, OFFER-UP should assist me due to the item being counterfeit, which is not my fault but due to their oversight in allowing fake products on their platform.
Regards,
Kathy M.

I recently sold a pair of goggles on OfferUp, but the buyer reported receiving them with a scratched lens, likely due to shipping. OfferUp canceled the money transfer to me and relisted the item. I adjusted the price to reflect the scratch, hoping to have the goggles returned. However, it's been weeks with no updates or the goggles returned, and I can't proceed with a new sale.
It seems like a case of my goggles being "stolen" by OfferUp. Despite reaching out multiple times to customer support, I have not received any response. Can someone please assist me with this situation? I strongly feel I have been treated unfairly and would appreciate any help.

I am new to OfferUp and unsure why I have been banned. Every buyer personally inspected the items at my home, all in excellent condition and not electrical. I admitted to struggling with deleting unsold items to repost in different groupings, but always ended up selling most items. My buyers were satisfied, knowing my location if any issues arose. As a realtor for 30 years, I value honesty. I am perplexed by the ban as I have never been banned from any platform before. I hope to understand and resolve this issue. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Shir-Lee

I have encountered an unusual issue with my selling activities on this platform recently. Initially, things were going smoothly as I sold items sporadically to declutter my garage and earn some extra money. However, a problem arose when I decided to utilize the pay option to promote and feature certain items for quicker sales.
Shortly after utilizing these features, I noticed that all my listed items appeared greyed out and were no longer searchable on the platform. In an attempt to troubleshoot, I logged out and back in, only to encounter error codes preventing me from accessing my account. This left me unable to reach out to customer support within the app due to my unfamiliarity with its workings.
Subsequently, I tried creating a new account using a different email and linking it to my Facebook account, hoping to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this action led to a complete ban on both my original and new accounts, impeding my ability to seek assistance and resolve the misunderstanding or technical glitch that had occurred.
Despite submitting multiple support tickets explaining the situation as a misunderstanding or technical error, I have received responses stating that I breached the platform's rules and subsequently had my accounts removed. I am at a loss for how to proceed and would appreciate any help or guidance in resolving this matter.

Hello, my name is Boubacar. Recently, I contacted someone via email and text through OfferUp regarding a car sale. They mentioned they were leaving the country with their military team and insisted on using eBay for the transaction. I paid a 3rd party through eBay $[redacted] but never received the car and have been unable to reach them since. Both the seller and the fake eBay 3rd party have blocked their numbers. I am struggling to get my money back and believe I was scammed through OfferUp. I am reaching out to the OfferUp team to assist me in recovering my funds and request a contact number for further assistance.

A buyer purchased an item from me, but the mailing label they provided was invalid, leading me to pay an extra $30 for shipping. Despite charging $[redacted] for the item, after OfferUp took $25 and the cost of the new label, I ended up out of pocket. The buyer promised to repay but was unable to get a refund. I promptly bought a new label and informed OfferUp and the buyer of the new tracking number, which they acknowledged. However, OfferUp failed to rectify the issue on their end. The item was delivered to the buyer on December 10, [redacted], but OfferUp hasn't released my payment or responded to my inquiries about it. I expect my payment to be processed immediately. The order number from OfferUp is [redacted]. I have invested significant time and effort in resolving this matter, and it should be swiftly corrected. I insist on receiving the payment owed to me without further delay.

I sent my item to Oklahoma on time. Both the buyer and I were pleased with the transaction. The buyer has the shipping receipt, but OfferUp retracted the payment, claiming the deal was canceled. This must be resolved promptly. $[redacted] should be added back to my account as I rely on fast cash. Neither the buyer nor I canceled our agreement, and I followed OfferUp's guidelines. Despite receiving other local offers for the item, I honored our agreement. Please rectify this issue without delay. Feel free to contact the buyer for verification. I value OfferUp but cannot accept losing money because of this error.

Hello, my OfferUp screen name is nacnud.
I need assistance regarding two buyer protection claims I have submitted. The first purchase (#[redacted]) was for a counterfeit item, but the funds were released to the seller despite my claim. The second item (#[redacted]), bought today, was not new as described; the seller mentioned in our conversation that the camera is "semi new." I am requesting not to release funds to this seller and want them to cover the return shipping costs for their falsely advertised items. I believe I should not have to bear the cost of returns due to their deceptive practices. Thank you for your help in resolving these issues promptly.

My husband bought a Michael Kors purse, wallet, and change purse through your app, believing they were authentic leather as advertised. However, upon receiving them, it was apparent that they were not genuine Michael Kors items nor made of leather. We promptly filed a claim with your customer service but have not received any return instructions after a week. Despite following the guidelines for unsatisfactory merchandise and alerting you in a timely manner, we are still waiting for directions on how to return the products for a refund. Ruth from your team referred our claim to another department, and despite sending multiple emails seeking guidance, we are yet to receive clear instructions. We kindly request immediate assistance in resolving this issue of misrepresented purchases.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S9 from a seller on OfferUp. The phone I received is still linked to the seller's Google account, requiring their Gmail and password. Despite reaching out multiple times via messages and calls, the seller has not been helpful and repeatedly asks the same questions. I've also tried contacting OfferUp without success, as their "contact us" page rejects my complaint ID. At this point, the seller is avoiding responsibility and OfferUp has not been able to resolve the issue. Any guidance on how to proceed would be appreciated. Thank you, Jhovanny Camacho
