As a former drainage engineer at South Tyneside Council, Mike Yates brought to our attention a severely cracked and collapsing manhole chamber on Boldon Flats, Tyne and Wear. Yates noted that the crack requires further investigation as water from the mudflats is likely seeping into the sewer through it.
East Boldon Forum, focusing on enhancing the mudflats and adjacent SSSI, is troubled by this issue. The group collaborates with various parties to protect the area's ecosystem balance, especially considering the national decline of mudflats as vital habitats.
Birders support this concern about water extraction affecting the site. Northumbrian Water is sought for assistance in inspecting and repairing the damaged manhole to safeguard the natural environment. Delia McNally, representing East Boldon Neighbourhood Forum, appreciates any help provided in addressing this critical matter.

Hello,
I would like to report a situation regarding my relative Saldeen Khan, residing at 31 South Terrace, South Bank, Middlesbrough [redacted]. It has come to my attention that he has not paid his water bill for the past 15 to 17 years. He has intentionally hidden his water meter to avoid receiving bills, resulting in illegal water usage. Despite my own recent penalty for a missed payment, no action has been taken against him. I suspect he may have bribed water supply authorities to tamper with his meter. I am willing to provide evidence of his illicit actions. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you.
