On April 26th, I emailed customer service to ensure my account wouldn't renew and be charged $22.xx. Despite my efforts, I received an email from My Life stating my account renewed and was charged. I contacted customer service, provided necessary information, and confirmed my membership was canceled. My concern now is the timeline for my refund to be credited back to my card. Despite numerous requests to resend login details, I have not received any emails. I want these charges to cease immediately. I have been unwittingly billed for over two years. I recently filed a police report because unauthorized charges of $22.95 were made to a MyLife account, which I did not authorize. After trying to contact your company, I was on hold for over 30 minutes and then disconnected. I have attempted to call back 7-8 times today and keep experiencing the same issue. I urgently require this subscription to be canceled and a refund issued to my debit card today, Friday, March 10th, [redacted]. I also received an email to my Yahoo account which I did not authorize, and I have included this fraudulent charge in the police report I filed.

As a retired letter carrier with a pristine 34-year work record, I have paid off my home valued at $[redacted],[redacted] and am worth significantly more than the mentioned amount. The .6 rating attributed to me is inaccurate and hurtful. I am insisting that my name be promptly removed from your site unless you can verify the facts. In January, I signed up for two promotions - a one-week trial for $1 and a two-week trial for $1. After the trials ended, I sent an email clearly stating that I didn't want to continue at the regular rate. However, today I discovered that my account was charged $14.95 and $19.95 in March, April, and May without my authorization. I haven't used the services and was surprised to see the charges. I need this issue resolved immediately as it caused financial strain, and I insist on a refund. I had a positive experience with mylife in [redacted] and didn't encounter such problems then. I was charged $40 for a subscription I never agreed to. After calling customer service, BAUL promptly credited my account as they acknowledged their error. I only signed up for a $1 trial offer, which I cancelled in time. However, I was still charged the additional $39 without consent, which I consider fraudulent. Despite closing the account months ago, $23 was taken out today. I am frustrated as there seems to be no way to send a screenshot of the charge as requested. I am prepared to seek legal advice if necessary. I will contact customer service again in the morning to address this issue. The unauthorized charges must be refunded promptly to avoid further complications.

A month ago, I called to confirm if I had any active accounts or free trials associated with my name. After speaking with a representative who assured me there were none, I was still charged $23 two days later. Despite trying to contact customer service through email with no response, I have been billed another $23 today. I am frustrated as I was told I had no account, yet I have been charged twice. I have clearly stated that I do not know, have never met, and am not related to any of the individuals listed as my neighbors, friends, or associates. I kindly request for you to promptly remove them as I am currently seeking employment with a company that requires a mandatory background check, which is why I visited your site in the first place. I don't mind having a profile on mylife.com, but the information on it is mostly incorrect. While my name and birthday are accurate, the rest of the details, including contact and location information, are not right. I have never used Yahoo or any email addresses outside of my Google work account. Everything I use is Google-related. Also, I only briefly visited Schroon Lake 20 years ago because of my wife's connection to the area. My high school information is also incorrect. I kindly request that you delete my profile. I signed up for a one-time trial in May, and my credit card was charged for auto-renewal in June without my consent. Despite requesting cancellation, I received an email stating my membership will auto-renew on July 7. The claims of criminal or civil court records attributed to my background report and the insinuation of aliases are unjust, creating a misleading picture of someone avoiding the law. MyLife's approach appears dedicated to uncovering details that can be misinterpreted negatively to assign the worst "reputation rating" and entice payment for corrections.
MyLife seems adept at retrieving decades-old personal records but struggles to access current information like my strong credit history, despite easily sourcing my recent photo from Facebook. This behavior violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and accountability is inevitable for the deliberate, unlawful practice of tarnishing reputations for financial gain. I demand the immediate removal of the file for Fred Lozen. Rest assured, compensation for the harm inflicted on my reputation and business will be pursued.

I was charged twice for a membership I canceled immediately after a free trial. The company reversed the first charge but claims they have no record of the second charge appearing on my account, which is visible on my card activity statement. The pending second charge is separate from the original charge and refund. I am adamant about getting this second charge refunded as well, as I did not use or like the service. I do not want to pay $45 for a service I did not use when I should not have been charged in the first place. Here is a screenshot of my card activity statement displaying the charges.
