A man named Mike, who later identified himself as Andrew LOTT, agreed to purchase the rug I was selling for $[redacted]. He sent me a check for $[redacted], claiming that $[redacted] should be paid to the movers once the money is received. He is requesting $[redacted] in cash, but has not provided me with the movers' name or address, only a name. When I questioned why I couldn't pay the movers directly or have their details, he avoided my inquiries, communicating via different phone numbers and email addresses. He insists on the cash payment or transferring funds to an account. I am hesitant as the moving cost seems excessive, especially for a local move costing more than the rug itself. Please verify this individual before proceeding. My name is Nahid.

I sent a package to the buyer with the name Karen Morley. I had to use the United States Postal Service and a new tracking number because I couldn't access the one you provided. Despite my efforts, she refuses to refund my money for the doll. I am considering legal action against her and your company. She must return the doll or refund me, or you should do the same. I have tried contacting you via texts and emails with the tracking number multiple times. My lawyer is advising me on this matter, and we are prepared to take action. Please respond within three days or face legal consequences. My phone number is [redacted] and my email is [redacted].

OfferUp blocks VPN connections, which can be frustrating for users like myself who prioritize online privacy and security. When trying to access OfferUp with NordVPN, an error message stating that the IP address is banned from the website due to the use of a VPN is displayed. Disconnecting the VPN allows access to the site, but it's disappointing that OfferUp doesn't support VPN usage.
It's important for websites to respect users' privacy choices, and blocking VPNs can be seen as intrusive. Users should have the freedom to protect their online activities without restrictions. I encourage others to consider this limitation when using OfferUp and potentially boycott the platform until VPN connections are allowed.
Despite arguments about security measures, it's crucial for websites to find a balance between protection and respecting users' privacy preferences. OfferUp should address this issue to improve user experience and support online privacy rights.

I am having trouble accessing my account. I was in the process of purchasing an item on OfferUp when they informed me that they cancelled my offer to the seller. After that, my account was logged out and now I cannot sign back in. I believe my account may have been reported due to a disagreement with another user on the platform. I have followed all the rules and am unsure why this has happened. I would appreciate any assistance.

I am seeking assistance with an ongoing payment issue for a sale. Despite the product being shipped, received, and paid for weeks ago, I am still awaiting payment from your company. I have reached out for support over 15 times without any resolution. A reputable company typically prioritizes customer care and prompt issue resolution, yet this has not been the case with OfferUp. I remain disappointed by the lack of customer service provided.
I am willing to provide my email address, as well as the transaction details, once more in hopes of receiving the payment owed. This situation has consumed countless hours, and it is frustrating to see the transaction now missing from the app. This level of service is unacceptable. Thank you.

My account was deactivated, and I've been unable to reactivate it. Consequently, I've created a new account with a different phone number. However, there is still money in my old account from selling a Samsung Galaxy smartwatch for $[redacted]. The email linked to the old account is [redacted], and the phone number is [redacted]. The new account I made is [redacted], with the phone number [redacted]. Please assist in transferring the funds to my new account as the buyer has already paid for the item. I have not received any response despite numerous emails sent. Kindly rectify this issue promptly. Thank you.

A few days ago, I received a message asking if I had tried to log in from Chesapeake, Virginia. I replied no, but since then, OfferUp has been showing me "access denied" for the last three days. After some research, it seems my IP address might have been banned. I haven't violated any rules and have actually contributed a lot to the platform. It's frustrating not knowing why I've been banned. Additionally, OfferUp canceled two of my orders without explanation, even though the buyers received their packages. This has resulted in a loss of $[redacted] worth of merchandise, which is a significant amount for me as a single mother of three. I hope to resolve this issue soon.

I listed my Coast flashlight on OfferUp for $50. After receiving an offer for shipping the item, I agreed. Due to a delay, I was given a two-day extension to ship the flashlight, which I did along with providing a tracking number. However, midway through the shipping process, OfferUp canceled the transaction, refunded the money, and advised me not to ship the item. Despite numerous emails to OfferUp seeking assistance, they suggested I contact the buyer for payment. I have been trying to reach out to the buyer for four days without any response. I am now left without my flashlight or payment. I am seeking help in resolving this situation.

I recently sold Gucci sunglasses for $[redacted] and used the shipping label provided by OfferUp to send them promptly. The buyer had moved and needed the sunglasses delivered to a new address, but I couldn't update the address on the label before sending it out. I believe this situation is unfair to both parties, as I wanted to maintain my reputation as a fast seller. I am seeking a resolution that benefits us both, possibly through refunds. I have screenshots to support my case if needed. I hope we can find a fair solution to this issue as I am quite anxious about it.

Hello Support,
I recently purchased a GoPro camera from a seller, but unfortunately, it was not functioning correctly. Despite my attempts to troubleshoot the issue as requested by the seller, the problem persisted. I informed the seller of the situation and suggested either a full refund or a partial refund with me keeping the camera.
As the response time dragged on, I began to worry about the outcome. Eventually, I decided to cut my losses and reached out with a final message to the seller. Much to my surprise, the seller responded and agreed to provide a refund. In a generous gesture, the seller even offered to refund me in full while allowing me to keep the camera, though I declined this offer.
The seller explained that delays in communication were due to oversleeping, which I found understandable.

I signed up for a 3-day free trial of promotions through OfferUp, where they promoted one of my sale items. It wasn't clear that after the trial they would charge me $19.99 plus tax. OfferUp charged my Verizon account which I didn't know they could do. I contacted Verizon within 20 minutes, and they said they would handle it, so I didn't reach out to OfferUp. I couldn't find OfferUp's customer support contact information. Now, Verizon won't cancel the charge, and I want OfferUp to cancel it. Thank you.

Last night, I chatted with 12 different people about purchasing a Swatch watch for my sister-in-law who recently graduated as a teacher. During the conversation, a man named Jose offered to sell me his Olympic watch for $30, although he originally wanted $45. Unfortunately, due to a screen mishap, I accidentally ended up purchasing it at the full price without intending to. I hope Jose understands the misunderstanding and can refund me the difference. Please reach out to me through phone at [redacted] or email at [redacted] at your earliest convenience.

I posted a furniture item for sale at $[redacted] on OfferUp. The buyer initially messaged me on OfferUp expressing interest in purchasing. Later, they asked me to email pictures to [redacted] The buyer seemed eager to buy the item, so I followed through with the transaction. They sent me a cashier's check for $1,[redacted], explaining $[redacted] was for a mover's fee, and I should pay the mover upon pickup. After depositing the check, the buyer urged me to send $[redacted] advance payment to a supposed mover named Kimberly Nicole Corbin via email at [redacted] using Zelle. Two days later, my bank informed me the cashier's check was counterfeit. I lost $[redacted] in this scam. The buyer's contact numbers, [redacted] and [redacted], were unresponsive when I tried calling. I hope to resolve this issue by recovering my $[redacted] and prevent other sellers from falling victim to similar scams.

I have been a victim of a scam. I purchased a product from a user named Gary from Gloucester, MA, and paid $[redacted], but he deactivated his account afterward. Instead of receiving the 11 FreeStyle Lite [redacted] Count Diabetic Test Strips as listed, I received baseball cards in a box. I am unable to log into my account to file a claim. I demand a refund for this fraudulent transaction. I have evidence of what I received, including pictures, and proof of his deactivated account and shipping address. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with sending messages and posting new items on OfferUp. Unfortunately, I do not have access to Twitter or Facebook to contact OfferUp support that way. I suspect that my recent account activity, such as posting multiple items in a short period and messaging several sellers quickly while looking for an iPhone X or XS, may have caused a problem with my account. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly as I intend to purchase a phone this weekend and sell my items as soon as possible. How can we address this situation to ensure I can continue using the platform effectively?

I am extremely frustrated. I am currently chatting with a representative regarding an item I shipped using the label emailed to me by OfferUp. Despite the buyer receiving the item, OfferUp cancelled the transaction after I had already shipped the item. I provided the representative with images showing both the buyer received the item and that I used the label OfferUp provided. However, the representative disregarded this evidence and accused me of using a different label which is not the case. I am a regular OfferUp user and consistently use the labels they provide. I have made every effort to demonstrate that this is an error on OfferUp's part and to resolve it so I can receive payment, but I have not received the necessary assistance. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, OfferUp continues to claim I used a different label incorrectly. I am seeking a resolution today and prompt payment. Due to the inadequate customer service in addressing this issue, I will refrain from using the shipping option in the future.

Subject: Payment Issue on OfferUp Account
I am writing to address an issue with my OfferUp account, linked to my email [redacted] Recently, I received a notification from the OfferUp team stating that my payment of $[redacted] was canceled. I am unsure of the reason behind this cancellation, as I had sufficient funds in my bank account both when I initiated the payment and now.
I have already contacted my bank, and they have confirmed that the payment was successfully processed from their end, with the funds currently on hold. I am perplexed as to why OfferUp decided to cancel my payment after reviewing my offer, especially when I have followed all the necessary steps correctly.
Furthermore, I am disappointed by the lack of a proper customer service number provided by OfferUp for users like me to address such issues directly. It is disconcerting to encounter this obstacle when dealing with payments and sensitive financial information on the platform.
I kindly request a prompt response to this email to resolve this matter at the earliest convenience.
Thank you,

Yesterday, I inquired about my issue with messaging and posting. Today, after activating TruYou, I could send messages and post items, but encountered a freeze on the last posting page. To my dismay, none of my items show up in searches. Furthermore, I suspect my messages are not being delivered as I haven't received any replies, even from prior contacts. I would appreciate assistance with this matter.

I recently made a purchase of Apple AirPods 2nd Generation for $80 from a seller named Ahmed two days ago. After contacting him and being assured that he would ship the item and provide a tracking number, I paid him upfront. However, after waiting for two hours without any updates, I noticed that Ahmed had deleted our chat on OfferUp and no refund was issued. I still have the messages in my email and am willing to share them for further assistance. This unfortunate experience has made me hesitant to use OfferUp for shipping in the future.

I've tried to list items, but I keep getting no views. I attempted to view my posted items from a friend's account, and they are not visible. This is my second account because my first one stopped working, and I don't understand why. The email associated with my original account is [redacted] I would appreciate having my original account reinstated. This is the second time I have reached out to customer support, and last time I did not receive a response.
