Hello, I need assistance as I was unexpectedly charged for a renewal subscription of Norton Antivirus [redacted] without prior notification. This charge came through via email after the transaction had already taken place. Given that my wife is currently unwell with the coronavirus, I have not been able to stay updated with my emails. I have just realized the charge and would like to request a refund as I no longer require the virus protection. Your help with issuing a refund would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jeff

Dear Sir or Madam,
I need to cancel the order my wife placed with you, with the order number AP[redacted]. It was meant to be a Christmas gift, but I have been a customer of yours for years, and my Norton [redacted] Premium with the order number NP[redacted] is still valid until 1/19/21. If cancellation is no longer possible, I kindly request an exchange and to switch to my more affordable annual subscription, with the remaining amount refunded to my wife.
Worpswede, 12/21/[redacted],

I'm still waiting for the refund from Norton for the product I haven't used since November 18, [redacted]. Despite contacting Norton's customer service multiple times, I have yet to receive any updates. I want the full amount of £[redacted].97 refunded as soon as possible. I only realized that money was taken from my credit card, which I haven't used since October [redacted], when I checked with my bank in person.

I am having trouble installing Norton Antivirus on my Mac with the Big Sur 11.1 operating system. The issue started after I purchased a subscription following my previous Norton through Xfinity. Despite attempting to install it multiple times, I encounter various problems. Occasionally, nothing occurs after installation and restart, at times I receive an error message stating the file is corrupted prompting me to reinstall, and on other occasions, although the Norton icon shows up on the dock, clicking on it yields no response. I have contacted support regarding this matter previously and was given case number [redacted] 18 [redacted].

On November 18, [redacted], I purchased a 12-month Norton Antivirus subscription using my credit card. I later received and installed it. However, I stopped using that credit card when I got a new one. After changing my computer, the new provider installed a different antivirus, and I also switched broadband services and lost my old email. Unexpectedly, multiple payments totaling £[redacted].97 were deducted from my credit card without me noticing due to missing statements. I only became aware of the deductions after visiting the bank and discovering the issue. Despite calling the customer service number and speaking with six representatives from India who promised a supervisor callback, I have not received any assistance. I have been assigned case numbers [redacted]1 and [redacted]9. I am requesting a refund for the Norton Antivirus payments since I did not use the software during this time. If possible, I would appreciate a different contact number for resolving this issue. Thank you.

I have an active subscription to Norton Utilities Premium and Security for three Windows 10 and one Windows 7 computers, all running smoothly. However, I encountered an issue with three Windows XP computers used for running old games. Since Norton doesn't support installation on Windows XP, I bought a sealed "Norton Antivirus [redacted]" from eBay to provide a basic level of protection. After installing it, I realized it requires activation within a few days to work, but the activation servers are inaccessible, and phone activation is no longer an option. Is there any way to obtain activation codes to maintain some level of protection for my Windows XP computers? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect a security breach in my system. I utilize an offsite password manager with its unique password. It's concerning that despite changing individual passwords stored in the app, I consistently receive errors when logging into various sites. The issue is recent and unusual, as I've owned this password app for several years without any problems.
I encountered difficulty contacting Norton for support as I couldn't locate a phone number on their website. Regrettably, I have fallen victim to scams twice by using contact information provided on their site, resulting in losses of approximately $[redacted] for fake security services. If this vulnerability occurs again, I will not hesitate to take action.

I recently received an email informing me that my Norton trial offer has ended, and my credit card will be charged for a subscription. The email mentioned Comcast and provided an account number of [redacted]. I did not sign up for any trial or subscription. I would appreciate it if someone could look into this to confirm if it's a valid charge or a scam. I have no interest in paying for a service I didn't agree to. Thank you.

I have been trying to cancel this service shortly after attempting to download it. Unfortunately, my Mac already had an anti-virus program installed by our IT department which I was unaware of. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service through emails, phone calls, and "chats," I have had no success in canceling. I continue to receive emails from Norton requesting a final step for completion of the download. However, my IT support confirmed that the program is not fully downloaded on my Mac. Seeking a resolution, I contacted Wells Fargo to assist me in obtaining a full refund of the $39.99. I do not wish to receive any more emails or continue paying for a program that has not been fully installed on my Mac. Apologies for the inconvenience, but this has been an ongoing issue for a few months.

I am concerned about a recent encounter with Norton. On March 16th, I received an email supposedly from Norton stating my subscription had renewed for $[redacted].99 without my consent. The email came from [redacted], and the attached invoice #[redacted]8 urged me to call [redacted]. Upon calling, the line was often busy.
After seeking help from "Contact Norton Support," I was directed to Harry Thompson at [redacted]. Harry asked for personal information, and during the conversation, unauthorized bitcoin purchases were made through PayPal. The situation escalated to supervisor Alex Parker, who requested $4,[redacted] via a store card.
As a result, I had to cancel two credit cards due to unauthorized transactions. I am left puzzled by the complexity of the situation and seek guidance on resolving this issue.

I wish to cancel my membership that unexpectedly renewed. I did not authorize auto-renewal. The order number is AP[redacted]. I am requesting a full refund to my credit card as the new subscription was not needed for another two weeks. The Norton website is difficult to navigate, and customer support via chat and phone has been unsatisfactory. It took me over an hour to get through today. The option to cancel from the "my subscription" tab was not available as stated in the website support instructions. The phone numbers link and problem resolution links were inactive. I have contacted my credit card company and will involve the BBB if this matter is not resolved promptly.

I assisted an 86-year-old friend in purchasing a new computer. Realizing it was too complicated for her, we returned it. Although I bought Norton for the computer, it was never downloaded. After multiple calls, a representative mentioned sending a refund for $19.99 to my credit card, but I have yet to receive it. I have disputed the charge with Discover card. I am requesting a prompt refund to be credited to my account. Delay in resolving this may impact my future Norton purchases. If not resolved soon, I may share my experience on various consumer sites. The email used for the purchase was [redacted], but payment was made with my Discover card. Please communicate regarding this matter through [redacted] Thank you, Ann W.

I have been receiving repeated emails from someone claiming to be from Norton, stating that $[redacted] will be deducted from our account for renewing our membership. We have not lived in the States for many years. Although my husband is American and lived there while working, we have been permanent residents of the U.K. for a long time. The email instructs me to call a U.S. phone number to cancel and provides a U.S. number to contact, but I am hesitant to make an international call. I suspect this is a scam. I am unsure where to report it, but it seems like someone using a Gmail address is misusing Norton's name. They seem to have information about our previous U.S. bank account and Norton membership. I seek advice on how to stop these emails and thought it best to inform someone at Norton. Thank you, Anne C.

I tried calling several times and got disconnected. I am unable to access the chat feature anymore. I purchased Norton, but I am having trouble downloading it and have not received any assistance. I have been waiting for support for a long time, which is frustrating. I am finding it hard to get help, and the wait times are extremely long. I am feeling overwhelmed and upset about not being able to resolve this issue. Waiting on the phone has been unproductive, and the situation is disappointing. I followed all the instructions for the download, but I'm still in need of help.

I have a case number [redacted]2. While I was traveling from PA to Guam, I thought I had accepted the $1 offer for Norton AntiVirus Plus through Xfinity, but it seems my response didn't go through. I received a renewal for LifeLock Standard™ for USD 79.49 and another charge of USD [redacted].99 for a Norton product on my Visa bill. I want to cancel the current subscriptions and switch to the $1 offer. I am unable to call as I am in Guam until August, so I am reaching out via email. Sorry for any inconvenience; this was all happening while traveling internationally. Thank you, Ed G.

I am experiencing issues with a neighbor connecting to my devices through my WiFi and Bluetooth. They are tampering with my Apple ID, sharing my phone screen, and tracking me using find my iPhone and Apple Maps. I have tried using Norton [redacted] iPhone and a VPN but encountered connectivity problems. I suspect my MacBook Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are compromised as well. I need assistance setting up secure VPN on my devices. Despite seeking help from Apple and Norton, I continue to face security breaches. I am looking for a reliable solution to these constant invasions of privacy and security concerns. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, David Inabinet.

On the 30th of May [redacted], I attempted to transfer my Norton LifeLock subscription to a new laptop but encountered difficulties. Upon contacting the Norton LifeLock support number, I was informed that I did not have an active subscription for the past seven years, despite automatic payments being deducted on the 16th of March [redacted] for $[redacted].99 AUD. I proceeded to make a payment of $79.99 AUD from my Suncorp account as advised by a Norton employee, but my PayPal transaction displayed $76.99 to Norton LifeLock Singapore on the 30th of May [redacted]. I am seeking clarification on the discrepancies in the amounts paid and would appreciate a refund for any incorrect charges. I have contacted Suncorp Bank for further investigation, and they confirmed Norton LifeLock as a legitimate company. Additionally, there seems to be an error in my email address on file, previously listed as [redacted] instead of [redacted] for over a decade. Please rectify this issue. My contact number +[redacted]9 may require modification for international calls, as it should be dialed as [redacted] within Australia. Thank you.

I had Norton [redacted] on my computer, but it didn't work properly. I think it might have been unofficial since I downloaded it from a link on eBay. I decided to purchase Norton Security and received a new product code. When I tried to run Norton Security, it suggested using Norton [redacted] as it had more days left. However, Norton [redacted] doesn't seem to detect any issues and prompted me to buy another Norton product to clear internet clutter, which I found frustrating. When I attempted to uninstall Norton [redacted], it showed I still had a year left. Now, I have both Norton [redacted] and Norton Security icons on my desktop, and I just want one that works well. I use a Windows 10 laptop, and my new product code is JFMY9-QVJW2-4H92C-MWDHW-B9HKJ. I encountered a help page that asked for payment details, but I cancelled as I was unsure about its legitimacy.
