During my stay at the Motel 6 in Milford, I encountered an unsettling situation. Before the check-out time at 11 a.m., I had not returned my key cards and had stepped out briefly. Upon my return, a cleaner was in my room. Despite informing her that I had not checked out and questioning her presence, she began disposing of my belongings in the trash. After a brief discussion and confronting her, I escalated the issue to her boss, who offered an apology and attempted to justify the cleaner's actions. However, there was no offer to compensate for the discarded items. I believe that my lost property should be replaced, not just for the value but also as a matter of principle.

I encountered multiple issues in my room at your facility on Youngerman Circle, Jacksonville, Florida. In Room [redacted], the air conditioner was leaking water, vents were clogged with dust and mold, the phone didn't work, and the toilet tank lid was broken. I only received a small amount of ice for two days. After moving to Room [redacted], I discovered the towel rack was missing. Despite reporting these problems, they weren't addressed. Additionally, the pool was closed due to health standards not being met. I found the cleanliness lacking, even after requesting new towels and a sheet. The service did not live up to the advertised standards. My stay was unsatisfactory, and I expect a refund for the entire duration. I took care of cleaning myself as the staff did not address my concerns.

I made a reservation a month and a half ago for a one-night stay in Boise, Idaho with a late check-in. When I called to inform the motel 6 of my late arrival, the employee mentioned an issue with charging my card. I explained that my card was inactive due to a bank switch, and thought it had already been charged. However, the conversation quickly turned unpleasant as the employee displayed impatience and rudeness. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, her attitude escalated. When I questioned her behavior, she abruptly cancelled my reservation while raising her voice and then hung up on me. I am deeply disappointed with how this was handled. I remained polite while seeking clarification, but her unprofessional conduct led to the cancellation of my reservation and inconvenience. I urge the management to review the recorded call to understand the situation fully.

The hotel manager at [redacted] Philips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida, has been accused of using racial slurs towards African American guests. Additionally, there are allegations of a romantic relationship between the manager, Rob, and a female housekeeper named Linda Siderine, who is now a manager at Motel 6 in Orange Park. Tragically, a worker, Mrs. Gayle, who was supposed to testify against Rob and Linda, was found dead before she could testify. There are concerns about the inappropriate behavior captured on the security cameras at Motel 6. This situation should be thoroughly investigated and addressed promptly as it violates professional conduct standards for managers to engage in relationships with staff members.

While I was searching for a house to buy, I stayed at Motel 6 in Greenville, South Carolina, on Wade Hampton Blvd. Due to a family emergency, the manager, Megan Parham, offered to pack up a few of my belongings that I hadn't had time to pack myself. She assured me she would store my important papers, a new rice cooker, coffee pot, CDs, clothes, and credit card information in a secure place, but when I returned after 10 days, the room remained uncleaned. My groceries had spoiled, and my belongings were left in a shopping cart outside. I even left behind frozen food items and a new chair for Megan as a thank you, but everything was mishandled. I was then abruptly told to leave the premises and was banned from the motel, even though I had been a loyal guest for 35 years. It was a disappointing experience and I am upset about the way my items were treated.

During my stay at Motel 6 in Anderson, CA, my son accidentally spilled his drink on the floor and table. To ensure the room was left clean, I took the initiative to clean up the mess. However, the next day I was informed by the staff that I would be charged $75 for 3 hand towels that were stained by the spill. I believe the towels could have been easily cleaned or bleached for reuse as they were not severely damaged. I feel it is unfair to be charged such a significant amount, essentially half of my deposit, for only three small hand towels, especially considering the cleanliness of the rest of the room.

I made a payment to booking.com for a one-night stay. Upon arrival at the motel, the staff couldn't locate my booking and I was charged again. The manager apologized and mentioned that a refund would take seven business days. Unfortunately, due to being charged twice, my bank account was overdrawn and I incurred an overdraft fee from Wells Fargo. I'm seeking guidance on how to address the overdraft fee caused by this error at Motel 6.

Last night, Casey T and I rented a room at the Grants Pass North Motel Six using my Cash App card. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue during my stay. In the early morning, I received a call from the manager, Jesse B, claiming I was an unregistered guest and needed to show ID. Due to my recent release from federal prison, I only had my federal prison ID card as identification. Jesse mentioned a story about a friend dating Casey and implied she had been to the room before. Despite my explanation, I was asked to leave at 2 o'clock. I had to wait in my van until 5 o'clock for Casey to finish work. The room cost $77, and I hope to be reimbursed for the inconvenience caused. I trust you will handle the situation with your staff accordingly. Any additional compensation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am extremely upset about my recent stay at Studio 6 in Salt Lake City. The room I was given cost fifty dollars, but it did not include any sheets or blankets. When I requested them, I was told that it was too late for them to provide any. To make matters worse, the room was infested with roaches and bed bugs, the heating system was not working, and the door wouldn't lock properly. I used to work in hotels for a long time, and I know for a fact that this is unacceptable and likely illegal. When I requested a refund, they refused. My son even got bitten by bed bugs. I am considering legal action against Studio 6; I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with this experience.

During my stay at Motel 6 ID [redacted], I called to reserve 2 rooms for 1 night on my way to San Antonio. I provided my credit card details over the phone, intending to pay in cash upon arrival. To my surprise, my debit card was charged before I arrived. Even after explaining this to the front desk, they charged me once more when I got there. The staff initially said everything was fine, only to realize I was double-charged later. When I requested a refund and asked to speak to the manager, I was told to call back at 5 am as he was unavailable at the time. The clerk mentioned it would take 3 days to refund $85, although I was charged $[redacted] for the rooms. This discrepancy left me confused and frustrated about the situation.

The Moses Lake, Washington location has subpar guest services as housekeeping does not provide stay-over services, neglecting to collect dirty linens left outside rooms. The cleanliness standards fall short with visible pink soap scum and black mold in the shower stalls and on the ceilings of 95% of the rooms. Several individuals have been residing at this motel for months, unrelated to construction or travel work. The telephone system solely connects to the front office in all rooms, making it impossible to call [redacted] directly. Some rooms remain unclean for an extended period, lacking sufficient towels and linens, with flat pillows and walls needing cleaning evidence of drug use on ceilings. The situation warrants urgent attention and improvement at this location.

I've spent a significant amount of time drafting this message and sending it to you. I am uncertain if you have received it, as the questionnaire continues to inquire about my likelihood of recommending your services. Will there be any efforts made to address this issue? Have you had the chance to inspect the room or view the evidence I possess, which will be shared online if the matter is not rectified? I am currently feeling frustrated. Should you fail to contact me via phone or email or take appropriate action, I am prepared to publicize this situation as I have a substantial following and contribute to a prominent publication. Unless you investigate the incident rather than dismissing it, you risk losing a customer of over 30 years along with many more. I urge you to reach out or communicate via email promptly. It is essential to address this matter as it is outrageous. Despite the fact that Motel 6 may be known as a budget option, the condition of the room was unacceptable, extensively documented, and disregarded by your establishment. The completion of a 30-minute survey under these circumstances is unreasonable. Please elevate this matter to the corporate level as I will persist until a resolution is reached. I value my hard-earned money and hope to prevent others from falling victim to questionable business practices at your establishment.

During my recent stay at your Tempe location two nights ago in room [redacted] with my girlfriend and 9-year-old granddaughter, we encountered a concerning situation. My granddaughter found drug paraphernalia behind the nightstand when she dropped her colored pencil. This discovery was distressing, especially for a child her age. When I raised this issue with Francesca, the response was dismissive, which was unacceptable to me. I am requesting a full refund for this unpleasant experience. My family and I do not condone drug use, and it is crucial to me to maintain a drug-free environment for my loved ones. I hope we can resolve this matter promptly and amicably without the need for legal involvement. I have photographic evidence of the items found in the room.

To the Management of Motel 6 at [redacted] East Mulberry Street, Fort Collins, CO [redacted],
I am writing to address some disappointing experiences during my recent stay in room [redacted] from January 25 to January 26. The check-in process was extremely slow despite having a confirmed reservation, leading to unnecessary delays. Once in the room, we noticed multiple issues including unkempt bedding, stained linens, debris on the floor, and an overall lack of cleanliness in the bathroom. My severe dust allergy was triggered by the dusty conditions in the room. Despite alerting the front desk, no action was taken to address these concerns.
I am deeply unsatisfied with the substandard service we received. As my girlfriend undergoes chemotherapy, it is crucial for us to have a clean and comfortable environment during our stay. I kindly request that prompt measures be taken to rectify these deficiencies to ensure a more pleasant and hygienic stay for guests in the future. I have documented the issues with photos and am willing to provide further evidence if necessary.
Thank you for addressing these matters promptly.
Sincerely,
Anas F. & Sam

My partner and I were evicted from our home on January 2, [redacted], and had to stay at Motel 6 in Ruidoso, NM. The female manager got fired, and the new manager, Jeb, was hired. He offered my partner a job. However, during our stay, my partner and I had disagreements, and the managers asked about it in front of other guests. I was later asked to leave by Sunday while my partner, as an employee, could stay. This left us homeless since January 2nd. I'm upset at how the managers handled the situation, embarrassing me in front of others without a chance to explain. The issue with my partner involves his drug problem, which led to people coming to our room to buy drugs due to employees and former employees living at the motel. Motel 6 seems to lack drug screening for employees. I've been trying to save our relationship, but now I'm not allowed at Motel 6, leaving me in a difficult situation with the cold weather and a powerless home. I hope corporate addresses the privacy breach and drug issues among employees.

During my stay at a motel in Seaside, Oregon, on 2/4/[redacted], I encountered a distressing situation. When I politely requested a room closer due to my disability, the night manager was unsympathetic. Despite my obvious limp, he insisted I didn’t need a closer room since I could walk the distance. His dismissive attitude escalated when I explained my need for proximity due to my disability. He unjustly accused me of being abusive and refused to rent me a room, even threatening to involve the police. After a challenging search, I found accommodation at Best Western, which provided exceptional service. The subsequent interactions with Motel 6's manager were disappointing as she supported the night manager’s actions and even falsely claimed I damaged their property. Feeling discriminated against and mistreated, I am exploring legal actions to address this violation of my rights as a disabled individual. Despite lodging a complaint, I have yet to receive a response, prompting me to consider legal recourse upon my return home.

I recently stayed at the Extended Stay Inn in Fresno, CA a week ago. Upon check-in, I paid a $[redacted] cash deposit as instructed by the front desk staff. I was informed that the deposit would be refunded upon check-out. However, after checking out the next day at 8 AM, I hadn't received my deposit back by late afternoon. I waited a few days before contacting them. Initially, they mentioned it could take 3 to 5 days for the refund. After calling again on the fifth day, they extended the timeframe to 4 to 6 days. It's now the seventh day, and I still haven't received the refund. I attempted to contact them multiple times today, but each time I was hung up on. I urgently need the deposit returned to me.

Good afternoon, I usually stay at the Irvine location due to its proximity to my work. During my recent stay, I encountered some concerning incidents. After quickly checking in, I found items missing from my room which had already been cleaned. Later, when I returned from being out, I noticed more items gone. Additionally, there were disturbances from guests in an adjoining room. When I brought these issues to the front desk, I felt they were not taken seriously, especially by a staff member named Monica who mentioned reviewing security footage. I was disheartened by the lack of attention to my concerns and the breach of my belongings. I believe a refund or credit, along with an apology, would be appropriate to address these unsettling experiences.

During my recent stay at the Mt. Vernon Motel 6, I was asked for a $50 damage deposit on my card. However, the next day I learned that had I paid in cash, I could have received an immediate refund, unlike with a card. The manager had to handle the refund. Despite being uncomfortable, I left for my room inspection. Tish, the employee, checked the room thoroughly and confirmed it was fine. Five days later, only half of my deposit was refunded. The front desk explained that $25 was deducted for washing a comforter supposedly damaged by us. I questioned why only that item was washed. When I requested to speak to the manager, I was denied and met with hostile responses claiming there was video evidence. Despite waiting for the manager's call, there was none. After corporate intervention, the manager provided pictures showing minimal dirt spots, possibly from sheets being placed on a wet floor.

On January 23, [redacted], I checked into Motel 6 Airport in SLC, UT for a two-night stay. However, I encountered issues with noisy construction workers working throughout the night, disturbing my sleep. When I tried to address this with the manager and request a room change, I faced danger from construction materials being thrown near my room without any safety warnings. Despite attempting to speak with the manager multiple times, I did not receive any assistance due to her absence. After waiting for hours, I decided to check out and requested a refund for the night due to the unsafe conditions and unprofessional behavior of the staff. Even after following up with the manager and visiting the office, the refund has not been processed after 2 months. I am disappointed with the situation and seek a resolution, including the refund and potential compensation for the inconvenience caused during my stay.
