During my recent stay, I encountered several issues with the room. The curtain was broken, resulting in holes in the sheets and blood stains. There was also water leaking under the sink and items stuck to the floor. I found pubic hair on the bathroom door and the air conditioner was not functioning properly, causing it to sweat throughout the night. In addition, a false fire alarm went off around 4 am. When I requested a room change, I was informed none were available until the following day at 3 pm. Due to these inconveniences and concerns for safety, I am requesting a refund for my stay. I understand that motel experiences can vary, but this fell below expectations. Thank you for addressing these issues promptly.

I made a reservation at Motel 6 in Odenton, MD, on Annapolis Road. When I arrived around 11:30 p.m., the lobby was hot due to a broken air conditioner. I waited in line behind three individuals, one of whom had trouble with the key to their room for three hours, while the other had been waiting over an hour. The front desk staff didn't communicate well, leaving me feeling frustrated and sweaty. Despite coming to the desk four times, the key to my room (Room [redacted]) never worked. Ultimately, we gave up and went to stay at another location, Motel 6 Baltimore BWI on Raynor Ave. in Linthicum Heights. I would appreciate a refund for the night to my card. Thank you.

I wanted to share our recent experience at the Motel6 in Southington, CT. We have been regular guests for over 30 years but our stay on May 22, [redacted], was disappointing. When we arrived, our TV and phone didn't work, the room was not well-maintained, and the cleanliness was subpar. Despite seeking assistance from the manager, the issues were not adequately resolved. After filling out a feedback survey with no follow-up, we chose not to stay the night and continued our journey home to Maryland. This experience has led us to no longer consider Motel6 as a preferred accommodation option. Thank you. - M Christine Breedlove

I had a reservation at Motel 6 in Reno, Nevada, for Saturday and Sunday night, with my credit card on file. The hotel tried to charge my card before my check-in, which led to a decline as I had it disabled for security. Despite being assured no charge would occur until check-in, they attempted to process the payment without informing me. Consequently, my reservation was canceled without any attempts to contact me for an alternative payment method, resulting in the room being given to someone else. I'm now without accommodation for my birthday weekend in Reno. I would like my reservation reinstated and the room to be made available as originally planned.

I made a reservation through Hotel Book online for my trip to Uvalde, TX. Upon arrival, my reservation couldn't be found. The front desk clerk advised me to contact the [redacted] number for support. With my itinerary number, the support team located my reservation quickly. Despite the front desk clerk's permission to honor my reservation, the customer support representative stated that the clerk refused to provide a room without me paying an additional $[redacted]. I couldn't afford the increase, which led me to spend 30 minutes booking online, then to drive back home 2 hours away, arriving at midnight and nearly avoiding an accident. The customer service representative on [redacted] assured me of a refund, but when I called back later, I was told to contact the hotel directly. I am disappointed to be out of money without a room. I am considering leaving a review but wanted to offer the chance for a refund or a room reservation for the following day, as my 5-year-old was excited about visiting Garner State Park. I am open to foregoing the refund if a room can be provided at the original rate of $88.09. I also plan to file a complaint about the rude employee's lack of customer service skills that night. Thank you.

I made a reservation for a room at [redacted] LaPorte Rd in Waterloo, IA, from July 12th to 16th. Upon arrival, we experienced multiple room changes due to various issues like noisy air conditioning, missing fridge, lights not working, and wet floors. Despite moving six times, the manager showed little interest in compensating for the inconvenience. After discussing with the manager and being promised a refund, we only received $25 back out of a $[redacted].76 bill. I reached out to the manager later, and he seemed to have forgotten our previous conversation. He eventually agreed to provide some compensation on our credit card, but the amount falls short of the troubles we faced. I expect a fair resolution to this matter promptly or will escalate the issue further. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I used the last of my money to stay in Tallahassee while searching for an attorney to help protect me from my husband. I booked a 5-night stay at Motel 6; my confirmation number is NCP4LMFN33, and the total amount paid was $[redacted].24.
By the second day, I was locked out of my room multiple times due to issues with the key card. The staff informed me that my reservation had been canceled and the room was given to someone else. I was only allowed to retrieve my dogs and nothing else. This incident led to a traffic stop, and eventually, with the help of the police, I was able to collect my belongings but was asked to leave the property for good.
The whole ordeal left me without shelter for a night, and I had to spend emergency money for an early check-in at a Quality Inn the next day. The experience at Motel 6 ruined my trip, and despite their claims of not charging me, they are refusing to refund my money. Even my debit card company couldn't resolve the issue.
I'm in a difficult situation as my husband has blocked my access to our funds, and I returned to find my belongings stored away by the landlord. I need my money refunded and assistance with a temporary place to stay. I'm willing to provide positive reviews in exchange.

Last Friday, I made a booking for a room for the next day, Saturday. However, due to flight delays, my husband couldn't make it home until Sunday, causing us to cancel our reservation. The process of canceling and receiving a refund has been quite frustrating. After multiple calls to both the hotel directly and the [redacted] number, I have still not been able to resolve the issue. Despite assurances from guest relations, I was unable to reach the hotel and ultimately had my booking canceled without my consent. The hotel manager refused to provide a refund even though I had already paid for the room. This led to additional expenses at another hotel in Biloxi. I am now seeking a refund for the original booking at Motel 6 and would like the customer service team to review the recorded phone calls for a resolution. My booking number is EEA7DF5GMP.

I had a troubling experience with one of your managers who refused to let me park my newly bought Mercedes Benz on the premises. Despite explaining the temporary tagging issue, she still called a tow truck, resulting in a $75 impound fee and two days of inconvenience to retrieve my car. I believe I should be compensated for the nights I've stayed. Two days of missed work equate to about $[redacted]-$[redacted] for me. Please educate your staff that parking a recently purchased vehicle is not illegal, especially during the current situation with the DMV appointments being limited until August. The manager's actions were unwarranted and caused financial and logistical strain for me. My name is Philip Sampson. Please contact me at [redacted] to resolve this matter promptly.

Hello,
I'm writing to share my disappointing experience during my recent trip to Palm Springs with my boyfriend. I'm a loyal user of Priceline.com, but this time, things didn't go as planned at The Motel 6 on [redacted] E. Palm Canyon Dr. in Palm Springs. Upon arrival, I requested a downstairs room due to my hip issues, but the General Manager's rude response shocked me. After being told to take my refund and leave, we ended up at the downtown Motel 6 where I had to pay for a new room out of pocket while waiting for my refund. The staff at the second location were much more pleasant, and I even learned they had their own issues with the same manager. I believe this behavior is unacceptable and should be addressed promptly to avoid further incidents. I would appreciate a gesture of goodwill after this negative experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
S.S.

When I first arrived, the room I was given hadn't been cleaned. The unmade beds, trash in the can, and the bathroom light on inside made me uncomfortable. When I requested a new room, I was met with skepticism from the front desk staff. Despite receiving a different room with clean, made beds, I was surprised to find no trash can available. The front desk suggested using the dumpster outside which was not ideal. I expressed my disappointment in the situation considering the price I paid for the room, expecting better customer service.

I purchased tickets for a concert in California and booked a room for August 4th to the 6th to enjoy with my friends. Upon arrival, we found that the linens in the room were dirty with black hair, smudges, and marks. Despite notifying the front desk, they were unable to move us to another room due to full occupancy. Regrettably, the lack of cleanliness extended to the bathroom, with evident neglect in cleaning. Walking barefoot in the room left my feet dirty, and we had to make do with floor mats and hand towels for drying off as there were no clean towels. Additionally, the pool was closed, breakfast unavailable, and the premises were littered with trash, including a gallon of spoiled milk near the parking lot. Room #[redacted] had numerous cleanliness issues, compounded by the presence of staff loitering outside the room at night and multiple individuals seen entering a single housekeeping room. Unfortunately, this experience has left me dissatisfied and hesitant to revisit a Motel 6 in the future.

During my stay at Motel 6 in King of Prussia, I encountered a situation I found very disturbing. While at the front desk, a female staff member exhibited discriminatory behavior towards me, a Native American guest. She ignored me, provided excellent service to a Black male guest, and even made a disrespectful comment about me to another guest. Despite my complaint to management, I was later informed that I had been placed on a "do not rent" list without any prior notice. When I called the corporate office, I was met with unhelpful responses and rudeness. The staff's conduct, including potential theft by housekeepers and poor management responses, is unacceptable and should be addressed promptly to avoid legal consequences and damage to the motel's reputation.

I had a concerning experience with the main hotel clerk. I was cursed at and threatened when trying to rent a room as an out-of-state guest. The clerk listed several "rules" I had to follow and warned me I would be thrown out without a refund if I even socialized with other guests. This treatment was especially upsetting because my friend needed a place to stay overnight after his elderly grandmother couldn't pick him up. Despite providing his ID, the hotel didn't anticipate a problem. I fear reporting even a simple maintenance issue, like my clogged toilet, as I worry about being kicked out with my children. When I offered to rent a separate room for my friend, the clerk refused and threatened to ban us nationally. We've kept to ourselves and caused no trouble, but the clerk deemed us problematic after a brief interaction with another guest. Sending a police officer at 9 pm for a security check was excessive. I've already paid for two more nights and am anxious about being evicted without a refund. This situation is unfair, and having had prior experience working in a hotel, I've never encountered such strict rules. Though I'd rather leave, I'm stuck here until my apartment is ready, as the house I paid for earlier turned out to be a scam. I simply want to ensure my friend and his little brother have a place to sleep if their grandmother fails to pick them up. However, with the clerk's unreasonable rules, I'm left uncertain about their safety. It's distressing to think of being kicked out without funds and nowhere else to go. My 7-year-old son has two heart conditions and can't endure the heat for long periods. I'm at a loss for what to do in this challenging situation.

I have already informed the police about the incident. Hotels.com was unable to assist in recovering the stolen items valued at 10,[redacted] dollars from my hotel room, which was reserved until June 23, [redacted]. I had to vacate the room on June 17, [redacted], due to feeling pressured by housekeeping and the front desk staff after asking to use the laundry room at 8 pm on the same day. As I was relocating to a new apartment with my two dogs, not being able to access the laundry room led me to decide to change hotels. When I left the front desk, housekeeping staff confronted me in a threatening manner, prompting me to leave my belongings in the hotel room that I had paid for until June 23rd. Additional details are provided in my police report.

Report # [redacted]: I've had a challenging experience trying to get a refund for resort fees at Norfolk Oceanview. After speaking with various representatives, including Randy, Kelly, Bee, and Lupe, I still haven't received a confirmation email regarding the refund status. I provided different addresses, like my daughter's work address and a friend's address, due to my current situation of being homeless and staying at Motel 6 in Virginia Beach. Despite assurances from Rachel Patel, a supervisor at Motel 6 Norfolk Oceanview, that emails were sent to [redacted] confirming the refund, I have not received any. I've paid over $[redacted] in motel fees by credit card and now I am waiting for a check within 3 weeks. The communication and follow-up from the escalation team have been lacking, and I hope to reach a resolution soon. Regards, Debra Winkowski.

WARNING: AVOID THIS PLACE! Spent $[redacted] for one night and regret every minute! The room is a roach haven - they come out when the lights are off (have video proof) and the stench of sewage hits you as soon as you enter. The floors are filthy, no fridge, no microwave. Witnessed a fight outside our door and random people knocking at 12:30 am. I went to get ice, and the front desk was empty with a note saying they would return in 15 minutes, only to find the staff smoking weed outside. Unbelievable for the price paid! No refund offered despite the terrible experience. Stay away from this disaster of a place, it's the worst service I've encountered.

During a recent stay at Motel 6 in Pueblo, Colorado, my wife and I encountered several issues. The room had a foul smell, dried liquids on surfaces, and bugs, which made our stay very unpleasant. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of Ms. Tiffany Cornish at the front desk within 20 minutes of checking in, we were informed that a refund was not possible. As we had been driving for over 11 hours, we had no choice but to endure the conditions of the room. I believe that given the unsanitary and bug-infested nature of the room, a full refund is warranted for the amount we paid for our stay.

I kindly request for my check to be mailed to me. The work environment here seems to revolve around drug use and is filled with unpredictable events. I felt unwell and hesitant to work my shift alone, so I informed my supervisor that I preferred to stay home. Surprisingly, I got fired for being considered selfish despite the circumstances. The supervisor mentioned working for 17 hours due to throat surgery, although I wasn't scheduled to work during that time. I tried contacting support twice, but they only promised to email the supervisor. I was advised not to reach out directly and to involve the labor department. My attempts to communicate were restricted, and I refrained from further contact due to concerns of harassment. For your reference, my name is Cheyanne Saunders. I resided in room [redacted] on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville, SC. A family emergency prompted me to leave my belongings temporarily, and the manager, Megan Parham, assured me she would assist. Upon my return, I discovered I am now blacklisted. Megan agreed to help retrieve my remaining items, which include a broken bathroom door, closet door, kitchen cabinets, missing towels, and a malfunctioning shower. Regrettably, my chair, clothes, and groceries are gone, but Megan seems uninterested in resolving the situation. After a tiring drive from Minnesota, I lack the energy to deal with this. I am prepared to rent the room for a month but require someone to address these issues promptly.
