I recently discovered that my stolen pony carriage was posted in the electronics section by someone initially using the name "John" from North Highlands, CA, and now goes by "Alex" from El Dorado, CA. This individual has a criminal record according to the Sacramento County Sheriff. After my horse trailer, containing the carriage, was stolen, a kind user who saw the post on the forum reached out to my son via Facebook, leading us to involve the authorities. The trailer was found at the last known residence of this person in North Highlands, however, he failed to show up for a scheduled meeting with the authorities. I am seeking information on anyone else who may have contacted him regarding the carriage, in case he sold it. The cart was specially made for my pony and I had been looking forward to getting it for years. I greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. The sheriff report number that was filed is 19-[redacted]. Thank you for your help. - Maureen F.

I am experiencing an issue with the Nova application on OfferUp where suddenly the notifications are not working. I have two phones, and both are functioning properly, so I believe the problem lies with the application or the site itself. I am unsure of what I may be doing incorrectly that is causing the notifications to stop. I would appreciate it if you could provide guidance on how to resolve this issue. As someone with visual and hearing impairments, this sudden problem has been challenging. If possible, please reach out to me with a solution. Thank you.

I purchased a weedeater listed as being in excellent condition. However, upon bringing it home, I discovered that it would not stay running for more than a few seconds. Even after adding gas mixed with an oil stabilizer, as instructed, it still fails to work. I'm disappointed because I believe in good faith that items marked as excellent should be in working order. I spent $50 on this equipment that seems to be broken and requires additional expenses to fix. The leaf blower I bought claimed to be ready for use but had no gas and stopped functioning after a few seconds. This is frustrating, as I had similar issues with a lawn mower I bought under the claim of "wonderful working condition." I had to spend extra money to repair it immediately. I hope to receive a refund for these misrepresented items, or else I may reconsider using OfferUp in the future.

I sold a chef set that included 4 plates, 4 cups, a salt & pepper shaker, and a utensil holder to Bobbilynn F. She claimed everything arrived broken after I shipped it safely. She initiated a claim and sent back the broken items. Upon receiving the package, it seems like the items were deliberately broken, except for the utensil holder. Unfortunately, the salt and pepper shaker were missing, and she has not compensated me for any of it. This has left me feeling taken advantage of and unsure of what to do next. It's unfair and I believe she should at least return the missing items she kept. My track record as a seller speaks for itself.

I am experiencing difficulty in communicating through the app. There are several individuals I was chatting with this morning, and now I am unable to reach them due to Error Code: R37KPRMM. According to online sources, this error pertains to copying and pasting messages, which I did because I forgot the specific car I was inquiring about. I would like this error rectified promptly so I can reconnect with the sellers. I apologize if my actions seemed impolite. It is crucial to me that this matter is resolved today. Thank you for your assistance, and I hope you have a pleasant day! I utilized copy and paste to save time, as mentioned in my earlier complaint.

I believe OfferUp should expand its categories beyond just arts and crafts. Subcategories like oil paintings, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, fine art, southwest, Indian art, portraits, animals, abstract, and impressionistic would be helpful. It would be beneficial to separate art from crafts to improve search accuracy. Moreover, a specific section for weddings would be advantageous. When trying to find my two paintings, I had to search through various criteria before locating them. Enhancing categories like clothing with dresses, shoes, boots, and bags would streamline the platform for sellers. Increasing categories would enhance the user experience for all. With the platform's growing popularity, the current categories are no longer sufficient, leading to repeated items and difficulty in finding one's own listings. Sellers are less likely to pay to boost sales if items are not easily visible. Thank you.

Upon receiving the package containing the item I purchased (Transaction ID # [redacted]), I immediately checked for any damage. Unfortunately, I noticed that the [redacted]-foot fish tape was broken, specifically with the tip snapped off. Prior to purchasing, I asked the seller via the Offer Up messaging system if there was any damage to the fish tape, including a broken tip. The seller assured me it was in "like new" condition. Due to the undisclosed damage, I am requesting either a $75.00 partial refund for repairs or a full refund of $[redacted].00 along with a pre-paid return label. Thank you.

I have been using OfferUp since [redacted] and have had numerous successful transactions. Despite my positive track record, I have experienced issues with OfferUp Support suspending my account without warning. This has caused inconveniences and misunderstandings with other users. Whenever I reach out to Support, they reactivate my account without providing an explanation or a warning not to repeat the alleged offense. Recently, my account was suspended again without notice. When I tried to contact Support, I faced technical difficulties and was eventually informed that my items were prohibited due to duplication, resulting in a permanent ban. I have tried to clarify this misunderstanding but have been met with silence. I am frustrated and seeking assistance to resolve this situation.

I sold three items in the past two days, starting on May 14th. After sending two items on May 14th with fast deposit, I expected to receive the payment within an hour, along with the 1% extra fee. However, the money hasn't shown up in my bank account yet. The status shows as "deposit pending" for all items, even though it says "deposit ready" in the fast deposit section. I'm frustrated as this has happened multiple times before. I am considering seeking legal help and potentially starting a class-action lawsuit for the lost fees. I may also report this issue to the Better Business Bureau and take action against OfferUp.

I was scammed by an individual named "John" in a recent incident involving the sale of my brown leather couch. Despite receiving a check from him for $[redacted], which he claimed included extra funds for movers, he cancelled the pickup on the scheduled day. After refunding the money on May 9th, the check bounced on May 14th, resulting in a loss of $[redacted] of my school funds. I have alerted my bank and local authorities, but I am seeking any possible assistance in tracking down the scammer's information. I have limited details including a phone number, possibly fake, and the address from where the check was mailed, Anixter Power Solutions at [redacted] Old Winter Garden Rd, Orlando FL [redacted]. My financial situation is strained, and I would appreciate any leads (such as real name, phone number, or IP address) that could aid in the investigation. Thank you for your support.

I was unfortunately a victim of a scam involving the sale of a brown leather couch. "John" sent me a counterfeit check for $[redacted], claiming the extra funds were for movers who never showed up. After refunding $[redacted] on May 9th, the check bounced on May 14th, leaving me in a difficult financial situation. My bank and local authorities have been informed, but I am still seeking any possible information to track down this scammer, such as real name, phone number, or IP address. The only leads I have are a potential phone number, [redacted], and the address the check was mailed from, Anixter Power Solutions at [redacted] Old Winter Garden Rd, Orlando, FL [redacted]. I believe this person has caused harm not only financially but emotionally. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have sent two messages without receiving a response regarding the tracking receipt number. I was supposed to ship a purse to someone, but the order got canceled after I shipped the purse a few hours late. The recipient has received the purse, but I have not been paid yet. The person is responsive, but I need to arrange payment. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you. Tracking receipt number: [redacted].

I purchased an Apple Watch Series 4 with the original box on May 14, [redacted], with Transaction #[redacted]. The seller has not shipped the item, and there is no tracking information available from USPS indicating the package is en route or delivered. Despite the seller's claim of sending it, there is no evidence of shipment. I messaged the seller yesterday morning to cancel the transaction as I no longer want the item due to undisclosed information about its unlock status. The seller previously failed to provide the IMEI number I requested to verify the watch's status. The seller now falsely insists that the information was sent, but our OfferUp messages prove otherwise. Although the seller alleges shipping the item, the USPS tracking number shows no activity. The seller accused me of being a scammer and threatened to report me to OfferUp, despite my clear intentions to ensure the watch met the promised specifications before shipment. I aim to cancel the purchase and receive a refund, involving my bank if necessary. For any inquiries, please email me at [redacted] Thank you.

I am encountering difficulties reaching out to sellers for inquiries or purchases. I keep receiving an error prompting me to verify my phone number. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to locate where I can input and validate my phone number. Whether I am using my iPhone or Mac Book Air, upon accessing my profile as suggested, there is no option available to enter my phone number. This situation is frustrating, especially as a tech-savvy individual. The absence of a phone number or live online support makes the situation even more exasperating. Users invest considerable time in utilizing your platform, and I have missed out on purchasing items due to this issue. Additionally, the suggestion to "RELOAD" the page has been ineffective.

I recently received a refund for an order that was $37.00, even though the item only cost $25.00. The order consisted of 13 Starbucks cups, with only one reported as broken. I haven't been provided with any evidence or pictures of the broken item. It seems unfair that the buyer gets to keep the remaining 12 cups for free. Additionally, the post office where the package was sent from offers $50 insurance, which the buyer can claim. I believe the full $37.00 should be refunded to me since there seems to be a discrepancy in this transaction. Please reach out to me via email at [redacted] or [redacted] for further discussion. The account associated with this issue is [redacted] Thank you.

Hello, I shipped a mixed lot of 7 jewelry items for $47 with tracking number [redacted][redacted][redacted] from my local post office in Riverside, CA. Today, I noticed that it showed as "delivered" at the same post office in Riverside, CA where I dropped it off initially. I spoke to the post office staff, and they explained that the supervisor scanned the item and sent it out, but the scanning was logged differently in their system. The post office employee assured me that the package is en route to the buyer in Aliso Viejo, CA, and the buyer should receive it tomorrow or Saturday. I have informed the buyer about the situation, and although the routing information is incorrect, they should still receive the package soon. Please contact me via email and halt any cancellation notices, as I want to ensure the buyer receives the item and I receive payment. Thank you, Julio V.

There have been some issues with a customer on OfferUp in the Corpus Christi area trying to sell a [redacted] black Nissan Accord supposedly located in Mississippi. The seller claims they moved due to a family death, communicating only via email through their daughter's email address. They are asking buyers to switch to the mother's email in Mississippi and are using the pretext of an Ebay Vehicle Protection warranty to request money upfront. I am concerned about the authenticity of this seller and whether they are legitimate. It is frustrating that there is no customer support to address such scams, unlike other platforms like OfferUp. I believe there should be consequences for companies that fail to protect their clients. I plan to raise this issue with my Congressman and state officials.

I have been experiencing issues with OfferUp for the past two weeks. Despite reaching out to their Customer Support through multiple channels including Twitter, I have not received any assistance. I believe my problem stems from being required to join TruYou, as I have observed that my messages are not going through to buyers, and I am unable to follow users as the app automatically unfollows them. These problems have persisted for months, and the app updates have not addressed them. I am eager to resolve these issues so that I can resume using OfferUp to sell, buy, and engage with the community. Your help in fixing my account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello OfferUp support team! I've been experiencing login issues with my OfferUp account for the past week or two. Every time I enter my password, it briefly logs me in and then immediately logs me out. Despite reaching out through multiple channels like OfferUp support and Twitter, I haven't received any assistance yet. I really need this app to work as I have six children depending on it. The email linked to my OfferUp account is [redacted] under the name Azarina, although my name is Tatiana. I've also noticed the same issue with my daughter's OfferUp account, linked to [redacted] I appreciate any help you can provide in resolving this matter. Thank you for your support.

We have had an account with your platform for a few years now. On Sunday, we found that we were unable to view the items we had for sale. Furthermore, we could not respond to messages from potential buyers. When attempting to access our public profile, an error message stating it did not exist appeared. Despite sending at least three emails today, we have not received any responses from OfferUp. Feeling neglected, we decided to create a new account, but now none of our posts are visible, and there are no views on our items. Despite repeated attempts to communicate with OfferUp, we have yet to receive a response. We are eager to continue using your platform for sales but need this issue resolved promptly. We are open to making any necessary changes to comply with guidelines but require immediate assistance.
