If you want a refund from Norton, you may request it within 60 days after making your purchase. Norton offers refunds for both subscriptions and automatic renewals. However, they do not give refunds for shipping and handling fees except in certain countries.

Requesting a Refund for Norton Security subscription

If you are not happy with the protection offered by Norton or have trouble using your product, you may contact the customer support team for assistance. If, however, you are certain that you no longer need it, you may request a refund.

Requesting a Refund for Subscriptions Purchased on the Norton Online Store

If you want a refund for items that you purchased on the Norton online store, you should contact their customer support team directly. When you are connected with a customer care representative, explain that you want a refund. If you are eligible for one, it will be sent to you as soon as possible.

If You Purchased Your Subscription from a Third Party

When submitting your request for a refund, you must include all the important details. If you leave out any important details, your request may be denied.

1. Complete, sign and print the relevant form depending on your region

2. Print out the image of your Subscription Key Label that you used to activate your account. The image will be used to validate your purchase. In most cases, it is a 25-character key which you can find on a card in the package you purchased.

3. Print out an image of your original receipt. Ensure that the purchase date and price are clear

4. Send the completed and signed form to Norton along with a copy of the receipt and a copy of your Subscription Key Label. You can find the relevant address on the form. Submit them together but do not staple them together.

Once your request is reviewed, you will receive your refund and your Norton license will be disabled. You need to delete all program files for that subscription. You may have to wait up to six weeks before getting your refund.

Returns to the Apple App Store

To return items to the Apple App Store, you need to contact their support team. They have a different Returns & Refunds policy.

Refunds for Norton that is From the Service Provider

If you purchased your Norton product from a service or internet service provider, it is impossible to get a refund. If you have any issues, you need to contact your service provider for help.

Turning Off Automatic Renewal

If you do not cancel your automatic renewal, your subscription will be renewed at the end of the billing cycle. Once you have canceled your automatic renewal, you need to renew it manually if you want to continue enjoying Norton protection. If your account has already been charged, follow these steps to request a refund;

1. Sign in to Norton

2. Find the 'My Subscriptions' tab and move the slider to 'OFF'

3. Click 'Turn Off'

4. Choose a reason on the 'Automatic Renewal' page

5. Click 'Turn off'

6. You will be prompted to renew your subscription when it expires.

If you need help from Norton Antivirus, you may contact their customer service team for help. The best way to contact Norton if you would like to speak with a representative is on the phone. Express your request for a refund and they will guide you in seeking it. Another way to contact the support team is through live chat. You may seek support on Twitter if you don't need to speak with an agent.

On the help desk, there are plenty of tips and suggestions that may help you address your issues.
